        Characterization of the European type of maternal lineage evident in extant Jeju native pigs

        Using a partial D‐loop sequence of mtDNA, an intensive analysis was conducted of the maternal lineages of Jeju native pigs (JNPs) from Korea. In total, 100 mtDNA sequences were obtained from Asian wild boars (AWBs), European wild boars (EWBs), Asian domestic pigs (ADPs), European domestic pigs (EDPs), and JNPs and were used for phylogeny and network analyses. Two distinct JNP groups - one (JNPA) in the Asian cluster and the other (JNPE) in the European cluster - were identified in the estimated phylogenetic tree and network. The maternal lineage of JNPE was the closest to that of EWB and a clear haplogroup was identified that shared an identical haplotype (hap04) among 15 individuals of JNPE and 2 individuals of EWB. A Landrace and an EWB shared hap03with a JNPE. EWB, Landrace, Large White, and Duroc formed two clear haplogroups with JNPE in a parsimonious medianjoining network analysis, suggesting that an obvious maternal contribution of EDP has occurred in JNPE in recent years. A pair‐wise mismatch analysis also indicated that JNPE may have experienced a sudden population expansion, suggesting a more recent establishment compared with the gradual population expansion of JNPA. The JNPE group therefore should be further evaluated in order to decide whether this group should be culled or accepted into further programs for maintenance of the JNP population as a pure breed.

        Possible Involvement of Photoperiodic Regulation in Reproductive Endocrine System of Female Olive Flounder Paralichthys olivaceus

        This study investigated possible involvement of photoperiodic regulation in reproductive endocrine system of female olive flounder. To investigate the influence on brain-pituitary axis in endocrine system by regulating photoperiod, compared expression level of Kisspeptin and sbGnRH mRNA in brain and FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA in pituitary before and after spawning. Photoperiod was treated natural photoperiod and long photoperiod (15L:9D) conditions from Aug. 2013 to Jun. 2014. Continuous long photoperiod treatment from Aug. (post-spawning phase) was inhibited gonadal development of female olive flounder. In natural photoperiod group, the Kiss2 expression level a significant declined in Mar. (spawning period). And also, FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA expression levels were increasing at this period. However, in long photoperiod group, hypothalamic Kiss2, FSH-β, LH-β and GH mRNA expression levels did not show any significant fluctuation. These results suggest that expression of hypothalamic Kiss2, GtH and GH in the pituitary would change in response to photoperiod and their possible involvement of photoperiodic regulation in reproductive endocrine system of the BPG axis.

      • 이온교환체로서 Polyphenylene Sulfide Sulfonic Acid에 관한 연구

        Sulfonated poly(phenylene sulfide)(S-PPS) was prepared by the reaction of poly(phenylene sulfide)(PPS) with fuming sulfuric acid. The sulfonation was confirmed by the high intensity band of the SO_3H group at 1190 cm^-1. Thermally crosslinked S-PPS was used for a cation exchange polymer with high thermal stability. The ion exchange capacity of soluble S-PPS(H-form) and insoluble S-PPS(H-form) was 5.16meq/g and 3.50meq/g, respectively. The ion exchange capacity and IR absorbance at 1190cm^-1 of S-PPS were decreased as the curing temperature was increased.

        This study is on the direction of betterment of density and suitability of residence in the highrise apartments. The conclusions are as follow ; 1) Depth per width in unit residence bring down about 1:1.5 in less than 25py., about 1:1.2 in less than 45py. And raise about 1:1 in more than 45py. 2) Building stories make high 12th to 15th Floor. 3) Pitch of building raise 1.0H to 1.25H. So that will be making more comfortable environment without bringing down density of houses in apartments.

      • 해외마케팅 지원체계 효율화 방안에 관한 연구

        최근 국내 경제는 미국경기 침체에 따른 세계경기의 위축, IT경기의 부진, 경쟁의 격화, 환율의 불안 등의 거시환경의 변화로 인하여 수출부진에 직면하고 있으며 이러한 수출부진 여파로 인하여 국내기업의 수출채산성 악화, 설비 투자 및 산업생산감소, 제조업 가동률 하락 등의 문제로 이어지고 있다. 이러한 수출부진을 타개하기 위해서는 근본적으로 국내 기업의 대외경쟁력이 강화되어야 하지만, 아울러 정부의 해외마케팅 지원체계의 효율화가 강구될 필요가 있다. 수출기업의 애로점으로 해외시장의 동향과 바이어리스트 등의 시장정보의 부족을 가장 큰 문제점으로 지적되고 있고, 정부에서는 해외마케팅 지원을 위하여 그간 무역전시회, 시장개척단, 수출구매상담회 등을 추진해오고 있다. 그러나 각 부처의 해외마케팅지원활동이 중복되거나 표적고객을 대상으로 하여 지속적으로 이루어지지 못하는 문제점이 노정되고 있다. 최근 마케팅분야 연구에서 잠재고객을 대상으로 하여 여러 형태의 설득 커뮤니케이션 프로그램을 효율적으로 개발하고 실행하기 위해서는 다양한 커뮤니케이션 요소를 통합적으로 계획하고 조정하는 통합적 마케팅 커뮤니케이션의 중요성이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 정부의 해외마케팅 지원체계의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고 통합적 마케팅 커뮤니케이션 이론을 적용하여 해외마케팅 지원체계의 효율화방안을 제시하고자 한다.

        하악골 골절의 임상적 연구

        The mandible plays a crucial role in the vital human functions of breathing, eating, and speaking. No other bone in the body has such a distinctive shape and function. Because of its prominence in the facial structure, the mandible is highly prone to fracture. A chinical study on 122 patients with mandibular fracture who visited Kangnam General Hospital during 4 year(1992-1995) was done by analysing sex, age, cause, fracture site, teeth involvement, treatment method, complication and involvement of other body part. The results obtained were as follows : 1. The occurrence was more frequent in male than in female with the ratio of 5.4 : 1 and most frequently in twenties. 2. Violence was the most common cause of facial mandibular fracture. 3. In mandibular fracture, fracture site was average 1.5 sites, most frequently in symphysis and simple fracture was 86.1%. 4. As treatment methods, open reduction(78.6%) was used more frequently than closed reduction(21.4%) 5. Post-operational complication occurred in 27.0% of the cases. 6. Other injuries that were related to maxillofacial fracture occurred in 25.4%.

      • UASB 반응조내 생물학적 거동분석을 위한 모델링

        Modeling made it possible to predict the behavior of constituents and microorganisms, and microorganisms, and the changes of process variables with respect to the bed height by assuming the sludge bed zone in UASB(upflow anaerobic sludge blanket) reactor to be a series of CFSTRs(continuous flow stirred tank reactors) of which the volume is proportioned to the gas quantity passing the segmented zone. Mathematical simulations were attemped to identify the balance and distribution of the two microbial populations, which were divided into two groups of acidogenic and methanogenic bacteria, as well as the responces of reactor to the operational conditions in terms of the bed height. Considering the constituents as complex substrates composed of hydrolyzed and nonhydrolyzed materials and VFAs(volatile fatty acids), prediction of the concentration of each constituent was allowed. This reserch indicated that the UASB reactor was relatively stable to shock loading and that the lower part placed below the height of 20%-30% of the sludge bed probably served as a shock absorbing zone. About 70% of organic COD was removed in the lower 55% portion of the sludge bed height.

        Ti alloys, with the advantageous tensile strength/density ratio and the chemical stability, have been used widely in the aerospace and chemical engineering industries and their usages are still expanding in various industrial areas. In the automotive industry, because of their superior merits of weight reduction and fuel saving, Ti alloys are expected to be used as various part materials including connecting rods, engine valves, springs and retainers, which are all subjected to the fatigue loads. In this study, using Ti-3A1-2.5V alloy, the effects of temperature and microstructure change on fatigue crack propagation have been investigated.

        전기적화상에 의한 구순결손의 재건 -증례보고-

        Electrical burns of the lips are most frequently seen in small children, who are apt to chew on electrical cord or plug, the ends of extension cords in their mouth, saliva creates a short circuit across the terminals within the plug, causing an electrical burn. Tissue destruction with electrical burns is sudden and extensive. Extensive, deep coagulation necrosis is instaneously produced by the extreme temparatures of electrical arc. If the child is well grounded, the circuit flow through his body may cause cardiac arrest. The purpose of this report is to document two cases of electrical lip burn and reconstruction of the lip defect with some local flap techniques. For case 1, Z plasty & V - Y plasty and lengthening of the commissure and in case 2, Abbe flap technique was used and scar was revised later. Z - plasty and V- Y plastry were used for scar release and Abbe flap was designed on lower lip to meet the need of upper lip. For short of right lip width, lengthening of the commissure was done. We are to report the improvement with forementioned operation on the patient of electrical burn upon the lip.

        This study is on the point at issue of primary school campus planning to the betterment of teaching environment. The conclusions are as follow: (1) The 60 pupils per a class by prescribe in the law in force should be facing downward to the 40 pupils. (2) It should be avoided closing type in plot planning. (3) The stories of primary school building need to be restricted 3^(rd). floor. (4) The suitable width from blackboard to front row chair must be maintained. (5) The standard of play ground by prescribe in the law in force seems to be impropered.
