심영식 ( Sim¸ Young-sik ) 한국스페인어문학회 2021 스페인어문학 Vol.- No.100
In this study, the Spanish I Section of the CSAT, which was conducted for 10 years from 2011 to 2020, was the subject of analysis. In particular, in-depth analysis was conducted on the vocabulary and grammar areas where the majority of high-difficulty questions were concentrated. In vocabulary area analysis, 10 questions related to idioms and 8 questions related to multisense words in the vocabulary area for 10 years can be said to increase the difficulty of the vocabulary area. In idiomatic expressions, the more difficult a combination of words had an unfamiliar meaning, the higher the difficulty level, and in polysemic words, when asked for the meaning of the rear rank, the difficulty was higher. In the analysis of the grammar area, we tried to grasp the tendency of the grammar elements that were repeatedly asked, and tried to understand how the difficulty level was increased, focusing on the questions with high difficulty. There were a number of grammatical elements that were repeatedly asked, and most of the high-difficulty questions asked for a grammatically correct or wrong grammatical judgment, and combined response questions were used. It can be understood as a high-level measure to increase the difficulty with the correct answer rate in mind, but while increasing the difficulty, the educational ripple effect of the CSAT and the evaluation of language use should be considered.
Clausal Architecture of Auxiliary Verb and Periphrastic Causative Constructions in Korean
( Youngsik Choi ) 대한언어학회 2017 언어학 Vol.25 No.2
I show that auxiliary verb construction in Korean is mono-clausal, using negation, manner adverbial and argument projection, prosodic boundary of pause as valid tests. The present result is quite in agreement with the cross-linguistic observation in the literature (Anderson 2006), according to which the auxiliary verb construction is mono-clausal. I will also show that when the same sentence is construed as a non-auxiliary verb construction, it is a complex sentence with a non-complement subordinate clause. I will also argue that periphrastic causative construction is a non-auxiliary verb construction, too, a complex sentence with a complement clause. The present research will have a non-trivial implication on a better understanding of the auxiliary verb constructions in Korean in general.
Free vibrations of an annular sector bimorph plate
Youngsik Kim,Pilki Kim,Jongwon Seok 대한기계학회 2006 대한기계학회 춘추학술대회 Vol.2006 No.11
An analysis of the flexural vibrations of an annular sector bimorph plate is performed by means of a variational approximation procedure. The bimorph plate is clamped on the outer circumferential edge and free on the other three. The method of separation of variable is used and the solution functions satisfying differential equation in radial direction are obtained by introducing a Frobenius type expansion. To evaluate the eigenfrequencies and the associated eigenmodes, the dispersion relations of the circumferential- and radial-directional flexural waves are obtained first, where these relations satisfy the edge conditions on the two facing circumferential edges exactly. The waves satisfying the dispersion relations are employed as the solution funnctions for the remaining part of the variational equation, where all conditions occur as natural type. The resulting eigensolutions, which satisfy the remaining part variationally, are compared with those obtained from an FE analysis.

Focal point height-dependent silicon Raman spectra were taken from silicon nanowires (SiNWs) vertically grown on a patterned Ni-Ti bimetallic strips on Si(100) with a native oxide caused by annealing at 1000 ℃. The peak position of the silicon optical vibrational mode experiences a large shift in a short spatial interval that corresponds to the thickness of the reactive layer formed by diffusion among the layers. This peak shift indicates the development of stress in the thin reactive layer. This stress acts as the driving force for the vertical growth of SiNWs.
The Structure of caki and Implication for Null Argument
YoungSik Choi 현대문법학회 2013 현대문법연구 Vol.73 No.-
It has been a common view in the literature since Yang (1984, 1988) that caki ‘self' is a long distance anaphor, subject to parameterizaton of the binding domain across languages. I suggest that caki ’self' is a local anaphor with a DP structure including pro. I also suggest that a null argument in Korean has a DP structure with pro, too, based on the wide range of similarities with caki ‘self.' The present proposal for caki ’self' and the null argument has a nontrivial theoretical implication for anaphors and null arguments in languages typologically akin to Korean.
A Publish/Subscribe System using Multiple Brokers for Mobile Ad Hoc Networks
Youngsik Seo,Younghan Kim 대한전자공학회 2009 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2009 No.7
In this paper, we introduce a publish/subscribe system using multiple brokers for MANETs. A publish/subscribe system is a good solution for disseminating events in MANETs. A publish/subscribe system consists of three elements; publishers, subscribers, and broker/rendezvous nodes. However, in MANETs where there are no infrastructures some nodes should play roles of broker/rendezvous nodes. If the broker/rendezvous nodes have many subscriptions, they can be serious bottleneck. In order to manage many subscriptions, we propose a multiple broker scheme. Via simulation, we evaluated the forwarded datagrams in the network depending on the number of broker nodes. The result shows that there is significant traffic reduction using multiple broker nodes.

Mismatch or non-isomorphic mapping between form and function is prevalent in natural languages. English is no exception in this respect. It displays various instances of mismatch phenomena that can be classified into two main groups: complexity and content mismatch. This paper discusses several instances of these two types of mismatch in English and sketches how the lexicalist grammar with parallel architecture can license such non-isomorphic relations or no direct correspondences between form and meaning.
