투자자들은 뉴스 기사를 통해서 얻은 정보를 토대로 자신의 직관과 경험에 비추어 투자를 진행한다. 그러나 이러한 직관에 의존하여 투자하는 방식은 감정에 영향을 받기 때문에 객관적인 데이터에 기반한 결정보다 편향될 가능성이 높다. 따라서 투자자들의 더욱 객관적인 투자 결정을 위해 뉴스가 시장에 미칠 영향력이 어느정도인지에 대한 정량적인 기준이 필요하다. 본 논문은 뉴스가 주가에 미치는 영향력을 정량화하여 제공하기위해, 문서 집합 내의 토픽을 추출하는 기법인 LDA(Latent Drichlet Allocation) 토픽 모델링과 머신러닝을 활용한 주가 영향력 예측 시스템을 제안한다. Investors make investments in light of their intuition and experience based on the information obtained through news articles. However, since the method of relying on this intuition is influenced by emotions, it is likely to be biased rather than decisions based on objective data. Therefore, a quantitative criterion is needed on how much influence the news will have on the market for more objective investment decisions of investors. In order to quantify and provide the influence of news on the stock price, this paper proposes a stock price influence prediction system using Latent Dichlet Allocation (LDA) topic modeling and machine learning, a technique that extracts topics within a set of documents.

This paper proposes a new method for the automatic detection of atrial fibrillation (AF), using Markov regime switching GARCH (1, 1) model. The proposed method is based on the observation that variability patterns of heart rate intervals during AF significantly differ from regular patterns. The proposed method captures the different patterns of heart rate intervals between two regimes : normal and AF states. We test the proposed method using Massachusetts Institute of Technology-Beth Israel Hospital (MIT-BIH) atrial fibrillation database, and demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

In this work, the key intermediate, 4-amino-4'-(2-amino-4-anilino-1,3,5-triazine-6-yl)-aminostilbene-2,2'-disulfonic acid, was prepared from 4-(2-amino-4-anilino-1,3,5-triazine-6-yl)amino-4'-nitrostilbene-2,2'-disulfonate by using Tin(II) chloride as the reducing agent. Using this intermediate, nineteen new asymmetrically substituted bistriazinylstilbene fluorescent brightening agents were synthesized. Chemical structures of the obtained compounds 5a-s were analyzed by proton NMR spectrum. The physical properties of the new compounds 5a-s were characterized by fastness test and whiteness measurement test and the obtained data were compared to measurements obtained from CI 86.
비대면 온라인 수업에서의 플립러닝 적용 사례연구: 사회계열 교과목과 공학계열 교과목을 중심으로

본 연구에서는 대학의 사회계열 교과목과 공학계열 교과목을 중심으로 비대면 온라인 수업에서의 플립러닝 적용사례를 분석하였다. COVID-19라는 사상 초유의 상황으로 인해 교수자와 학습자가 면대면으로 수업을 진행할 수 없게 되면서 기존의 플립러닝 수업이 전면 비대면 온라인 수업에서 진행된 사례를 사회계열 교과목과 공학계열 교과목으로 구분하여 분석해본 결과, 전면 비대면 플립러닝을 적용하여 온라인 수업으로만 진행하더라도 기존 플립러닝 수업과 유사한 효과성이 나타났음을 확인할 수 있었다. 특히, 집중이수제 등 대학의 학사제도 유연화와 연계하거나 융복합 교과목에서 플립러닝을 적용하여 운영한다면 플립러닝의 효과를 더 높일 수 있다는 점에서 본 연구의 결과는 포스트 코로나 시대 대학 수업이 나아가야 할 방향성 모색에 기초자료를 제공할 것으로 예측된다. In this study, we analyzed the application of flipped learning in the untact online classes, focusing on thr social and engineering subjects of universities. Due to the unprecedented situation of COVID-19, the professors and learners were unable to conduct the face-to-faceclasses, and the existing flipped learning classes were analyzed separately from the social and engineering subjects. In particular, the results of this study will provide the basic data on the direction of post-corona-era university classes in that it can increase the effectiveness of flipped learning if it is linked to the flexibility of the universitys academic system such as intensive course.
Rapid Thermal Annealing에 의한 TiO_2 박막의 누설전류특성 향상

The CeO₂ intermediate layer was inserted by rf-sputter system between the TiO_2 layer and the Si substrate. TiO₂films were deposited by metal-organic chemical-vapor-deposition (MOCVD) on Si substrates. The thickness of TiO₂ was 20 nm), and that of CeO₂ was in the 3-65 nm regime. The insertion of the CeO₂ intermediate layer reduced the leakage current significantly after rapid thermal annealing (RTA) in O₂ ambient for 3 min. After HTA, the TiO₂/CeO₂/Si structure showed a significantly lower leakage current than the TiO₂/Si structure. The CeO₂ thickness of the TiO₂/CeO₂/Si structure did not affect leakage current reduction. The formation of the intermixed structure of TiO₂ and CeO₂ at the TiO₂/CeO₂ interface by RTA was thought to contribute to the reduction of the leakage current.

Purpose: The objective of this study was to assess postoperative direct medical expenses and medical utilization of elderly patients who underwent either hemiarthroplasty (HA) or internal fixation (IF) for treatment of a femoral intertrochanteric fracture and to analyze differences according to surgical methods and age groups. Materials and Methods: Data from the 2011 to 2018 Korean National Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service database were used. Risk-set matching was performed for selection of controls representing patients with the same sex, age, and year of surgery. A comparative interrupted time series analysis was performed for evaluation of differences in medical expenses and utilization between the two groups. Results: A total of 10,405 patients who underwent IF surgery and 10,405 control patients who underwent HA surgery were included. Medical expenses were 18% lower in the IF group compared to the HA group during the first year after the fracture (difference-in-difference [DID] estimate ratio 0.82, 95% confidence interval [CI] 0.77-0.87, P<0.001), and 9% lower in the second year (DID estimate ratio 0.91, 95% CI 0.85-0.99, P=0.018). Length of hospital stay was significantly shorter in the IF group compared to the HA group during the first two years after time zero in the age ≥80 group. Conclusion: A noticeable increase in medical expenses was observed for patients who underwent HA for treatment of intertrochanteric fractures compared to those who underwent IF over a two-year period after surgery. Therefore, consideration of such findings is critical when designing healthcare policy support for management of intertrochanteric fractures.

Background: The purpose of this study was to investigate the change in the incidence rate, length of hospital stay (LOS), in-hospital mortality rate, and surgical method of hip fractures during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic in South Korea where lockdown restrictions were not implemented. Methods: We calculated the expected values of the incidence of hip fractures, in-hospital mortality and LOS of hip fracture patients in 2020 (COVID period) based hip fracture database of the Korean National Health Insurance Review and Assessment (HIRA) during a 9-year period from 2011 to 2019 (pre-COVID period). A generalized estimating equation model with Poisson distribution and logarithmic link function was used to estimate adjusted annual percent change (PC) of incidence rate and 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Then, we compared the annual incidence, in-hospital mortality rate and LOS in 2020 with the expected values. Results: The overall incidence rate of hip fracture in 2020 was not significantly different from the expected value (PC, −5%; 95% CI, −13 to 4; P = 0.280). In women, the incidence rate of hip fracture in age groups over 70 years was smaller than the predicted value (P < 0.001). The in-hospital mortality rate was not significantly different from the expected value (PC, 5%; 95% CI, −8 to 19; P = 0.461). The mean LOS was larger than the expected value by 2% (PC, 2%; 95% CI, 1 to 3; P < 0.001). In intertrochanteric fracture, the proportion of internal fixation was smaller than the predicted value by 2% (PC, −2%; 95% CI, −3 to −1; P < 0.001), and that of hemiarthroplasty was larger than the predicted value by 8% (PC, 8%; 95% CI, 4 to 14; P < 0.001). Conclusions: In 2020, the incidence rate of hip fracture did not significantly decrease, and inhospital mortality rate did not significantly increase compared to the expected rates, which were projected based on the HIRA hip fracture data from 2011 to 2019. Only LOS increased slightly.
