        저장벽 양자우물구조와 비태칭 패브리 - 페로 공명기 구조에 의한 고성능 2×4 S-SEED Array 구현

        GaAs/Al_(0.04)Ga_(0.96)As 다중양자우물 구조를 이용한 반사형 PIN 다이오우드 S-SEED의 설계에 있어 낮은 동작전압, 높은 포화에너지 및 높은 반사율 on/off 강도비를 얻고자 저장벽 양자우물구조와 비대칭 페브리-페로 공명구조를 결합하였다. 2×4 array를 구성하는 S-SEED들은 역방향 동작전압 5V에서 평균적으로 13 이상의 반사율 on/off 강도비 (CR)와 약 24%의 반사율차 (ΔR) 및 91% 이상의 광쌍안정폭 (Δ)을 나타내었다. 공명구조를 이용함으로서 PIN 다이오우드 진성영역내의 양자우물의 주기수를 줄일 수 있어 외부동작전압 없이도 CR~4.7, R~9.2%, ~22%의 향상된 무전압 광쌍안정 동작특성을 얻었다. We designed and fabricated a 2×4 symmetric self electro-optic effect device array using GaAs/Al_(0.04)Ga_(0.96)As extremely shallow quantum wells grown by a molecular beam epitaxy. By employing ESQW and asymmetric Fabry-Perot cavity structure simultaneously, we improved the performances of S-SEED such as on/off contrast ratio (CR), reflectivity change (ΔR), and optical bistability loop width (Δ). The average values of the elements of the 2×4 S-SEED array were CR~13.1, R~24%, and Δ~91%. It was found that the AFP cavity structure enhances the self-biased optical bistability in ESQW-SEED under no external bias. That is due to the decreased intrisic region thickness in AFP-SEED structures, and which increases the built-in electric fields. The zero-biased S-SEED showed CR of ~4.7, R~9%, and Δ~22%.

      • 우리나라 1개 농촌 지역 주민의 질병상태에 관한 조사 : 경기도 양주군 수동면 Su-Dong Myun, Yang-Ju Gun, Kyung-Gi Do

        A study on the status of disease in a Korean rural Community, Su-Dong Myun, Yong Ju Gun, Kyung-Gi Do was carried out from December, 28 1978 to January, 19 1979 through analizing the meclical records of Su-Dong Health Subcenter during the period september, 1977 to August, 1978 and following results were obtained. 1. New cases of out patients were 5,695 composed of 49.1% male and 50.9% female during the study period. 2. Cumulative cases of out patients were 9,956 composed of 56.4% male and 43.6% female during the study period. 3. Annual morbidity rate was 908.6 per 1,000 for male and 986.4 for female and average annual morbidity rate was 946.6 per 1,00 population. 4. The highest morbidity rate was 3,660.0 as composed of aged 0∼4, the lowest was 498.4 as composed of aged 10∼14 per 1m000 population per year. 5. Following was the order of five major disease which were classified with I.C.D. ① Diseases of the respiratory system : 33.4% ② Diseases of the digestive system : 21.5% ③ Diseases of the skin and subcutaneous tissue : 15.4% ④ Diseases of the nervous system and sense organs : 7.9% ⑤ Accidents, poisonings and violence : 9.4% 6. The visiting rate in the health subcenter were 2.01 for male, 1.44 for female and the average 1.75 per each out patient. 7. Average medical fee per new case was 653±510 won and average cumulatived fee per case was 923±833 won. 8. The distribution of out patients according to the cost of medical fee, 48.9% of total new patients was treated with less than 500 won and 93.3% of new patients was treated with less than 1,000 won.

      • 漢江의 越冬鳥類

        The Han River is an important river where some twentys pecies of waterbirds yearly visit for staging or wintering-including some species of surface-water (or inland-water ducks), geese, and diving ducks which are dominant. The river, which has the capacity for more than 15,000 waterbirds and which is located in their migrating route, is considered essential for their surviving. As we know, the accepted ornithological criteria for assigning international importance to wetlands as propounded by the International Wetlands Conferences in Ramar, Iran(1972) and Heiligenhafen, West Germany(1974) are: (ⅰ) the wetland should support at least 1% of the population of one or more species of waders or waterfowl in an international flyway. In the present context this constitutes Europe and North Africa; (ⅱ) the wetland should support totals of 20,000 or more waders and/or more than 10,000 wildfowl of all species. However, the number of the waterfowl visiting the Han River every year exceeds the figures suggested above for wetland criteria in Europe or North Africa. Thus, the Han River is regarded very important both domestically and internationally. The decrease in the past twenty years in the number of waterfowl and waders migrating to this river is largely due to the water pollution caused by industrial sewage and insecticides flowing into Han River and to the development of agricultural and recreation areas within the river which have encroached and impoverished habitats. For minimizing negative ecological impacts on wildfowl from the factors mentioned above and from Han River developing projects, constant efforts should be made for effective supervision and rational administration for nature conservation through scientific surveys and researches.

      • 정신박약아 부모와 지체부자유아 부모의 양육태도에 대한 비교연구

        본연구에서는 대구 보명학교 아동의 부모 100명(정박군)과 대구보건학교 부모 62명(지체부자유군)의 아동에 대한 부모의 태도를 검사하여 CR 검증을 하였고 다이아그래프로 도시하여 고찰하였다. 본연구에서 나타난 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. A. 정박군, 지체구자유군의 양육태도의 차이는 소극적 거부형, 익애형, 맹종향, 불일치형의 4개 유형에서 001의 수준으로 매우 의의있는 차이가 나타나며 적극적거부형은 01수준에서 퍽 의의있는 차이로 나타나고 있어 이 5개의 유형 모두가 정박군이 더 위험 수준에 있다. B) 지체부자유에 대한 부와 모의 태도에는 의의있는 차이가 없고 부모공히 위험영역에 있다.

      • 압축기 익렬의 유동 해석에 관한 수치적 연구

        In this paper the upwind flux difference splitting Navier-Stokes method has been applied to study the ARL-SL19 supersonic/transonic compressor cascade flow. The freestream Mach No. was 1.612 and exit/inlet pressure ratio(p₂/p₁) was 2.15. We compared the results of the laminar flow and the turbulent flow with the thin-layer algebraic turbulence model of Baldwin-Lomax. The results from current method were compared well in suction surface with the experiment and other computational results; however, not well in pressure surface. The grid effect was studied by varing the grid size (i.e., 98×60, 119×80, 119×100). The 119×80 grid predicted the shock position better than other sizes did; however, not better at pressure surface than the 98×60 grid. The effect of the various exit to inlet pressure ratios (i e., 2.12, 2.21, 2.3) at Mach No. 1.58 on the compressor cascade flow was investigated, the increase in the back pressure moves the shock wave forward, and alters shock structure from Y into λ form.

        Consequences of electronic excitations in CoFe<sub>1.90</sub>Dy<sub>0.10</sub>O<sub>4</sub>

        Present work reports the irradiation induced effects in Dy<SUP>3+</SUP> doped cobalt ferrite nanoparticles in the regime of dominant electronic excitation processes induced by 100 MeV O<SUP>7+</SUP> ion irradiation. Irradiation leads to the deterioration of crystalline phase as envisaged by X-ray diffraction. Crystallite size decreases with the increase of irradiation fluence. Disappearance of certain bands in Raman spectra at higher fluence of irradiation confirms the crystalline disorder induced by electronic excitations. Fourier transform infrared spectra show onset of cation migration from tetrahedral site to octahedral site and vice versa. X-ray absorption fine structure measurements depict the preservation of valence state of metal ions after irradiation. These measurements further infer bond breaking process in irradiated materials. Magnetic measurements carried out on these materials indicate slight increase of saturation magnetization at room temperature followed by the decrease of coercive field. Obtained results are discussed on the basis of appropriate mechanism.

        터빈 로타 디스크의 초음파탐상을 위한 초음파탐촉자의 지향성 및 탐상범위

        터빈 디스크에서 발생하는 결함에 대한 초음파탐상기술을 확립하기 위하여 초음파탐촉자의 근/원거리 음장 및 지향성에 대하여 연구하였다. 영광원자력 LP터빈 No.6 디스크와 동일하게 대비시험편을 제작하였고 터빈로타 디스크의 총음파탐상에 사용된 5MHz PZT 압전탐촉자의 직경에 따른 근/원거리 음장 및 지향성을 계산하고 실험을 통하여 확인하였다. 쐐기와 디스크로 구성된 실험계에서 bore면에 깊이 2mm 및 4mm 인공결함을 지닌 시편과 직경이 0.5inch이고 중심 주파수 5MHz인 초음파탐촉자를 이용하여 계산 및 실험을 수행하였고 그 결과를 비교, 분석하였다. Keyway 영역에 발생한 결함의 탐상능력을 평가하기 위하여 내부의 53mm 및 75mm 지점에 초음파탐촉자를 두고서 45℃ 및 90˚경사각 초음파탐촉자를 설치한 경우를 가정하여 결함의 탐상영역을 결정하였다. Near/far field length and directivity of transducers were investigated for the improvement and evaluation of the detectability of flaws in a disc. The reference block is fabricated for the disc of stage 6 in Yonggwang unit 1. The near/far field and directivity of an ultrasonic transducer with the center frequency of 5 MHz were calculated for the inspection of the disc. These values showed good agreements with the experimental results. In the system composed of a wedge and a disc, those are evaluated theoretically and experimentally for the specimen with the artificial flaws of the size 2mm and 4mm and an ultrasonic transducer with the center frequency 5MHz and diameter 0.5inch. The detectability of keyway-flaw and detectable region for inspection were evaluated by using both tangential 45˚and 90˚ transducers located at the distance of 53mm and 75mm from the disc hub, respectively.

        Investigation on the local electronic/atomic structure properties using XANES/EXAFS and photocatalyst application of Zr<sub>1-x</sub>Cu<sub>x</sub>O<sub>2</sub> (0 @? x @? 0.2)

        <P>We investigated local electronic/atomic structure properties by using X-ray absorption spectroscopy and demonstrated the photocatalyst application of Zr1-xCuxO2 (0 <= x <= 0.2) samples. X ray diffraction (XRD) results revealed the amorphous nature of the samples; however, transmission electron microscopy (TEM) depicted the formation of < 2 nm sized particles in all of the samples. Local electronic structure was investigated by X-ray absorption near edge structure (XANES) at O K-edge, Zr K-edge and Cu K-edge. The O K-edge XANES suggested strong hybridization of s-p-d orbitals upon Cu doping. The Cu K-edge XANES confirmed +1 valence state of Cu (Cu+1) in all of the Cu doped ZrO2 samples. Extended X-ray absorption fine structure (EXAFS) analysis at the Zr K-edge nullifies the formation of trivial phases and confirms the local monoclinic structure in all of the samples. Photocatalyst properties of the samples were investigated by monitoring the net degradation in the methyl orange dye aqueous solution under the UV light irradiation. The Cu doped ZrO2 samples exhibited superior photo-catalyst properties over the undoped ZrO2. (C) 2016 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.</P>
