        The purpose of this study is to analyze the visual variation of skilled and unskilled people, and to obtain data necessary for skill improvement of effective handball penalty throw. An eye tracker was used to collect eye movements, concentration points, directions, and paths during penalty throws. The results are as follows: 1) For skilled players, the place where they threw and the place where their eyes were focused matched. 2) There is no difference in the presence or absence of eye contact with the goalkeeper.

      • 까치에 의하여 發生하는 配電線路의 故障豫防에 관한 硏究

        In modern times, electricity is an essential energy and its dependence to people is more increased. The distribution line system in Korea consists of 22.9kV multi-ground connection. The 15.2% of distribution line troubles is being produced by birds' contact with distribution line. The cause of the interruption of electric power is mostly a magpie. To prevent the troubles by magpie, various kinds of prevention measures have been tried for 20 years. But the trouble continues to be happened by magpie's outstanding ability of learning. In this paper, the effectiveness of prevention equipments using a sense of touch, sight and hearing which have been used at Korean Electric Power Corporation is analyzed and more effective prevention measures is considered. As a results, to prevent the troubles, it is difficult to get good effectiveness when only one prevention measure is applied. However, when several measures are applied at the same time, the troubles can be reduced. Also, even though magpies build their nests, for not to make the troubles, a electric pole equipment should be corrected and its form should be improved. In addition, we have found the facts that the activity periods for moderating the number of magpie and for removing the nests, weather, and DB system are simultaneously considered as the effective prevention measures.

      • WEL-TEN60 母材와 熔接材의 低溫 引張 및 衝擊特性에 關한 硏究

        This study was aimed to determine tensile and impact properties of base and weld metals of WEL-TEN60 of temperatures from-70℃to 70℃. It is particularly important to assess tensile properties, absorbed energy change, lateral expension ratios and fracture appearance in order to prevent brittle fracture of this material at low temperatures. The obtained results were as follow: In case of base metal, the ultimate tensile strength, yield strength and elongation increase as the temperature decreases. The weld metal showed almost the same reactions as the base metal did. The fracture morphology of base and weld metals was that of dimple fracture at all temperature ranges. The dimple size got smaller as the temperature decreased. The fact that as the temperature increased, the absorbed energy increased seemed due to the increase of loading time. The curves of fibrous fracture, lateral expansion and absorbed energy kept almost the same shape. We came to conclusion that when we applied 15 ft-1b CVN temperature, the materials are safe from brittle fracture over-70℃.

      • 水深變化 및 反射率을 考廬한 港內波高分布에 관한 硏究

        A numerical model is presented for the prediction of wave height distribution in a harbor due to the linear wave theory. The method is based upon the solution of a time-dependent analysis including wave refraction, diffraction, and arbitrary reflection coefficient by the finite difference approach. The present numerical model has been validated in several stages. The result obtained from wave shoaling effect has been compared with hydraulic experimental result presented by Ito and Tanimoto. The portion of the diffracted wave heights in a harbor has also been compared with the experimental works proposed by Nisimura et. al.. Good agreement was obtained between the present model and previously obtained results. Therefore it is concluded that the model can be applied to predict the wave height distribution in a harbor with varying depth and arbitrary reflection coefficients. Finally, a numerical example of this application for the Hwa-Sun harbor is shown.

      • 韓國産 모래무지亞科 魚類 水溶性 筋蛋白質의 電機泳動像

        Muscle proteins of the Korean gudgeon of the subfamily Gobioninae were investigated by the polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis to determine the relationships among the species and genera studied. The number of bands were varied between 8∼13, and the mobiltiy and density or width of staining were appeared to be specificity. Judging from the genera Pseudorasbora and Puntungia are closely related each other, but Gnathopogon and Squalidus which were previously known to be cospecific genus were conspicuously difference between them. The muscle protein electrophoretic patterns was provided to be confirmed the phyletic groups adopted for the subfamily Gobioninae by Banarescu and Nalbant in 1973.

        비호지킨림프종 환자에서 발생한 폐 효모균증 1예

        저자들은 비호지킨씨 림프종 환자에서 항암 치료 후 질환의 진행성 병변과 감별을 요했던 우폐 중엽의 단발성 종괴를 흉강경하 생검으로 폐 효모균증을 확진하고 amphotericin B와 fluconazole로 치료한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is monoclonal expansion of malignant B or T cells. The immunocompromised status in this disease is accompanied by many infections. The cryptococcosis, caused by Cryptococcus neoformans, frequently occurs in leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, sarcoidosis, diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, and long-term steroid-using patients. Recent increasing incidence of fungal infection could be due to the spread of AIDS and transplantation. We experienced one patient with lung mass in Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after three cycles of chemotherapy, which could not be discriminated from the newly developed lymphoma mass. Cryptococcus neoformans was isolated from the lung tissue obtained by thoracoscopic biopsy. Herein we report this case with brief review of pertinent literature.

        An experimemtal study was carried out on the effect of notch radius, notch length, stacking sequence, notch orientation, specimen thickness and temperature to the fracture toughness of carbon / epoxy laminates. the fracture toughness is decrease with an increase of notch radius, notch length, temperature and specimen's thickness and the fracture toughness of the(0°/±45°/90°)s laminates is higher than the (0°/45°/90°/-45°)s laminates and 90°notch orientation is higher than 0°notch. Also, it is assumed that the effects of temperature are related with specimen's curing cycle temperature.

      • 부분 반사경계를 갖는 항내의 파랑장에 관한 연구

        The numerical model is presented for the prediction of wave fields in a harbor with partially reflecting boundaries. The water depth is assumed to be constant, and the solution was obtained by the boundary element approach. The present numerical study is based on the linear diffraction theory with regular waves. The results of the present model have been compared with the results of previous physical modeling. Good agreement was obtained in all cases. Based on these comparisons, the present numerical model is and accurate and efficient tool to predict the wave fields in a harbor with partially reflection boundaries in constant water depth.

        제주 지역의 B형 간염 바이러스 유전자형

        목적: HBV 감염이 무증상의 자연 회복부터 간경변 혹은 간세포성 간암까지 다양하게 나타나는 요인들로 숙주의 요인과 바이러스의 요인으로 구분되어 제시되는데, 바이러스 요인으로는 감염된 바이러스이 유형이나 염기 변이들이 논의된다. HBV 유형을 구분하는 데는 혈청형과 유전자형이 이용되는데 근자에는 주로 유전자형이 이용된다. 이러한 HBV의 분포는 지역적으로 다르나 지역에 따라서 다른 유형들이 혼재되어 있다. 동남아시아는 B형이지만 극동아시아는 C형으로 알려져 있으며, 대만과 오키나와에서는 B와 C형이 혼재되어 나타난다. 이러한 결과로 미루어 보아 우리 나라의 남부지역에서는 B과 C형이 혼재되어 있을 가능성이 있다. 이에 본 연구는 제주 지역에서 HBV의 유전자형을 조사하고자 하였다. 대상과 방법: 원적지가 제주도이면사, HBsAg가 양성이었던 107명(평균 연령: 46.5세)을 대상으로 하였다. 이들의 혈청으로부터 HBsAg/antiHBe를 분석하고, DNA를 추출하여 7개의 유전자형에 따라 특이성을 갖는 시발체(genotype specific primer)들을 이용하여 PCR로 증폭한 후 이를 분석하였다. 주된 유전자형의 일부와 다른 유형에서 증폭에 이용되었던 시발체를 다르게 이용하여 hemi nested PCR로 증폭한 후 염기를 분석하여 계통발생학적 분석법을 이용하였다. 결과: 1. PCR에 의한 HBV DNA 양성은 107명 중 59명(55.1%)이 양성이었다. HBeAg/anti HBe의 발현 양태에 따라 음성/음성에서 2명(66.7%), 음성/양성에서 30명(41.1%), 양성/음성에서 24명(85.7%), 양성/양성에서는 3명(100%)에서 증폭되었다. 2. Multiplex PCR에서는 58명의 유전자형이 C형, 1명에서는 B형과 C형이 동반 출현하였다. 3. Genotype specific primer를 이용하여 각각 따로 PCR을 시행한 경우에 A형에 의하여 증폭된 예가 1예, B형에 의하여 증폭된 예가 1예, C형에 의하여 증폭된 예가 59예로 A형과 B형 모두가 C형에서 증폭된 예였다. 4. 한 쌍의 시발체에 의하여 증폭되었던 A형과 B형 및 C형의 일부에서 염기를 분석한 결과 모두 C 유전자형이었다. 결론: HBsAg이 양성인 제주 지역 주민의 HBV의 유전자형은 C형일 것으로 생각된다. Background/Aims: Hepatitis B virus (HBV) was classified into 8 genotypes by a sequence divergence in the entire genome designated from A o H. HBV genotypes have distinct geographic distributions. Recently, HBV genotypes have been partially found as influencing the clinical manifestation of chronic liver disease in hosts. In Korea, the distribution of HBV genotypes remains unclear. The aim of this study was to evaluate the prevalence of the HBV genotype on Jeju Island. Methods: Hepatitis B virus genotypes were evaluated among 107 hepatitis B carriers residing on Jeju Island. We used single PCR and multiplex-PCR assay with genotype-specific primer pairs for HBV genotypes A-F for the genotyping. Results: 1. Fifty nine samples (55%) were positive for HBV DNA. The positivity was different according to the pattern of HBeAg/anti-HBe expression, as -/-; 2/3 (66.7%), -/+; 30/73 (30%), +/-; 24/28 (85.7%) and +/+; 3/3 (100%). 2. In the single primer set of genotype-specific PCR, 59 samples (100%) were detected as genotype C and 2 (3%) were also detected as genotype A and B. 3. In multiplex-PCR, 58 samples (98%) were detected as genotype C and only one (2%) as a mixed pattern of genotype B and C. 4. When the PCR products were amplified with universal sense and genotype specific anti-sense from one genotype A, one B, and 2 C, all were included in genotype C. Conclusions: These results suggest that on Juju Island, almost all HBV genotypes are C.(Korean J Hepatol 2004;10:42-50)

        농업용수 수질기준의 문제점 및 개선대책 : 외국사례와의 비교를 통해

        우리나라 농업용수 수질기준과 다른 국가 또는 농업관련 국제기구의 수질기준에 대한 비교분석을 통해 우리나라 농업용수 수질기준의 문제점 도출과 해결방안을 모색코자 본 연구를 수행하게 되었으며, 그 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 1. 우리나라 농업용수 수질기준은 관개용수 수질기준이 아니고, 수원보호측면의 수질기준이라 할 수 있다. 2. 우리나라 수질기준중 유기물지표가 하천과 호소에 따라 BOD와 COD로 이원화되어 있고, 특히 COD의 경우 산화제로 KMnO4를 사용함으로써 효과적인 유기물지표로 활용할 수 없는 실정이다. 농업용수로의 활용측면에서는 K₂Cr₂O_(7)을 이용한 COD를 기준으로 도입하는 것이 유기물 분해능 및 수중의 유기물지표로 활용하고 있는 국제적 데이터 일치를 위해서도 타당하다. 3. 우리나라 농업용수 수질기준은 캐나다와 FAO에서 제시하고 있는 염류에 대한 기준은 거의 없는 실정이다. 또한 양이온에 대한 기준도 없다. 염류의 기준이 모든 이온 존재의 가능성을 의미하므로, 실험치 및 외국문헌에 의한 1.0dS/m수준을 한계농도로 선정해야 한다. 4. FAO와 캐나다에서 사용하고 있는 축산용수에 대한 수질기준이 없다. 5. 관개용 농업용수가 농업(작물)에 미칠 수 있는 영향을 평가하기 위해서는 수원별로 수질기준이 다른 것이 큰 모순이다. 따라서 관계부처에서는 부처간의 이해를 떠난 수질기준을 설정해야 한다. 6. 우리나라 농업용수 수질기준의 모순점을 극복하기 위해서는 농업의 안전성확보측면 위해 관개용수 수질기준과 축산용수 수질기준을 조속히 제정해야 할 것이다. Present problems and possible solutions on the Water Quality Standards for Agriculture in Korea, were identified in the study. Because the Ministry of Environment made the laws and standards without consulting the agri-scientists, among others, the water quality standards formulated were not suitable standards of FAO, Japan, Canada, and the likes. The BOD and COD are the organic materials indicators. In case of rivers, BOD are set for the indicator. And at reservoirs. COD are set. Especially. COD was analysed using KMnO₄It is not suitable oxidizing agent for COD. Because the oxidic capacity is very low. So, in most developed country, K₂Cr₂O_(7) is usually used to analyze COD. And the salts and cations are not belonged to the Korean Water Quality Standards for Agriculture. The water quality standards for agriculture have big differences among lakes, rivers and groundwater. To apply different standards by resources to evaluate the relationship between water and crops is conflicting. So, to overcome the these problems, the suitable water quality standards for irrigation and livestock should be set.
