The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Taekwondo participation on self-respect, happiness, and consideration based upon gender, training experience, training duration, training time, and training frequency among elementary school students(n=300). The data were analysed by using SPSS ver 21.0 for Windows. Frequency analysis was utilized for socio-demographic variables. To analyze the differences among variables such as gender and other behavioral variables, t-test and ANOVAs were used. Findings are as follows: First, self-respect and happiness were found to be significantly different according to gender. Second, significant differences were found in social self-respect, learning activities, friend relationship, and consideration of others. Third, social respect, general respect, learning activities, psychological comfort, and friend relationship were found significantly different according to the training duration. However, significant differences were not found in consideration factor. Fourth, social respect, earning activities, friend relationship, psychological comfort, and consideration were found significantly different according to the training frequency.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of leisure and life satisfaction on euphoria for Taekwondo students. The measurement method was based on a questionnaire through convenience sampling method, A total of 500 questionnaires were distributed to several Taekwondo studios located in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do and 422 copies were used as final subjects of this study. After processing the data T-test, analysis of frequency, correlation analysis, regression analysis using the SPSSWIN PASW 18.0 the result was as follow. First, Leisure (Physical and environmental) satisfaction has a significant influence on Life style satisfaction. Second, Leisure (Physical, psychological and environmental) satisfaction has a significant influence on euphoria. Third, Life style satisfaction has a significant influence on euphoria. Fourth, Among leisure satisfaction, only environmental satisfaction was significantly different between gender.

Temperature downshift from 37℃ to 10℃ or 18℃ induces over 10 cold shock proteins in Escherichia coli. We have reported that the synthesis of RecA, one of the cold shock proteins, was increased two-fold upon cold shock when it was expressed in multicopy plasmid. In an attempt to understand the molecular mechanism of cold shock response, the expression of the recA gene was examined at transcriptional level in this study. Northern blotting and chloramphenicol acetyl transferase activity from the recA-CAT fusion plasmid revealed that the recA transcription was increased 2∼3 fold by cold shock, indicating that the cold shock response is at the level of transcription. The gel mobility shift experiment suggested that cold shock might induce the transcription by releasing the regulatory factor(s) from the recA promoter region.

저온 충격단백질의 생성기작을 분자수준에서 이해하고자 저온 충격단백질의 하나로 알려진 RecA를 선택하여 이것의 저온 충격에 의한 생성 증가기작을 연구하였다. Northern 브럿에 의한 전사체 양의 비교 및 융합된 CAT(크로람페니콜 아세틸기 전달효소) 유전자의 발현을 통하여 저온 충격에 의해 recA 유전자의 발현이 2배 증가되는 것이 관찰되었다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 저온 충격 대응기작이 전사단계에서 이루어짐을 알수 있었다. 또한 저온 충격에 관여하는 조절인자의 존재여부를 조사하기 위하여 recA 유전자의 촉진유전자 부위에 결합하는 단백질에 대한 실험결과 recA 유전자의 촉진유전자에 조절인자가 결함하는 것이 저온 충격에 의해 오히려 억제되는 것으로 나타났다. The cold shock proteins induced by temperature shift from 37℃ to 10℃ were assayed by the two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis after the proteins were pulse-labeled with ^(35)S-methionine. The cold shock proteins were quite stable even if the temperature was returned to 37℃. The cloned recA gene was used to understand the molecular mechanism of the cold shock response. Synthesis of RecA protein from the recA gene harbored on the multicopy plasmid was increased upon cold shock, suggesting that the cold shock response involves the regulation by unlimited cellular factors such as RNA polymerase.

정상적인 온도에서 생장하고 있는 박테리아 배양액을 저온으로 옮겨 주었을 때 생성이 증가되는 단백질의 양상을 1차원 및 2차원 전기영동에 의해 조사하였다. 이러한 저온 충격단백질들의 생성은 충격을 받은 온도에 따라 다소 다르게 나타났으며 일단 생성된 저온 충격단백질들은 $37^{\circ}C$ 로 다시 온도를 옮겼을 때에도 안정한 것으로 관찰되었다. 저온 충격단백질의 생성기작을 이해하기 위해 저온 충격단백질로 알려진 RecA의 유전자를 pUC19에 클로닝한 후 재조합 플라스미드를 함유하는 군주들에서 저온 충격에 의해 RecA 단백질의 생성이 증가됨을 분자수준에서 증명하였다. 이 트라코나졸은 약물역동학적으로 피부 각질에 친화성이 높고 투약 종료 후에도 4주간 지속되며 고용량 단기간 투여가 효과적이라는 것이 알려지면서 각화형의 수장부/족부 백선 치료에도 고용량단기간 투여법이 시도되고 있다. 본 연구는 각화형의 수장부/족부 백선 환자 97명을 대상으로 이트라코나졸 1일 400 mg을 7일간 투여하여 효과 및 안전성을 평가하였다. 투약 전, 투약 후, 투약 종료 4주후에 임상적, 진균학적으로 효과를 평가하여 임상적으로 73.8%에서 중등도 이상의 개선, 진균학적으로는 84.5%의 완치율을 얻었다. 97.6%의 환자에서 양호한 내약성을 나타내었고, 2.4%에서 위장관 증상, 피부 발진 등이 발생하였으나 특별한 치료 없이 호전되었다. 이상과 같은 결과로 각화형의 수장부/족부 백선 치료에 이트라코나졸 400mg 7일 투여는 효과적이면서 동시에 안전한 치료법임을 확인하였다. 위암에서의 Helicobacter pylori 와 p53 단백 발현과의 관계

Background/Aims: Epithelial cell proliferation during Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection is likely to promote neoplastic transformation in combination with additional factors such as genetic alterations and oncoprotein overexpression. Mutation of p53 might be occurred from overexpression of it. The aim of this study was to demonstrate the relationship between expression of p53 protein and H. pylori associated gastric cancer. Methods: H. pylori infection was studied in fifty-four cases of gastric adenocarcinoma. Among them, 38 cases were surgically resected and remaining cases were endoscopically resected. All of them were examined by immunohistological stain for detection of p53 protein. Results: H. pylori positivity was 46.3% of 54 cases with gastric adenocarcinoma. In 26 case of early gastric cancer, it was 69.2% and it was 21.4% in advanced gastric cancer. The p53 protein was detected in 86.8% of the patients who underwent gastric cancer resection, 94.1% of the patients with H. pylori positive cancer and 81.0% of the patients with H. pylori negative cancer. The p53 expression rate was high in the patients with H. pylori positive cancer, but statistically not signifi cant. In addition, expression of p53 protein was not related with Lauren' s type of gastric cancer Conclusions: High prevalence of H. pylori infection was observed in early gastric cancer and expres sion of p53 protein was not related with H. pylori positive cancer.
