The study explores the speaking fluency of Korean learners according to language levels and task trends. The study collected and analyzed two speaking tasks preformed by intermediate and advanced Korean language learners. For a fluency analysis, the factors related to task performance time and elements, such as repetition or modification were measured and the statistical analysis was conducted to verify the measurement results. The analysis showed a difference in speaking performance on the two tasks of intermediate and advanced learners. For tasks with easy difficulty, advanced learners speak faster and take less time off than intermediate learners. These differences appeared different from difficult tasks, with no difference in speed and more difference in the elements associated with pause. In the case of intermediate learners, there were no differences in task, and in the case of advanced learners there were differences in difficulty. Other than the speed and the pause, factors such as repetition or modification did not vary depending on the language level or task. These findings may be due to the fact that the task was not an easy task for intermediate learners to perform, or may be a characteristic of speaking alone for one minute in the process of performing the task. Nevertheless, it is meaningful that we have analyzed the elements of the fluency phenomenon according to the level of learners and the task, and verified the differences.
