      • 고요산혈증의 위험인자 : 아산시 지역 주민을 대상으로

        Objective : Serum uric acid has now been identified as a marker for a number of metabolic and hemodynamic abnormalities. The aim of this study is to evaluate risk factors which influence hyperuricemia in the citizens of Asan. Method : The study design was cross-sectional and research subjects were 1086 citizens of Asan. General characteristics, cigarette smoking, alcohol consumption, and past history were obtained by interview using a structural questionnaire. Also, we measured height, weight and blood pressure, and serum uric acid of the subjects. Results : The mean serum uric acid level was 5.27 ㎎/㎗ in men and 4.01 ㎎/㎗, in women, In the multiple logistic regression analysis, statically significant risk factors of hyperuhcemia were gender, body mass index, blood lead concentration, and serum creatinine. Conclusion : Our results suggest that gender, body mass index, blood lead concentration, and serum creatinine might be the most important risk factors of hyperurcemia. Education program as well as routine check-up for serum uric acid was highly recommended for the effective prevention of hyperuricemia.

      • 의료기사의 누적 외상성 증후군 증상에 관한 조사

        The cumulative trauma disorder is a disease group of musculoskeletal systems developed by repeated work, which became greate concern in occupational health problem in Korea recently. Many paramedicals working in the department of Laboratory, Radiology, and Rehabilitation of the hospital have been engaged in the simple repetitive hard works causing cumulative trauma disorder. This is the study on the cumulative trauma disorder in those medical technicians. Total 285 (180 male, 105 female) medical technicians and office workers working in the hospital were surveyed with the self-administered questionnaires. They included the questions such as age, sex, marital status, education, height, weight, smoking and drinking history as a general characteristics and work department, kind of work, work duration, work conditions as a work characteristics. And also subjective symptoms related with the work in each region of body area were questioned. Among the work conditions, there were significant differences between medical technicians and office workers (e.g., high in medical technicians) in daily works lifting patients or heavy equipments, works moving continuously and rapidly, works with uncomfortable position, works keeping neck and upper arms in uneasy position. Complained rate of subjective symptoms was significantly higher in physical therapist and in the group of work duration over 10 years. The significant symptoms were pain, abnormal sensation, burning sensation. The significant factors affecting the subjective symptoms were female and work duration over 10 years for wrist area, female and current smoking for knee or ankle area, physical therapist, work duration between 6 and 9 years for lumbar area, female and radiologic technicians and work duration over 6 years for shoulder area. None was significant for neck area.

      • Polymer Light Emitting Diode의 발광특성 연구 : A study on electoluminescence properties of PLED with poly [2-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-5-methoxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene]

        In order to know how the [2-(2'-ethylhexyloxy)-5-methoxy-1,4-phenylenevinylene] (MEH-PPV) layer works in organic light emitting diode, two different types of devices were fabricated, which are MEH-PPV single layer devices and MEH-PPV/tris (8-hydroxy-quinoline)aluminium(Alq3) bilayer devices. On the indium-tin-oxide(ITO) glass anode MEH-PPV layer was first spin-coated, and the Alq3 layer and the aluminium(Al) anode were vapor-deposited sequentially. The devices shows a trend that has lower current, luminous efficiency in case the thickness of the device is larger. Some bilayer devices, however, show more improved performance than other devices of smaller total thickness. This results were discussed on the basis of improved exciton formation resulting from balanced carrier transport.

      • 개 원발성 면역매개성 혈소판 감소증 증례

        A 13-year-old, castrated male, Maltese-dog was admitted to the Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital of Chungnam National University with the history fo petechiae. On physical examination, she had petechiae and ecchymoses at her back, bilateral inguinal region, and inner part of ear pinna. CBC indicated neutrophilia and severe thrombocytopenia. A few platelets, no autoagglutination of RBC, and no spherocyte were observed. Coagulation profile demonstrated normal PT, and aPTT. No significant findings was not found on serum biochemical profile and electolytes test. FNA of a splenic mass which was found on the abdominal radiograph and sonograph demonstrated extramedullary hematopoiesis, Proteinuria was observed on urinarysis. Primary immune-mediated thrombocytopenia was diagnosed by ruling out of other underlying disease, severe thrombocytopenia, and response to immunosuppressive therapy. Prednisone and antibiotics were administered orally and parenterally, respectively. After altering prednisone to azathioprine, the number of platelets was recovered to normal range and petechiae and ecchymoses were improved.

        The Korean Neuropsychiatic Association (KNPA) was founded in 1945 and has now grown to over 2000 members as of 2003. The Association's academic meeting has also been increasing in size every year. To further develop the academic meeting of the KNPA, the task force team conducted this project. We suggest several points based on analysing the abstracts of the meeting that has conducted during the last 5 years, the survey results performed at the 2002 annual meeting, the annual meeting of the American Psychiatric Association, and the academic activities of a Korean medical assoction, the Korean Society of Otolaryngology.

        인장부재를 이용하는 건축구조의 구성형식과 특성

        Tension members have a lot of advantages because they have high strength and can use flexible materials like cables which are able to enforce pre-stress force. The structure systems composed with tension members seem to be called the Tension Structure System, their formations and characteristics in architectures were investigated. The tension structure system were classified into tension main system, vector system and tension supported bending system, comprehensively. And they were also set up several types with respect to composition of line members and surface members each in detail. The following characteristics of architecture with tension structure was presented through investigation of constructed examples. Tension structures have good structural capacity and were accomplished in various scale and purposes since 1950's. Especially, each type of tension structure system has distinguishable architectural characteristics in their scales and purposes, respectively. And the characteristics were also presented by distribution of constructed years.

        어류에 발생하는 Mycobacterium 속 세균성 질병에 대하여

        Mycobacterium 속 균은 일반적으로 Gram 양성 및 음성균의 세포벽에서 관찰되는 구조 및 성분과 차이가 나며, 장시간 동안 배양해야 하는 등의 특성이 있다. Mycobacterium속 세균의 세포벽에는 다량의 mycolic acid가 함유되어 일반 염색법으로느 염색이 잘되지 않으나 일단 염색되면 산이나 알칼리에 탈색되지 않는 성질을 가지고 있으므로 항산성균이다. 그람 양성 간균, 비운동성, 호기성이며 아포는 없고 발육이 느리다. 그러므로 이러한 균의 배양, 분리 그리고 동정에는 Gram 양성 및 음성균에서 수행하는 일반적인 생화학 및 생리학적 방법 외의 다양한 시험들이 필요하다. Atexander(1913)에 의하여 'piscine tuberculosis'로 보고된 후 어류에 피해를 주는 여러 종류의 Mycobacterium 속의 세균군이 보고되었다. 최근까지 해수어와 담수어 40과 151종 이상의 어류에서 감영 가능성이 보고되어 있으며 특히, 열대성 담수어와 해수어, 온대성 담수어류 및 관상어류 등에서 주로 보고되었다. 어류에 감염을 일으키는 균으로는 M. marinum, M. chelonae 및 M. fortuitum이 잘 알려져 있으나, 최근 어류뿐만 아니라 양서류, 파충류 및 갑각류 등에서 M. simiae, M. scrofulaceum, M. poriferae, M. kansasii 및 M. peregrinum 등과 미국의 Chesapeake 만의 자연산 sea bass에서 Mycobacterium chesapeake sp. nov.이 보고되었다. 어류의 mycobacteriosis는 오염된 먹이나 수중 부유물질에 부착된 병원체의 어체 상처 접촉에 의하여 수평적으로 확산될 수 있다. 감염된 어류는 먹이 섭취 불량, 운동성 저하, 복수 저류로 인한 복부팽만 등의 외부증상과 신장, 비장 및 간 등의 육아종 형성 등 전신적, 만성적 그리고 진행성 병변을 보인다. 어류에 질병을 일으키는 Mycobacterium sp는 65kDa과 <14kDa의 분자량을 가진 ECP를 생산하며, 세균 종에 따라 mucinase, lipase 또는 RNase를 생성한다. M. marinum에 의하여 생성된 ECP에 의한 독작용은 Vibrio anguillarum이나 Aeromonas hydrophila ECP에 비하여 약하며, 무지개송어와 나일틸라피아에 대한 LD_50은 400μg fish^-이다. 이들 병원균에 의한 감염증 발생 후 항생제를 사용하면 어류의 폐사는 줄어들지만 완전한 치료는 어려우므로 예방 조치가 필요할 것이다. 그리고 어류에 감염을 일으키는 Mycobacterium sp.에 의한 인체감염이 전세계적으로 보고되 있으며, 국내에서도 환경이나 사람의 객담(喀痰, sputum)으로부터 M. marinum과 M. fortuitum complex가 분리 보고되고 있으므로 앞으로 어류로부터의 감염에 대한 많은 연구가 필요하다. Bacteria of the genus Mycobacterium ard generally rod-shape, gram-positive, nonspore-forming, non-motile and acie-fast. They are quite different from the structures and compounds in common bacteria. The bacteria are not decolorized with acid-alcohol because of the cell walls composed of mush mycolic acis. The bacteria are relatively fastidious, growing very slowly on only a few special media. Therefore many kinds of experimental methods should be needed to isolate and identify mycobacteris besides physiological and biochemical methods commonly used. Serveral bacteria of the genue Mycobacterium have been reported after Alexander(1913)described piscine tuberculosis to refer to fish mycobacteriosis. Probablility of infection from 40 families, 151 species of fich to human hsd been reported until recent year, particularly including tropical freshwater and marine fishes, temperate frashwater fishes and aquarium fishes. The causative agents of the fish mycobacteriosis involve M. marinum, M. chelonae and M. fortuitum. Currently M. simiae. M. scrofulaceum, M. poriferae, M. kansasii and M. peregrinum have aldo been found in amphibians, reptiles and crustaceans and M. cheapeaki sp. nov. was isolated from wild sea bass in the gulf of Chesapeake, the US. The most probable route of transmission for fish mycobacteriosis is oral or through injuries of the skin which can be exacerbated by external parasites. Mycobacteriosis is a chronic progressive disease, with various clinical signs, including lack of movement coordination, abdominal swelling, inappetence, emaciation and inflammation of the skin. Interally greyish white nodules develop on various organs, particularly the liver, kidney and spleen. ECP from virulent Mycobacterium sp. has two different proteins, a 65 kDa and <14 kDa, and the ECP may contain mucinase, lipase or RNase depending on the kinds of bacteria. The ECP of M. marinum, with the LD_50 dose equated to 400㎍ fish^-1 for rainbow trout and Nile tilapia, is more toxie than those of Vibrio anguillarum and Aeromonas hydrophila. Prevention of the disease is perhaps the single most economical means to combat mycobacteriosis, since infected fish cannot be completely cured althouth the mortality may be reduced by application of antibiotics. It may be difficult to ruld out the possibility of human infection by Mycobacterium sp. which is virulent to fish, as the related reports have been described worldwide and also reported domestically on isolation of M. marinuma and M. fortuitum complex from the environment and sputum.

      • 구-막대 시스템에서 CDM을 사용한 강인한 제어기 설계

        All the controller design problem for linear time invariant dynamic system boils down to proper selecting the characteristic polynomials and numerator polynomials for concerned input-output relations. The propel selection of the characteristic polynomial is not so difficult, if only stability and response are to be satisfied, but it becomes complicated when robustness issue is added. The CDM could be a solution to this problem. CDM which is developed by Lipatov's conditions for stability and Kessler's standard form is easy to process of the controller design, especially it is more useful when the specifications are the settling time, rising time and overshoot. In this paper was used CDM design a simple but robust controller of the ball and beamsystem. The ball and beam system is highly nonlinear system. And it's linear transfer function used to design the controller. But CDM proved to be a solution to design even if there are some uncertainties like this linearized ball and beam system by simulations.

      • 산간 계곡 지역 경지정리 사업의 평가

        This study has appraised land consolidation project in the mountain stream region by way of the appraisement model of Potential Productivity Index (PPI) using GIS. PPI will provide basic elements for large-scale gathering of farm land and a substitute lot of farm land consolidation, and will maximize productivity of paddy. This study was carried out to determine relative error and correlative analysis for verifiable fitness of using cadastral map GIS DB compares determined area using GIS DB with protocol area at each project region. NPI was determined by overlapping Poly Grid of land properties in analyzed project region. NPI of the Masu region was 0.882 TPI that was estimated by additional productive wages ratio of the total of direct productive cost. Additional productive wages were determined by GIS Network analysis of the working distance from each farm house to paddy. PPI was determined at each analyzed farm house and paddy by weighted NPI and TPI. NPI'S and TPI'S weights for PPI were 80%, 20% respectively. PPI variation of each analyzed paddy of the Masu region was 0.967~0.712, and could show the relative PPI value.

        해산 양식어류로부터 분리된 연쇄구균증의 원인균, Lactococcus garvieae에 대한 연구

        본 연구는 우리 나라의 해산 양식어류 양식장에서 발생하는 연쇄구균증 원인균의 종 조성과 미생물학적 연쇄구균증 원인균의 종 조성과 미생물학적 특성을 밝히고자 하였다. 안구 백탁, 안구 출혈, 아가미뚜껑 출혈 및 복부 팽만 등의 증상이 관찰되는 해산 양식어류에서 분리된 연쇄상구균의 여러 균주들을 Lactococcus garvieae와 생리학적, 생화학적, 혈청학적 특성을 비교하였다. 또한 polymerase chain reaction(PCR)assay로 분리 균주들과 L.garvieae의 연관성을 조사하였으며 연쇄구균증 원인균들의 분포 특성을 조사하였다. 연쇄구균증을 나타내는 3종의 해산 양식어류로부터 연쇄상구균 35균주를 분리하였으며, 이 균주들의 생리, 생화학적 특성을 L.garvieae와 비교해 본 결과 15 균주가 L.garvieae에 속하는 것을 알 수 있었다 분리균주를 참조균주인 ATCC49156토끼 향혈청으로 슬라이드 응집 시험한 결과 L.garvieae KG^+type과 응집하는 균주가 7균주로 관찰되었다. 또한 L.garvieae의 특이 primers, pLG-1(5'-CATAACAATGAGATCGC-'3)와 pLG-2(5'-GCACCCTCGCGGGTTG-3')를 사용한 16S rRNA의 PCR 시험 결과 분리균주 중 21 균주가 예상 band를 형성하여 L.garvieae로 판단하였다. 이상의 결과에 따르면 35종의 분리균주 중 L.garvieae가 21 균주, Enterococcus sp.rk 5 균주, Streptococcus sp.가 9종으로 조사된 지역에서 연쇄구균에 의한 질병 발생은 L.garvieae가 우점을 차지함을 알 수 있었다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the microbiological characteristics and the distributions of the bacteria causing streptococcicosis occurred in marine fish farm, Korea. Many kinds of cultures fishes suffered from the disease accompanied with typical symptoms, including darkening of the skin, exophthalmia, petechiae inside of the opercula and distended abdomen. The isolates from the diseased fishes were compared with Lactococcus garvieae by biochmical, biophysical and serological methods and polymerase chain reaction(PCR) assay. We isolated 35 strains of the geuns Streptococcus from the diseased olive flounder, Paralichthys olivaceus, yellow tail, Seriola quinqueradiata and Korean rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli. 15 strains out of the isolates were identified to L. garvieae and the others were not because of their different biochemical and biophysical charateristics. Seven strains of the isolates were agglutinated by rabbit serum raised against L. garvieae KG^+ phenotypic cells(ATCC49156)as a reference strain. Twenty-one strains of the isolates identified to L. garvieae since they were formed the expected band through performing PCR assay using specific primers, pLG-1(5'-CATAACAATGAGATCGC-3') and pLG-2(5'-GCACCCCGCGGTTG-3'). In the present study, it showed that L. garvieae was a dominant strain causing streptococcicosis in the tested area due to occurrence of 21 strains as L. garvieae out of all the isolates, 9 atrains as Streptococcus sp. and 5 strains as Enterococcus sp.
