        도심 공원의 음 풍경 디자인을 위한 실험적 연구

        This study is an experimental study to introduce the soundscape design in urban parks Objective 4 urban parks were surveyed And four or three subdivision area in these parks were investigated the sound source frequently to be heard and the degree of satisfaction for visual and auditory atmosphere measuring the sound level in 5 minute subjective response to soundscape for each subdivision area were earned out using 7 scale S D method based on pair of adjectives In order to recognized the effect environment sound (bird Sing, sweet ecological music, and nature sounds)for enriching the present soundscape, this study analyzed the subjective response for soundscape before and after providing environmental sound Result of the evaluation of public perception and their sound were vaned at the each subdivision area, which represented the special characteristics of the urban parks The score for image of the places were always higher than those of the sounds, thus visual Image were affected more positively than auditory image The effect of the environmental sound usually resulted in improvement of the subjective cvaluation at cach subdivision area Factor analyzing of the 25 korean vocabulary for using S D method could be induced the appropriate three factors "impression", "calmness" and "delight" These factors can be used for soundscape design of sound sources and images to provide

      • 영아식의 종류에 따른 영아의 철분과 아연의 섭취량 및 혈청 농도 고찰 : a review

        Although breast milk is the best food for infants, there will always remain a need for good substitutes when breastfeeding is not possible. Most of these substitutes are based on cow milk, but soy milk has been used as an alternative. It is necessary to ascertain that rearing infants on these formulas yields results comparable to those obtained by breastfeeding. Absorption of trace elements such as iron and zinc is well known to be higher from breast milk than from cow milk formula while absorption from soy formula is lower than from cow milk formula. The studies on the contents of iron and zinc in breast milk, cow milk formula and soy formula, and the intakes and blood levels of iron and zinc in infants fed breast milk, cow milk formula and soy formula, and the intakes and blood levels of iron and zinc in infants fed breast milk and cow milk formula were reviewd. The contents of iron and zinc in artificial formulas were higher than those in breast milk, and the intakes lf iron and zinc in infants fed cow milk, formula were higher than those in infants fed breast milk, However, the blood levels of iron in infants fed cow milk formula were significantly lower than those in infants fed breast milk, and there was no significant difference in the blood levels of zinc between infants fed cow milk formula and those fed breast milk. No results have been reported on the iron and zinc nutriture in Korean infants fed soy formula. More research should be focused on the potential consequences of excessive intakes of iron and zinc in infants fed soy formula as well as cow milk formula.

      • 자동측정망 데이터를 이용한 국내 항공기소음 실태 조사

        Currently domestic criteria for the aircraft noise is being adapted WECPNL(weighted equivalent continuous perceived noise level), while internationally preferred method is L_(dn) which is originated from L_(eq) and can evaluate even environmental noise. WECPNL used in domestic as a evaluation method is only for the aircraft noise. It is, therefore, not adequate for the evaluation of residents' injury, moreover, it is very difficult to measure the aircraft noise with WECPNL due to the complicated calculating procedures as long as automatic measuring system is not used This study aims to propose alternative evaluation method for the aircraft noise. To achieve this purpose, the data measured by automatic measuring system in 5 places among domestic airports from 1998 to 2002 were gathered and calculated with three evaluation method ; WECPNL, L_(eq) and L_(dn) and the results calculated from different methods were compared and analyzed. At the same time, it was investigated problems generated from the actual operating of the automatic measuring system and that remedy was presented.

        The interaction of insulin-like growth factors(IGF) with the IGF-I receptor promotes cell proliferation and survival. The activation of the IGF-I receptor by its ligands IGF-I, IGF-II, and insulin plays critical role in growth and development. The specific role of the IGF-I receptor in development has been recently revealed that targeted disruption of the IGF-I receptor gene resulted in profound fetal growth retardation. Most cell types require IGF-I for growth in culture. In addition to its role in cell cycle progression. IGH-I promotes cell survival has not been clarified. IGF-I may directly prevent apoptosis. However, IGF-I could also promote cell culture survival by survival inducing the prokiferation of viable cells within a damaged cell population. When exposed to the etoposide, R+ cells that constitutively overexpressed the IGF-IR arrested in S phase and subsequently underwent apoptosis as determined by the appearance of the pre-G1 apoptotic peak when studied by the flowcytometry and the charateristic internucleosomal fragmentation of DNA. The addition of IGF-I markly inhibited etoposide-induced apoptosis in a concentration-dependant manner. IGF-I was less effective in preventing apoptosis in parental R-and TC4 cells. These results demonstrate an important role for the IGF-I receptor as an inhibitor of apoptosis, independent of its mitogenic actions. These findings establish the relationship between IGF-IR levels and the extents of apoptosis. The TC4 cells expressing the truncated IGF-I receptor with a 108-amino-acid C-terminal truncation exhibited a dramatically impared ability to prevent the apoptosis, indication that truncated IGF-I receptor lose the ability to prevent the apoptosis at the intramolecular level.

      • 교내 매점 유무에 따른 고등학생의 간식섭취행동

        This study was carried out to investigate snacking behaviors among high school students according to the presence of a school snack shop and gender. Questionnaires were distributed to 280 students in two schools with snack shop and two schools without snack shop. The data of 257 students were analyzed using SPSS program (version 17.0). Students in schools with snack shop had meals significantly less frequently as well as breakfast, and snack more frequently than those in schools without snack shop. While 47.4% of the students in schools with snack shop had snack in the morning, 58.4% of the students in schools without snack shop had snack after 6 in the evening. When snack intake behavior outside the school was compared according to the presence of snack shop, frequency of snack purchase outside the school was significantly higher in schools without snack shop. When frequency and kind of snack intake in schools with or without snack shop were compared, frozen dessert showed the highest intake frequency inside and outside the schools in schools with snack shop, while milk and dairy products showed the highest frequency outside the schools in schools without snack shop. The results show that eating behavior including meals and snack were different between the students in schools with and without snack shop. Healthy eating habits should be guided through nutrition education about proper snack selection and moderate intake of snack.

      • 安東을 中心한 慶北地域의 夏節期 氣溫特性(Ⅰ)

        The Andong region that includes Youngju, Bonghwa, Yechon, and Uisung is located in a basin bounded in the northeast and northwest by the Mt. Ranges of Taeback and Soback, and because of the closeness to Andong and Imha dams it has come to experience a large variation in climate. Due to an excessive amount of evaporation of moistures from open surfaces of these dams in the region it has not been possible to avoid heavy fogs, and because of the cooling effect accompanying the evaporation it has come to experience greater variation in temperature. The summer climate of the region may be characterized as follows : 1) The temperatures fall in the eastern coastal region that includes Uljin, Youngduk, and Pohang during the summer when there is a low pressure developed m the southern part of Tonghae following the pattern of high pressure in the north and low pressure in the south induced by the northeastern air current, but the temperatures fall frequently in the interior region that includes Andong, Yougju, Bonghwa, Yechon, Uisung, Sunsan, Kimchon, and Taegu when there is a low pressure region developed there following the pattern of high pressure in the east and low pressure in the west. 2) The temperatures fall equally in both the coastal and interior regions when there is a cold front, spread across east-west line, moving rapidly southward from central region due to a high pressure in the north and a low pressure in the south, and in the interior region the temperatures fall quite rapidly-this trend continues for the next two to three days. 3) The highest temperature during the summer in Kyungbuk region is due to wind effect that may have been resulted from the Foehn-phenomena with the Taeback Mt. Range as boundry. 4) The temperature rises when daily variation is of the pattern of A or B, but the temperature falls when the daily variation is of the pattern C or D. The temperatures fall in the western coast and rise in the interior region when the high pressure region forms a tounge pattern with the axis along the eastern coast. When the axis of the high pressure region is along the western coast, the temperatures rise in both regions, and the amount of rise is comparable, thus creating the pattern E. These five patterns of variation may be considered as the characteristics of the summer weather in the Kyungbuk region.

        The study of Electroluminescence has been begun with that the two Germans, B. Gudden & R. W. Pohl in 1920 examined the remaining lights by dint of adding Electric Field at the fluorescent substance, and from 1952 the study became brisk, in 1960 made a peak, and afterward it was diminished. The above facts were appeared through H. E. Ivey`s investigation. The cause was it that the light-efficiency and the brightness were very pessimistic, though the beginning of EL-Study was given in the development of illumination. In 1950, however, with the initiative that C. W. Jerome of Sylvania Co. deviced and announced EL-Lamp, EL-Fluorescent substances were embed and merchandised as EL-Panels, and after a while it was applied to EL-Lamps, Expression Apparatuses, Light Amplifier, Logic Circuit and so on, with which the use frequency got high, and it has been developed as a promising Electronic Industry. But in our country, considering the various conditions, in order to find out the possibility of EL-Production within the home country, Impurity was introduced to ZnS powder, EL of ZnS : Cu, Cl & ZnS : Cu, Mn, Cl could be manufactured, and surveying the Voltage Characteristics, the Frequency Characteristics, and the Spectral Response of the manufactured things, the fundamental technique-problems about the composition of ZnS powder, the introduction of impurity, the formation of thin-thickness, and the construction of Cell, etc were solved gradually. 1. The quantity of Cu must commonly be more one order than in the use of Photoluminescence, as a whole 10(-3)gm,atm/mole ZnS is fitted, and Mn suitable in about 10 times of Cu. 2. Yellow color must dope Cu as well as Mn, when the quantity of Cu fixed to a certain amount, in case that the quantity of Mn is decreased, it be turned into Yellow color, if it is increased, it be taken Orange color. 3. In vacuum flowing HzS gas and baking at the moment, it is said that EL of which brightness is high, but in the air we can secure ZnS : Cu, Cl EL. only. 4. In referring to the conditions 1, 2, 3, I can infer that EL-manufacture if possible in our country.

      • 사용후핵연료 차세대관리공정 장비의 내방사선 요건 분석

        For hot operation of advanced spent fuel conditioning process(ACP), the analysis of radiation-resistant Requirements effect and the system design process are required to design equipment to operate to operate reliably in a gamma radiation environment such as hot cell. To analysis the effects of radiation for ACP, we used the SCALE codes which were certified by Nuclear Regulatory Commission(NRC). The source term was calculated which reflects the features of target nuclear fuels using ORIGEN-S, a module of the SCALE code, and the gamma dose rates were calculated by using the QADS modules, considering the geometry of process equipment respectively. the results are shows that the value was maximum 3.03 ㏉/h from the rod storage box in hot cell, maximum 0.6 ㏉/h from the metallizer, and maximum 72.0 ㏉/h from the vol-oxidizer. Considering those values, the design methods for shielding and repositioning the major equipments and components should be induced, and, the preventive maintenance for components before failure actually occurs should be minimized the effects of radiation.

        한국어판 지역사회 치매선별 검사도구[CSID-K]의 개발

        Objectives : Community Screening Interview for Dementia (CSID) is a reliable screening instrument for dementia, irrespe-ctive of educational level and cultural differences among various populations. This study aimed to develop the Korean version of CSID (CSID-K) for screening of dementia in Korean community residing old people. Methods : Study sample consisted of a dementia patient group and three control groups (depression, education, no education), each of them was composed of 30 community residing elders. CSID-K was administered, and demographic characteristic, depression, and cognitive function were investigated. Results : Split half reliability (Guttmans'), internal consistency (Cronbach's α ), and inter-rater and test-retest (two weeks) reliabilities of the CSID-K were excellent. Scores on the CSID-K were significantly correlated with other measures for cognitive function, In addition, scores on the CSID-K were significantly different between the dementia patient group and three control groups. Conclusion : CSI-K was a reliable and valid instrument to screen dementia in Korean community residing old people, It could be used not only in community settings but also in clinical settings and for cross-cultural researches.
