폴리머 콘크리트 복합체를 이용하여 악천후에도 시인성이 좋고 주위의 경관과 어울리는 자동점멸 표지병을 개발하였다. 아날로그 회로에 비해 설계상의 난해한 점이 있으나 상대적으로 간편한 디지털 회로를 사용하여 자동점멸 회로를 구성하였으며, 작업의 능률을 높이고 개발비를 줄이기 위하여 OrCAD를 사용한 Simulation을 실시후 회로를 구성하였다. 표지병의 시공시와 같은 환경에서의 실험에서는 디지털회로의 작은 전류와 표지병간의 거리, 전선의 저항으로 인하여 클럭 및 클리어 신호에 전압강하와 상승/하강 시간의 증가가 나타났다. 표지병은 전자회로와 함께 설치되어야 하므로 방수성을 고려하여 표지병과 전자회로를 일체형으로 설계하였다. 실제 시공시의 환경에서 시행한 실험에서 나타난 문제점을 검토하였으며, 향후 연구방향에 관하여 고찰하였다. Using polymer concrete composite, the automatic-on/off road marker that is well distinguished in a bad weather condition of rainy or foggy day and is well harmonized with. Digital circuit that is hard to design but simpler than an analog circuit is used in designing the automatic-on/off circuit, and it order to raise the working efficiency and lower the development cost, OrCAD, a simulation tool of electric circuit, was used in simulating the circuit. In an experiment conducted under the circumstance of practical application, voltage drop and raising/lowering time increment in the clock and the clear signals are occurred because of small current of digital circuit and resistance of electrical line. Because that the road marker is assembled with the digital circuit, it is designed as one assembled unit by considering water proof. Some problems occurred in the experiment and the future work are discussed.

이 硏究는 우리 나라 主要 落葉 關葉樹 21種에 대하여 分枝部(branch junctions)의 相對水分通導性(relative conductivity, RC), leaf specific conductivity(LSC), Huber value(HV), specific conduc-tivity(SC) 등의 水分通導性(hydraulic conductivity, HC), 그리고 邊材部의 平均 導管直徑(㎛)과 導管數(No./m㎡) 등을 測定하여 分枝部의 水分通導 This study was performed to compare the characteristics of hydraulic conductivity such as relative conductivity(RC), leaf specific conductivity(LSC) , Huber value(HV), specific conductivity(SC), anddiameter of vessels(㎛) and number of vessels(No. /㎟) in branch junctions of the twenty-one decidu-ous broad-leaved species. The hydraulic conductivities of branch junctions decreased with increasing junction angle between stem and branch, and with decreasing diameter of branch, The RC and LSC of branch junctions related to branching types(ㅏ, Y, Ψ type) were much lower in ㅏ and Ψ types than in Y type, The diameter and number of vessels remarkably reduced in branch junctions as compared with the stem and branch.

STATEMENT OF PROBLEM. Use of custom tray and tray adhesive is clinically recommended for elastomeric impression material. However there is not clear mention of drying time of tray adhesive in achieving appropriate bonding strength of tray material and impression material. PURPOSE. This study is to investigate an appropriate drying time of tray adhesives by evaluating tensile bonding strength between two types of polyvinylsiloxane impression materials and resin tray, according to various drying time intervals of tray adhesives, and with different manufacturing company combination of impression material and tray adhesive. MATERIAL AND METHODS. Adhesives used in this study were Silfix (Dentsply Caulk, Milford, Del, USA) and VPS Tray Adhesive (3M ESPE, Seefeld, Germany) and impression materials were Aquasil Ultra (monophase regular set, Dentsply Caulk, Milford, Del, USA) and Imprint Ⅱ Gai-ant (regular body, 3M ESPE, Seefeld, Germany). They were used combinations from the same manufacture and exchanged combinations of the two. The drying time was designed to air dry, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and 25 minutes. Total 240 of test specimens were prepared by auto-polymerizing tray material(Instant Tray Mix, Lang, Wheeling, Ⅱ, USA) with 10 specimens in each group. The specimens were placed in the Universal Testing machine(Instron, model 3366, Instron Corp, University avenue, Nowood, MA, USA) to perform the tensile test (cross head speed 5 mm/min). The statistically efficient drying time was evaluated through ANOVA and Scheffe test. All the tests were performed at 95% confidence level. RESULTS. The results revealed that at least 10 minutes is needed for Silfix-Aquasil, and 15 minutes for VPS Tray Adhesive-lmprint Ⅱ, to attain an appropriate tensile bonding strength. VPS Tray Adhesive-lmprint II had a superior tensile bonding strength when compared to Silfix-Aquasil over 15 minutes. Silfix-Aquasil had a superior bonding strength to VPS Tray Adhesive-Aquasil, and VPS Tray Adhesive-lmprint Ⅱ had a superior tensile bonding strength to Silfix-lmprint Ⅱ at all drying periods. CONCLUSION. Significant increase in tensile bonding strength with Silfix-Aquasil and VPS Tray adhesive-Imprint Ⅱ combination until 10 and 15 minutes respectively. Tray adhesive-impression material combination from the same company presented higher tensile bonding strength at all drying time intervals than when using tray adhesive-impression material of different manufactures.

OBJECTIVES:: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and tolerability of blonanserin for the treatment of Korean patients with schizophrenia using a double-blind risperidone-compared design. METHODS:: Patients aged 18 to 65 years with schizophrenia were randomly assigned to blonanserin or risperidone treatment for 8 weeks. The efficacy was assessed using the mean change in Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale score total scores from baseline to week 8. Safety assessments included monitoring of vital signs, a physical examination, laboratory tests, and adverse events. RESULTS:: Of 206 randomly enrolled patients, 103 receiving blonanserin and 103 receiving risperidone were included in the analysis. In this study, noninferiority between blonanserin and risperidone was demonstrated. The mean change in the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale total score at the final evaluation time point was −23.48 ± 19.73 for the blonanserin group and −25.40 ± 18.38 for the risperidone group. Adverse events, which occurred less frequently in the blonanserin than in the risperidone group, included dysarthria (P = 0.0288), dizziness (P = 0.0139), increased alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase (P = 0.0095 and P = 0.0032, respectively), and increased level blood prolactin (P = 0.0012). On the other hand, the adverse events that occurred more frequently in the blonanserin than in the risperidone group was hand tremor (P = 0.0006). CONCLUSIONS:: Blonanserin was effective in the treatment of Korean patients with schizophrenia compared with risperidone and was more tolerable with a better safety profile, particularly with respect to prolactin elevation. These findings suggest that blonanserin is useful in the treatment of schizophrenia.

This study was carried out to compare the characteristics of relative conductivity(RC) in the twenty -one deciduous broad-leaved species. The results obtained were summarized as follows 1. The RC ranged from 3.18 × 10^(-15) to 1.23 × 10^(-10) ㎡ in deciduous broad-leaved species, and appeared different values in various portions of a tree and species. 2. In eight diffuse-porous species, the ranges of average RC were 3.49 × 10^(-13) to 6.35 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in stems. 4.89 × 10^(-13) to 2.99 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in branches, and 1.33 × 10^(-13) to 9.42 × 10^(-12) ㎡ in junction part between stem and branch. In thirteen ring-porous species, the RCs were 7.14 × 10^(-13) to 4.76 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in stems, 2.93 × 10^(-13) to 3.91 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in branches, and 1.41 × 10^(-13) to 9.20 × 10^(-12) ㎡ in junction part. 3. The RC and diameter of stem have no interrelation in eight diffuse-porous species. The RC of stem increased with decreasing diameter of stem in eleven ring-porous species except Fraxinus mandshurica and Maackia amurensis. 4. In five deciduous broad-leaved species, the RC of 1-year-old shoots(the leader and adjacent laterals ) ranged from 4.87 × 10^(-13) to 8.41 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in the leaders, and 7.93 × 10^(-14) to 2.01 × 10^(-11) ㎡ in the adjacent laterals. The RCs were much greater in the leaders than in the adjacent laterals because of the hydraulic dominance of the leader shoot.
