The purpose of this study was to develop survey tools for diagnosis of capacity levels in business promotion of rural residents when performing a rural development project of a regional unit. The cases of previous studies were analyzed to select community capacity indicators related to a rural development project. Five indicators were derived : social capital, consciousness of participation, community spirit, and leadership. Based on the five indicators, measurement items of various capacities were selected and 54 survey items were selected through evaluation of experts twice. The pilot tests were conducted and targeted at Jeonnam song ho-jung village and Gyeongnam Haegeumgang village to identify derived survey items. In addition, descriptive statistic analysis and reliability analysis were conducted. As a result, survey items were corrected by reducing 10 items of the total 54 items. This results showed that using this tool could help us understand capacity levels of rural residents.

EEGs were recorded four times each for one minute when ten participants both took a rest and listened to music. They opened and closed their eyes twice for each situation. Differences for relaxation effects between rest and music periods were not found from the index of α log power. Closing eyes increased the relaxation effects from the index of α log power. β log power indexes showed that β wave (especially in the left hemisphere) increased when listening to music while closing their eyes. 피험자 10명(남5, 여5)을 대상으로 이완을 위한 명상음악이 좌우 반구의 비대칭성을 유발하는지, 그리고 명상음악이 일반적인 이완 반응 이상의 효과를 내는지, 또한 그 효과는 눈의 개폐에 따라 차이가 있는지를 EEG측정을 통해 확인하고자 하였다. EEG측정은 이완 상황과 음악을 듣는 상황에서 각각 측정되었다. 각 상황에서 1분마다 눈의 개폐가 두 번 반복되는 동안 EEG를 측정하여 각 상황마다 1분씩 4번 4분간 측정하게 되어 전체 측정은 8번으로 8분간 측정하였다. a 로그 파워 지표에 있어서, 이완 상황과 명상음악 상황간의 이완 효과의 차이는 발견되지 않았다. 이완 상황과 명상음악 상황 모두에서 눈을 뜨고 있을 때보다 눈을 감고 있을 때 a 로그 파워 시표상의 이완 효과가 더 컸다. B 로그 파워 지표에 있어서는, 이완 상황시 눈 뜸/감음간의 차이는 없지만, 명상음악 상황에서는 눈을 감고 있을 때의 활성화 정도가 높으면, 그 현상은 좌반구에서 더 뚜렷했다. 뇌파의 활성화라는 물리적 지표 이외에 그 당시 어떤 감정 상태이었는지도 고려할 필요성이 있음을 강조하고, 이러한 맥락 속에서 결과를 해석하였으며, 후속 연구의 방향을 논의하였다.
희생양극을 이용한 자동차 소음기의 음극방식에 관한 연구

In order to apply a sacrificial anode cathodic protection system for automotive muffler materials, determination of reliable sacrificial anode and its protection ability were evaluated by laboratory tests in synthetic condensed water. Three kinds of sacrificial anodes were selected: aluminum (AI), zinc (Zn) and magnesium (Mg), and the muffler materials were Al-coated steel and uncoated steel. The corrosion behavior in synthetic condensed water for the muffler materials and sacrificial anodes was investigated by potentiodynamic tests. The cathodic protection ability was evaluated by galvanic corrosion test and weight-loss test. The results of the potentiodynamic test indicated that Al was less suitable for sacrificial anode because it became passive. Mg was also unqualified due to the high dissolution rate. However, Zn was adequate for sacrificial anode because of its low dissolution rate, high stability and suitable potential difference. Results of weight-loss test demonstrated that the corrosion rate of Al-coated steel was reduced from 0.028 to 0.018 mm/year, and that of uncoated steel was 0.08 to 0.002 mm/year by coupling with Zn anode. In addition, the proper area ratio of anode to cathode was 1 : 10. From these results, it can be concluded that Zn anode can protect both the Al-coating with passivation, and steel substrate with low dissolution rate. (Received January 8, 2004)

전신성 홍반성 낭창(systemic lupus erythematosus, SLE)은 비정상적으로 증가한 병원성 자가 항체와 면역복합체에 의한 조직 및 세포의 손상을 특징으로 하는 자가 면역성 질환으로, 다양한 자가 항체와 면역복합체는 신장을 포함한 모든 장기를 침범할 수 있다. 신장을 침범한 전신성 홍반성 낭창은 단백뇨, 현미경적 혈뇨, 고혈압과 신기능 이상을 발현할 수 있다. 저자들은 초기 임상적으로 막증식 사 구체신염(membranoproliferative glomerulonephritis, MPGN)의 임상소견으로 발현하여, 검사 상 전신성 홍반성 낭창과 조직학적으로 MPGN 소견을 보인 여자 환아를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다.
저먼 세퍼드에서 발생한 내측 갈고리돌기 유합부전을 컴퓨터 단층촬영술을 이용하여 진단한 증례

A 4-year-old male German shepherd dog with reluctance to exercise, swelling of bilateral elbow joint and general depression was referred to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University. Swelling, alopecia and lichenification of bilateral elbow joint were observed on physical examination. Osteophytes, sclerosis and joint mouse of bilateral elbow joint were found on radiography. Deformation of medical coronoid process and soft tissue density swelling at caudal part of bilateral elbow joint were also observed on radiography. Computed tomography revealed fragmented medial coronoid process and osteophytes of bilateral elbow joint. Therefore this case was diagnosed as fragmented medical coronois process and degenerative joint disease.

Theoretical analysis and experiment for supersonic flow around the wedges have been conducted. Wedges are being used as a means of measuring a flow direction, Mach No., a basic study of inlet or combustion chamber of ramjet and scramjet engine. We use a shock tunnel to get a supersonic flow conditions and schlieren system to visualize supersonic flow field around wedge. Numerical simulation is also conducted by Harten-Yee type 2nd-order Total Variable Diminishing(TVD) scheme and oblique shock theory. Comparison of calculated results with experimental data is in good agreement.

The purpose of this study is to establish an evaluation method of fracture of light-weight framed walls by human impact load. In this paper, part (I), we analyzed human impact load applied to framed walls. At first, we made original measuring equipment of impact load, and carried out the experiment on human impact load in various action. After the experiment, we extracted the essential characteristics. And grasped the property of human impact load systematically based on the relation between maximum load and load velocity.
