      • Knowledge Acquisition Approach Based on Rough Set in Online Aided Decision System for Food Processing Quality and Safety

        For the problem that the use effect of food processing information system is poor due to absence of knowledge acquisition measures and knowledge self-updating function, a knowledge acquisition approach based on rough set is put forward. First, the approach establishes a set of predicted samples for the relationship between food processing parameters and product quality; then uses the discretization of continuous attribute, attribute reduction and rule extraction algorithm of rough set to acquire automatically predicted knowledge from a large number of predicted sample sets, and then saves the predicted knowledge in the knowledge base of expert system; finally, realizes the extraction of knowledge of food processing process based on the inference engine, which greatly enhances the effectiveness and practicality of the acquired knowledge in online aided decision system of the food processing quality and safety.

      • Study on an Improved ACO Algorithm Based on Multi-Strategy in Solving Function Problem

        In order to overcome the blindness of chaotic search, improve the convergence speed and global solving ability of the basic ant colony optimization(ACO) algorithm, an improved ACO algorithm based on combining multi-population strategy, adaptive adjustment pheromone strategy, chaotic search method and min-max ant strategy (MPCSMACO)is proposed in this paper. In the proposed MPCSMACO algorithm, the multi-population strategy is introduced to realize the information exchange and cooperation among the various types of ant colony. The chaotic search method with the ergodicity, randomness and regularity by using the logistic mapping is used to overcome too long search time, avoid falling into the local extremum in the initial stage and improve the search accuracy in the late search. The min-max ant strategy is used to avoid the local optimization solution and the stagnation. And the ants with different probability search different area according to the concentration of pheromone, so as to reduce the search number of the blindness of chaotic search method. Several Benchmark functions are selected to testify the performance of the MPCSMACO algorithm. The experiment results show that the MPCSMACO algorithm takes on the better global search ability and convergence performance.

      • Senescence as A Consequence of Ginsenoside Rg<sub>1</sub> Response on K562 Human Leukemia Cell Line

        Aims and Background: Traditional chemotherapy strategies for human leukemia commonly use drugs based on cytotoxicity to eradicate cancer cells. One predicament is that substantial damage to normal tissues is likely to occur in the course of standard treatments. Obviously, it is urgent to explore therapies that can effectively eliminate malignant cells without affecting normal cells. Our previous studies indicated that ginsenoside $Rg_1$ ($Rg_1$), a major active pharmacological ingredient of ginseng, could delay normal hematopoietic stem cell senescence. However, whether $Rg_1$ can induce cancer cell senescence is still unclear. Methods: In the current study, human leukemia K562 cells were subjected to $Rg_1$ exposure. The optimal drug concentration and duration with K562 cells was obtained by MTT colorimetric test. Effects of $Rg_1$ on cell cycle were analyzed using flow cytometry and by SA-${\beta}$-Gal staining. Colony-forming ability was measured by colony-assay. Telomere lengths were assessed by Southern blotting and expression of senescence-associated proteins P21, P16 and RB by Western blotting. Ultrastructural morphology changes were observed by transmission electron microscopy. Results: K562 cells demonstrated a maximum proliferation inhibition rate with an $Rg_1$ concentration of $20{\mu}\;mol{\cdot}L^{-1}$ for 48h, the cells exhibiting dramatic morphological alterations including an enlarged and flat cellular morphology, larger mitochondria and increased number of lysosomes. Senescence associated-${\beta}$-galactosidase (SA-${\beta}$-Gal) activity was increased. K562 cells also had decreased ability for colony formation, and shortened telomere length as well as reduction of proliferating potential and arrestin $G_2$/M phase after $Rg_1$ interaction. The senescence associated proteins P21, P16 and RB were significantly up-regulated. Conclusion: Ginsenoside $Rg_1$ can induce a state of senescence in human leukemia K562 cells, which is associated with p21-Rb and p16-Rb pathways.

      • A Maneuver Control Method for Stealthy Engagement in Beyond-visual-range Air Combat Based on Sliding Mode Control

        A S-type engagement of beyond-visual-range (BVR) air combat tactical method based on sliding mode control is proposed, which is aiming at the problem of Doppler pulse (PD) radar blind zone. By introducing the Electronic Support Measures (ESM), the whole tactical process is divided into two sub-processes: quick engagement and stealthy engagement. This paper designs a stealthy engagement process controller based on the double power sliding mode control, and a quick engagement process controller based on the back-stepping second order sliding mode. The simulation experiment shows that our aircraft can use EMS to judge the enemy radar detection information and switch the strategy. And it can successfully enter the enemy radar blind zone through S-type maneuver, occupy the dominant area, which can effectively complete the stealthy engagement.

        A decade of liver organoids: Advances in disease modeling

        Liver organoids are three-dimensional cellular tissue models in which cells interact to form unique structures in culture. During the past 10 years, liver organoids with various cellular compositions, structural features, and functional properties have been described. Methods to create these advanced human cell models range from simple tissue culture techniques to complex bioengineering approaches. Liver organoid culture platforms have been used in various research fields, from modeling liver diseases to regenerative therapy. This review discusses how liver organoids are used to model disease, including hereditary liver diseases, primary liver cancer, viral hepatitis, and nonalcoholic fatty liver disease. Specifically, we focus on studies that used either of two widely adopted approaches: differentiation from pluripotent stem cells or epithelial organoids cultured from patient tissues. These approaches have enabled the generation of advanced human liver models and, more importantly, the establishment of patient-tailored models for evaluating disease phenotypes and therapeutic responses at the individual level.

        Microstructure and mechanical properties of yttrium aluminum garnet porous ceramics prepared by different sintering process parameters

        Yttrium aluminum garnet (YAG), which possesses excellent properties, is investigated and applied. The sintering technology of YAG porous ceramics is optimized. Results show that the porosity initially increases and then decreases with an increase of increasing temperature rate, the porosity are decreased with an increase of removing carbon temperature, the porosity are decreased with an increase of sintering temperature, the porosity are decreased with an increase of holding time. Meanwhile, the compressive strength constantly exhibits an opposite tendency. The optimization of the sintering technology of YAG porous ceramics is based on porosity and compressive strength. A good sintering technology are an increasing temperature rate of 8 oC/min, a removing carbon temperature of 800 oC, removing carbon time of 1 h, a sintering temperature of 1450 oC and holding time of 2 h. The porosity of the prepared YAG porous ceramics is 57.4%, and the compressive strength is 8.89 MPa.

      • Short Low Concentration Cisplatin Treatment Leads to an Epithelial Mesenchymal Transition-like Response in DU145 Prostate Cancer Cells

        Background: Prostate cancer is one of the main causes of cancer death, and drug resistance is the leading reason for therapy failure. However, how this occurs is largely unknown. We therrfore aimed to study the response of DU145 cells to cisplatin. Materials and Methods: Du145 prostate cancer cells were treated with a low dose of cisplatin for 24 h and cell viability and number were determined by MTT assay and trypan blue exclusion assay, respectively. The real time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was used to assess responses to cisplatin treatment. Results: After 24h $2{\mu}g/ml$ treatment did not result in significant reduction in cell viability or number. However, it led to enhanced cancer cell invasiveness. E-cadherin mRNA was reduced, and vimentin, Snail, Slug, metalloproteinase 9 (MMP9) mRNA expression increased significantly, a feature of epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT). Conclusions: Short time low concentration cisplatin treatment leads to elevated invasiveness of DU145 cancer cells and this is possibly due to EMT.

        Sintering technology and properties of sponge city permeable bricks prepared from electrical porcelain was

        The generated electric porcelain waste increases with the rapid development of the electric porcelain industry. Unreasonableutilization results in the waste of resources and environmental pollution. However, at present, many coal gangues and fly ashesare wasted and underutilized in my country. In this paper, electric porcelain waste is used as the main raw material, and itssintering temperature, holding time, and heating rate are discussed to study the performance of the permeable brick preparedfrom electric porcelain waste. Results show that with the increase in sintering temperature, the porosity and waterpermeability coefficient of permeable bricks decrease, and their volume shrinkage rate and compressive strength show anincreasing trend. Furthermore, porosity decreases with the increase in holding time. The volume shrinkage rate andcompressive strength increase, and the water permeability coefficient decreases. The volume shrinkage rate of the permeablebrick decreases, and its porosity, water permeability coefficient, and compressive strength increase with the heating rate. Combined with the comprehensive consideration of the porosity, volume shrinkage rate, water permeability coefficient, andcompressive strength of permeable bricks, the best sintering process for preparing permeable bricks from electrical porcelainwaste is presented with a sintering temperature of 1225 °C, holding time of 1 h, and heating rate of 6 °C/min. The porosityof the prepared permeable brick is 79.5%, the volume shrinkage rate is 25.79%, the water permeability coefficient is 2.82×10-2cm/s, and the compressive strength is 5.79 MPa.

        An improved resonantly driven piezoelectric gas pump

        Piezoelectric pumps have the potential to be used in a variety of applications, such as in air circulation and compression. However, piezoelectric membrane pumps do not have enough driving capacity, and the heat induced during the direct contact between the driving part and the gas medium cannot be dissipated smoothly. When the gas is blocked, the piezoelectric vibrator generates heat quickly, which may eventually lead to damage. Resonantly driven piezoelectric stack pumps have high performance but no price advantage. In this situation, a novel, resonantly driven piezoelectric gas pump with annular bimorph as the driver is presented. In the study, the working principle of the novel pump was analyzed, the vibration mechanics model was deter-mined, and the displacement amplified theory was studied. The outcome indicates that the displacement amplification factor is related with the original displacement provided by the piezoelectric bimorph. In addition, the displacement amplification effect is related to the stiffness of the spring lamination, adjustment spring, and piezoelectric vibrator, as well as to the systematic damping factor and the driving frequency. The experimental prototypes of the proposed pump were designed, and the displacement amplification effect and gas output performance were measured. At 70 V of sinusoidal AC driving voltage, the improved pump amplified the piezoelectric vibrator displacement by 4.2 times, the maximum gas output flow rate reached 1685 ml/min, and the temperature of the bimorph remained normal after 2000 hours of operation when the gas medium was blocked.
