본 연구에서는 클라우드 서비스의 높은 실패율에 대하여, 어떠한 위험이 존재하는지 살펴보고, 이러한 위험을 제거하기 위한 실물 옵션, 특히 포기 옵션의 채택에 영향을 끼칠 수 있는 위험의 종류에 대하여 실증 분석을 실시하였다. 특히, 개인 차원에서 인식하는 위험의 정도가 포기 옵션의 채택에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는 지에 더하여, 조직 차원의 변수(CEO의 혁신성, 밴드웨건 효과)가 개인 차원의 효과들을 어떻게 조절하는지에 대하여 실증 분석을 실시한다. 수도권 소재 중소기업의 IT 담당자들을 대상으로 설문 조사한 내용을 바탕으로, 기술적 위험과 경제적 위험이 포기 옵션의 채택에 유의한 영향을 끼치며, CEO의 혁신성이 기술적 위험의 효과를 억제하는 조절 효과가 검증되었다. 그러나, 밴드웨건 효과는 개인 차원의 영향을 억제하는 조절 효과는 실증적으로 유의하지 않았다. In this Paper, We Empirically Investigated what kind of Risks Exist that Drive high Failure rate of cloud Services, and whether Perception of such risks leads to the Adoption of the Abandonment Option of cloud Services. Such risk Perception is the Individual-level Factor, and we Empirically Tested whether Organizational Contexts such as CEO`s Innovativeness and Dandwagon Effect can Moderate the Positive Effects of such Individual-level Risk Perception on the Adoption of Abandonment option. We Collected Survey data from IT Professionals Working for the Small and Medium-sized Companies near Seoul and found that the Perceived Technical Risk and Economic Risk Influence the Adoption of Abandonment Option. Out of two Organizational Contexts, only CEO`s Innovativeness Moderates the Positive Influence of Technical Risk on the Adoption of Abandonment Option. Organizational Factors Demonstrated very Limited Moderation Effect on the Influence of Individual-level Perception of Cloud Service Risk on the Adoption of Abandonment Option.

Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a multifactorial neurodegenerativedisease manifesting mitochondrial damagesand neuroinfl ammation. Qi is defi ned as a natural power thatcan regulate the energy fl ow in Oriental medicine, whereasmitochondria generate energy power in Western medicine. We investigated whether Qi -enhancing component in Orientalherb medicines could activate mitochondrial activities. Quercetin was found as a major bioactive compound inmost Qi -activating Oriental herb medicines through onlinesearch for active compounds in several Oriental Medicinedatabases. We then investigated if quercetin could reverse1-methyl-4-phenylpyridinium (MPP + )-induced mitochondrialdysfunction and lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-inducedneuroinfl ammation. Mitochondrial activities were monitoredbased on complex 1 NADH dehydrogenase activities, ATPcontents, mitochondrial membrane potential, cellular/mitochondrialreactive oxygen species, and oxygen consumptionrate in SH-SY5Y cells. Quercetin at concentration up to 20 μg/ml was not cytotoxic to SH-SY5Y cells. Pre-treatmentwith quercetin signifi cantly protected mitochondrialdamages in 1 mM MPP + - or 100 ng/ml LPS-treated cells. Quercetin increased expression levels of tyrosine hydroxylaseand mitochondria controlling proteins. When in vivoeff ects of quercetin were assessed by immunohistochemicalstaining of tissue sections from LPS-injected mice brains,quercetin reduced the activation of microglia and astrocytesin the hippocampus and substantia nigra of LPS-injectedmice. Our data suggest that Qi -activating quercetin mightbe therapeutically eff ective for neuroinfl ammation-mediatedneurodegeneration by alleviating mitochondrial damages.

Plant matrix metalloproteases (MMPs) are a family of apoplastic metalloproteases closely related to human matrilysins. Up-regulation of Nicotiana benthamiana matrix metalloprotease 1 (NMMP1) expression by treatment with pathogens, ethephon and aging indicates that the gene is related to plant defense and the aging process through ethylene signaling. NMMP1 expression was higher than in normal growth leaves following infection with an incompatible pathogen Pseudomonas syringae pv. tomato T1 or a compatible pathogen P. syringae pv. tabaci and in aged leaves. Transient overexpression of NMMP1in N. benthamiana leaves lowered the growth of P. syringae pv. tabaci. However, NMMP1-silenced leaves showed increased growth of P. syringae pv. tabaci. These data strongly suggest that NMMP1 in N. benthamiana is a defense related gene, which is positively regulated by ethylene.

Purpose – This study investigates the effects consumer perceptions of wine attributes have on repurchase intention. It examineshow wine purchase channels (online or offline) influence perceptions about wine attributes and repurchase intention. Research design, data, and methodology – A total of 390 responses from Florida residents over 21 were collected using online surveys. Responses were analyzed using exploratory factor analysis to identify the underlying wine attribute factors. Multiple regression and multi-group analysis were employed to test the hypotheses. Results – Results revealed that consumer perceptions of wine attributes (sensory, origin, reputation, and price point) significantly influence their repurchase intention. Additionally, the effects of wine attributes on repurchase intentions were found to be significantly different based on the channel used. Findings indicated that wine attributes pertaining to reputation and price point strongly influenced repurchase behavior of online consumers, while offline wine consumers were influenced more by sensory and origin attributes. Conclusions – Study findings provide useful information for wine industry sales channels for developing new marketing strategies to effectively attract wine consumers to repurchase wine.

A new magnetic semiconductor material was synthesized to enable separation after a liquid-type photocatalysis process. Core@shell-structured $CuFeS_2@TiO_2$ magnetic nanoparticles were prepared by a combination of solvothermal and wet-impregnation methods for photocatalysis applications. The materials obtained were characterized using X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, ultraviolet-visible, photoluminescence spectroscopy, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area measurements, and cyclic voltammetry. This study confirmed that the light absorption of $CuFeS_2$ was shifted significantly to the visible wavelength compared to pure $TiO_2$. Moreover, the resulting hydrogen production from the photo-splitting methanol/water solution after 10 hours was more than 4 times on the core@shell structured $CuFeS_2@TiO_2$ nanocatalyst than on either pure $TiO_2$ or $CuFeS_2$.
