The major characteristics of the developed corn hybrids were compared at each different planting time; 1st time(April 28) and 2nd time(August 20), respectively. Among traits surveyed, stem height showed highly at 1st time than 2nd, while ear height, stem diameter and ear length were similar at two times. Sugar content of the used hybrids showed highly at 2nd planting time than 1st. Pericarp thickness was also high at 2nd planting time. Especially, among hybrids CNU99 was the highest in stem height and ear length, CNU11 and CNU56 were high in sugar content, and CNU51 and CNU124 were thiner than other hybrids in pericarp thickness. Accordingly, these hybrids will be planted and recognized in 2nd yield trial for superior corn hybrid selection.

This study was carried out to find a botanical and antioxidant characteristics in CNU rice lines developed in the crop Genetics & Breeding Lab. At (CNU) the CNU lines including CNU-Hinhchal, were planted one plant per hill by hand by 30 ㎝×15 ㎝ density at CNU paddy rice farm on May 11, 2011. Clum length of Shinsunchalbyeo as check among used line was longest than others, while that of CNU-114 was shortest among lines. For the number of tillers per plant, CNU-Hinhchal was higher as 20 than other lines but CNU-112 and Shinsunchalbyeo were lowest as 12. The number of spikelets per plant was highest in CNU-Hinhchal as 1,800 but that of Milyang 225 was lowest among the used lines.

This study was carried out to develop a new sweet sorghum for biomass by using mutagen, gamma-ray. Seeds treated were gained from National Genetic Resource Center, RDA, and these seeds were irradiated with gamma-ray (400Gy) at KAERI. CNUS-M113 and CNUS-M134 among 169 collected accessions were evaluated a promising line for biomass due to increasing of fresh and dry weight. In addition, this line was high in stem height, number of tiller and fresh weight per plant than check, Hwang-gum chal sorghum. Accodingly, this line demanded for leading variety the production test and cultivation adaptability in future years.

ICT 융합기술을 활용한 암반특성 예측기능을 가진 유압 브레이커 개발에 관한 연구

고유가, 환경규제 등의 국제무역환경 변화에 따라 수출주력상품인 유압 브레이커의 고부가가치화를 위하여 지능형 전자제어유압시스템 분야인 ICT 융합기술을 활용하여 암반특성을 예측하고 최적모드(다단형)로 구동하는 지능형 파쇄기술 및 에너지 효율을 극대화할 수 있는 유압 브레이커 개발에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구에서는 암반의 강도에 따라 최적의 타격력을 제공하기 위해 근접센서를 이용해 암반 타격 시 피스톤의 하강 깊이를 측정하고 이를 통해 암반의 특성을 판별하여 타격력을 결정하는 피스톤 스트로크의 길이를 솔레노이드 밸브를 이용해 제어하였다. 다단 타격시스템을 위해 컨트롤러와 디스플레이/조작장치를 개발하였고, 무선통신을 이용하여 상호 정보교환이 가능하도록 하였다. 최종적으로 암반 강도에 따라 3단으로 타격할 수 있는 제어시스템을 개발하였고, 실차실험을 통해 이를 검증하였다. We have carried out the development for hydraulic breaker which can be operated by optimal mode with ICT convergence technology. This developed system can predict the rock properties. Moreover, this system can maximize the energy efficient with intelligent control of hydraulic system. In order to provide the optimal impact force, this system can measure the descending depth of piston with the proximity sensor and discriminate the rock properties with the measuring data and control the piston stroke using solenoid valve eventually. In addition, we have developed the controller, display module and operating device for cascade (multi-level impact) system and applied the module which can communicate each system by wireless communications. In conclusion, the control system which can control the multi-level impact in accordance with strength of rocks has been developed and approved by several field tests.

현대 사회에서 ‘멘토링’은 시간적 기회비용 소모가 크고 효과적인 멘토링이 되지 못한다는 문제에도 불구하고 다양한 분야로 범위를 넓히고 있다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 유사도 측정 알고리즘과 아이템 기반 협업 필터링을 사용한 멘토-멘티 매칭 시스템을 제안한다. 유사도 측정을 통해 멘토와 멘티는 매칭을 위한 시간적 기회비용을 줄이고 유사성이 깊은 멘토-멘티간 멘토링 효과가 높다는 연구결과에 의거 효과적인 멘토링을 할 수 있다. 또한 추가적으로 신규 멘티를 위한 아이템 기반 협업 필터링을 이용하여 멘토의 추천 정확도를 높혔다. 효과적인 매칭 시스템이 되기 위해 시스템에 정보가 쌓이는 시간이 필요하며 멘토 멘티가 생각하는 우선순위에 대한 가중치에 대하여 더욱 연구할 계획이다. In modern society, "mentorship" has expanded to a variety of areas despite the issues of match-making and ineffective instruction. In order to solve these problems, my team proposes a mentor-mentee pairing system that uses a similarity measurement algorithm and parameter based collaborative filtering. Mentors and mentees reduce time opportunity costs by using similarity measurements based on studies that show the effectiveness of tutorship between compatible persons. In addition, using parameter based collaborative filtering increases a mentor"s recommendation accuracy for new mentees. In order to become an effective matching system, it needs to accumulate information to further study and improve the weighing of priorities considered by the mentor and mentee.
인공 신경망과 퍼지를 이용한 최대 전력점 추적을 위한 모델

Photovoltaic power generation requires MPPT algorithm to track stable and efficient maximum power output power point according to external changes such as solar radiation and temperature. This study implemented a model that could track MPP more quickly than original MPPT algorithm using artificial neural network. The proposed model finds the current and voltage of MPP using the original MPPT algorithm for various combinations of insolation and temperature for training data of artificial neural networks. The acquired MPP data was learned using the input node as insolation and temperature and the output node as the current and voltage. The Experiment results show tracking time of the original algorithms P&O, InC and Fuzzy were respectively 0.428t, 0.49t and 0.4076t for the 0t~0.3t range, and MPP tracking time of the proposed model was 0.32511t and it is 0.1t faster than the original algorithms.

Sinonasal malignant tumors comprise less than 1% of all cancers and 3% of all malignant tumors of the head and neck, which explains a lack of large series addressing the clinical characteristics and management of these tumors. Neck node metastasis occurs in only about 7% to 15% of malignant tumors compared with other head and neck cancers. A 90-yr-old woman presented with left palpable neck mass and right nasal mass occupying nasal cav-ity. Fine needle aspiration biopsy of left neck mass results in metastatic squamous cell carcinoma(SCC). PET/CT shows intense FDG uptake in right nasal cavity with bone invasion. Histopathologic examination of excised lesion in the right nasal cavity revealed SCC. We report here on a primary sinonasal SCC with contralateral lymph node metastasis.
Toxoplasmic Encephalitis in Patient with Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome

Toxoplasmic encephalitis (TE) is an opportunistic infection found in immunocompromised patients and TE related cerebral mass lesion is often reported in acquired immunodeficiency acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) patients. However, incidence of TE related AIDS in Korea is still rare and is unfamiliar to neurosurgeons. Differential diagnosis is needed to rule out other brain lesions. A 39-year-old man visited the emergency room with rapid progressive left hemiparesis. Magnetic resonance imaging showed a ring-enhanced mass lesion in his right frontal lobe. Human immunodeficiency virus and Toxoplasma gondii immunoglobulin G were tested positive by a serologic test. We report here a rare case of patient with TE related AIDS.
