Force Control Strategy for Massage Chair Based on Masseur’s Knowhow Data Base
Tatsuya Teramae,Daisuke Kushida,Fumiaki Takemori,Akira Kitamura 대한전자공학회 2008 ITC-CSCC :International Technical Conference on Ci Vol.2008 No.7
Recently, the massage chair is used by a lot of people because they were able to use it easily at home. However, a present massage chair only realizes the massage motion, and the physical condition of the user and the massage force is not considered. Then, the professional masseur’s massage process is that the physical condition of the patient is estimated, and the appropriate massage force is decided based on the estimated physical condition, and the decided massage force is realized. This paper proposes the method of applying masseur’s procedure for the massage chair. The realizability of the proposed method is verified by the experimental work using the massage chair.
Subnational Authoritarianism under the Party of Regions and post-Maidan Boundary Control
Mark Teramae 미래사회통합연구센터 2017 Journal of Conflict and Integration Vol.1 No.2
Based on the concept of subnational authoritarianism, this article lays out the plan for explaining how a region not only challenged the state but also took central power. In the case of the Donetsk Region in eastern Ukraine, the local regime maintained control via a system of linkages between other regions, and between the subnational level and the national government in Kiev. However, it then moved successfully to extend this control over both subnational regions and the national government due to external linkages with the Russian Federation using the vehicle of the Party of Regions. It is the presence of these external linkages, as well as the role of domestic elite actors engaging in such relationships, that allowed for this unique situation. These linkages resulted in accumulated Russian leverage, parts of which were activated following the ouster of the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych in early 2014. Along with domestic reasons such as the presence of alternative groups of elites, Russian leverage had an impact on, for example, why separatist movements flourished in some regions while they failed in others.
Analytical pyrolysis properties of waste medium-density fiberboard and particle board
한태욱,김승도,김영민,Chuichi Watanabe,Norio Teramae,박영권,이윤희 한국공업화학회 2015 Journal of Industrial and Engineering Chemistry Vol.32 No.-
Medium-density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board (PB) showed similar pyrolysis characteristics. Thermogravimetric analysis displayed the main weight loss between 200 and 400 8C, continued up to600 8C. The activation energy (Ea) values at each conversion were in the range of 166–372 kJ/mol for MDFand 161–325 kJ/mol for PB and indicated independent reactions of hemicellulose, cellulose, lignin andchar stabilization. Isothermal pyrolysis produced hemicellulose pyrolyzates at 300 8C. The mainproducts at 400 8C had similar distribution between MDF and PB. At 600 8C, gas products were increaseddue to the secondary cracking of pyrolyzates.
Pyrolysis kinetic analysis of poly(methyl methacrylate) using evolved gas analysis-mass spectrometry
한태욱,김용민,Atsushi Watanabe,Norio Teramae,박영권,김승도 한국화학공학회 2017 Korean Journal of Chemical Engineering Vol.34 No.4
The results of evolved gas analysis-mass spectrometry (EGA-MS) analysis were used for the kinetic analysis of poly-methyl methacrylate (PMMA) pyrolysis for the first time. Various kinetic methods, such as model-free, integral master-plots, and model-fitting methods, have been applied to derive the kinetic parameters (activation energy, pre-exponential factor and reaction model). The PMMA pyrolysis reaction mechanism was suggested to occur via a single step unzipping reaction producing methyl methacrylate (MMA) as the main pyrolyzate from the kinetic analysis results and mass spectrum obtained from the EGA-MS measurements. The kinetic parameters derived from modelfree method combined with the integral master-plots method were comparable to those obtained from the peak property method (PPM). The theoretical curve derived from the kinetic results by the PPM was also well matched with the experimental thermal conversion curve using the EGA-MS measurements.
