        수돗물에서 동 배관의 부식특성에 관한 연구

        The corrosion behavior of copper in neutral aerated synthetic tap water was investigated using electrochemical methods, SEM and XPS. All potentiodynamic polarization curves showed active corrosion behavior, and the corrosion rate was more sensitive to flow velocity than Cl^(-) ion concentration and temperature. The result of potentiostatic test indicated that the current density decreased with increasing time regardless of Cl^(-) ion concentration and temperature in stagnant condition because copper compounds were formed uniformly on the surface. The EIS plot was changed from two time constants to three time constants with the formation of Cu₂O, and the charge transfer resistance (R_(ct)) was very large and increased with increasing immersion time. From all results, copper had good corrosion resistance in this potable water system.

      • TNF-α 유전자로 형질전환된 효모의 성장양태 및 단백질 생산

        사람 TNF-a를 생산하도록 GPD promoter와 AG promoter로 형질전환된 S. cerevisiae가 보이는 성장양상, 총분비단백질, pretease 활성을 측정하였다. GPD promoter로 형질전환 된yeast는 63.6 g/L의 성장이 일어났고 총분비단백질은 9 mg/L이며, pretease 활성은 2.55 X10^(4) unit/L 였다. AG promoter로 형질전환된 yeast의 경우엔 68 g/L의 성장이 측정되고 총분비단백질은 27 mg/L, pretease 활성1.55 X10^(4) unit/L였다. 단백질과 protease 분비량은 세포의 성장과 비례하는 것을 알 수 있었고, GPD promoter로 발현되는 TNF-a의 양은 배양초기에는 검출 한계 이하였고 15시간 이후에 증가하는 양상을 보여 배양 후 35시간째에 가장 많은 양 약 2535 ng/ml 정도가 분비되는 것으로 나타났다. We measured growth, total secreted protein and total secreted protease of transformed Saccharomyces cerevisiae with human TNF-α gene. Two different promoters, GPD promoter and AG promoter, were used for heterologous expression of human TNF-α gene. The growth which transformed TNF-α:GPD promoter was 63.9 g/L and total secreted protein was 9mg/L, protease activity was 2.55 x 10^(4) unit/L. In another case at TNF-α:AG promoter the growth was 68 g/L, total secreted protein was 27 mg/L and protease activity was 1.55 X 10^(4) unit/L. We could know total secreted protein and protease were directly proportional increase with growth. In initial time of culture, we could not see the TNF-α content in GPD promoter but after 15hours the yeast produced TNF-α. The highest level of product of TNF-a was 2535 ng/ml at 35hours after culture.

        高層아파트 團地의 遮蔽度 指標設定에 관한 硏究(Ⅱ) : 首都圈內 104個 아파트團地 事例를 中心으로

        This is the second part of our study already published in No.184 of AIK Journal (2004. 02) under same title. In this study we chose increased number of 104 cases of high-rise apartment estates in capital region to make analysis of exterior landscape factors. Our intention was laid on the verification of the suggestions from the conclusion of the former study introducing new quantified standards. We tried to prove that they can be served as better tool for the study of landscape in urban high-rise area, and to suggest the scope and practical limits of quantified standards in the process of planning for the urban landscape. In this study we chose and analyzed, as additional factors to consider, the size of apartment estates including apartment buildings' floor area and the number of households, feature of visual blockage, and building height as important factors affecting visual blockage in high-rise housing landscape. Our suggestion, as conclusion of our study, for the limits index for the Visual Blockage Ratio is as follows: 1) the maximum number of facade area to be 3,000㎡ 2) maximum and mean value of Elevation Blockage Ratio to be respectively below 60% and 50%, 3) maximum and mean value of the Linear Blockage Ratio to be respectably below 60% and 50%. It is also highly recommended to enhance the recognition of the concept of visual blockage in planning practice so as to lead to the production of adequate checklists applicable from the early stage of the planning, especially for high-rise apartment building estates as well as for all of the agglomerations of tall buildings dominating urban scene nowadays.

        정신분열병 환자의 우울증에서 Paroxetine과 삼환계 항우울제 병용치료

        저자들은 마산동서병원에 입원중인 우울증이 동반된 정신분열증 환자 10명을 대상으로 사용중인 항정신병약물에 paroxetine과 저용량의 삼환계 항우울제를 6주간 병용투여한 후 우울증상에 대한 효과와 치료의 안전성 및 약물상호작용을 알아보았다. Paroxetine은 고정량의 항정신병약물과 삼환계 항우울제에 부가하여 일일 20㎎을 6주간 병용하게 하였으며, 임상상태는 HDRS, HARS, UKU Side Effect Rating Scale등의 평가척도를 사용하여 평가하였다. 또한 약동학적 약물상호작용은 삼환계 항우울제들의 혈장농도를 HPLC로 측정하여 분석하였다. 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 10명의 전체 대상환자에서의 HDRS 평균점수는 TCA와 paroxetine 병용투여 6주후에 통계적으로 유의하게 감소되었다. 이중 40%의 환자에서는 병용투여 6주후에 HDRS 점수상 50% 이상의 감소를 보여, 일부의 환자들에서는 정신분열병에 동반된 우울증상의 치료에 소량의 삼환계 항우울제와 paroxetine의 병용치료가 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 2) 두 명의 환자에게서 심각한 약물독성이 발생하였다. 이중 한 명은 삼환계 항우울제의 높은 혈중농도로 인한 항콜린성 위기(anticholinergic crisis) 소견을 보였으며, 다른 한 명은 인지기능 및 의식수준은 명료하였으나 망상과 환각증상이 약화되는 소견을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구에서 시도된 복합적 약물치료의 경우, 삼환계 항우울제의 혈중농도의 측정을 포함한 세심한 임상적 추적이 필요하다고 생각된다. 3) 기저치의 amitriptyline과 그 대사물인 nortriptyline의 농도합. imipramine과 대사물인 desipramine의 농도합은 각각 47.8-226.5ng/㎖. 80.5-395.6ng/㎖였으며 일반적으로 이들 약물들의 단독사용시에 문헌에 보고된 혈중농도를 훨씬 상회하고 있었다. 이는 병용투여된 항정신병 약물 약시 강력한 CYP2D6 효소억제제로서 기저치의 삼환계 항우울제들의 혈장농도를 이미 상당히 증가시켰던 것으로 판단되며, 그러한 결과로 인해 본 연구에서는 paroxetine이 이전의 문헌보고들과는 달리 뚜렷하게 삼환계 항우울제들의 혈장농도를 증가시키지 못하였다. 본 연구는 SSRI와 삼환계 항우울제의 병합 투여가 우울증의 개선 효과를 빠르게 하고, 치료역을 넓히고, 약물상호작용의 결과 paroxetine이 삼환계 항우울제의 혈중농도를 증가시킨다는 기존의 연구결과를 이용하여 정신분열병 우울증상의 치료에 parotextine과 소량의 삼환계 항우울제를 병용하는 방법을 시도해 본 연구이다. 저자들은 이러한 약물치료가 일부의 환자들에게서 효과가 있음을 관찰하였으나, 항정신병약물과 삼환계 항우울제를 병용투여 할 경우는 물론 이에 paroxetine과 같은 선택적 세로토닌 재흡수 억제제를 병용할 경우 복합약물상호작용의 결과로 약물독성의 위험성이 크며 세심한 주의가 필요함을 경험하였다. Depression is well-known to comorbid with several psychiatric disorders. Many schizophrenics also suffer from depression in the course of their illness. Combined therapy of SSRI and tricyclic antidepressants were reported to have benefits in some depressed patients. Paroxetine, a potent CYP2D6 inhibitor, increases the blood levels of tricyclic antidepressant markedly. Using paroxetine, we tried this combined therapy in the treatment of depressive symptoms in 10 chronic schizophrenic inpatients and evaluated its efficacy and drug interactions between paroxetine and tricyclic antidepressants. The following results were obtained : 1) The mean score of Hamilton's Depression Rating Scale(HDRS) was reduced significantly after 6 weeks-trials of this combined therapy for the mild depressive symptoms in 10 chronic schizophrenics. In four patients, 50% or more reductions in the scores of HDRS were noticed at final evaluation. 2) Two among our 10 subjects experienced severe toxic behavioral problems. Anticholinergic crisis with toxic confusion due to high blood levels of tricyclics was found in one patient and the other showed rapid clinical deterioration in his psychotic symptoms such as delusion and hallucination without any consciousness alternation. 3) Baseline plasma levels of tricyclics before adding paroxetine were higher than expected in our chronic schizophrenic subjects maintained with their antipsychotic medications. Several antipsychotics were also known as a potent CYP2D6 inhibitors and to increase the blood levels of tricyclics. Because the blood levels of tricyclics had already increased significantly by the use of antipsychotics, adding paroxetine to antipsychotics and tricyclic antidepressant in our subjects could increase the blood levels of tricyclics not so much as previously reported in the literatures.

      • FESWMS-2DH를 이용한 하천의 흐름 해석

        In this study, flood stage was computed by HEC-RAS, 1-D numerical analysis model and FESWMS-2DH, 2-D numerical model. Flood stages computed by two different models were compared for straight line, dot axle watercourse, dead-zone watercourse, section sudden-changing watercourse, and curved watercourse. From the results, flow velocity and water level were similar in straight watercourse and dot-reduction watercourse. However, there was difference of flow velocity and water level in dead-zone watercourse, sudden expansion, dot-reduction, and curve-watercourse. This result might be influenced by rapid change of watercourse due to dead-zone, the angle of inflow and outflow, and the curvature. Especially in this study, numerical model was applied to Wol-Song-Cheon at Chuncheon in order to analyze the effect of flood stage by two different models. By flowing properties around the bridge and confluence of rivers, it was found that flow velocity and water level was changed. Therefore, it was concluded that a lot of uncertainties are contained in the present bank.

        高層아파트團地의 景觀構成 要素와 遮蔽度 指標 設定에 관한 硏究 : 首都圈內 15個 아파트團地 事例를 中心으로 Focused on the 15 Cases in Capital Region in the View of Landscape Factors

        The aim of this study is to make a proposal of a guideline for the evaluation of urban housing landscape. In this study we chose 15 cases of high-rise apartment estates in capital region to make analysis of exterior landscape factors by performing Factor Analysis with semantic differential method and SPSS+ as tools for the research. Efforts were made to prove that our suggestion introducing new quantified standards (such as the maximum value of facade area, maximum and mean value of elevation blockage ratio, linear blockage ratio in 4 direction), compared with existing Visual Blockage Guideline, can be served as better tool for the landscape study in urban high-rise area. The result of the study is as follows: 1) Visual blockage is one of the most important factors for the evaluation of the quality in high-rise apartment landscape. 2) According to the Reliability and Correlation Analysis, we tried to prove the quantitative standards proposed in this paper were more efficient and appropriate way that can be applied for practical purpose than any other existing guidelines in common use for the appraisal of the landscape of the high-rise housing area. 3) For this study we chose and analyzed the sum of apartment building floor area (FAR), visual blockage figure, and building height as major factors affecting visual blockage in high-rise housing landscape. The result shows that the higher FAR and building height lead to the better visual openness and it proves that the control of blockage ratio simply derived from FAR or visual blockage figure is not a efficient way in general. 4) Further study is necessary in order to enhance the merits of applying quantified blockage ratio for the evaluation of high-rise apartment area through refinement of the result by increased number of case studies.

        비호지킨림프종 환자에서 발생한 폐 효모균증 1예

        저자들은 비호지킨씨 림프종 환자에서 항암 치료 후 질환의 진행성 병변과 감별을 요했던 우폐 중엽의 단발성 종괴를 흉강경하 생검으로 폐 효모균증을 확진하고 amphotericin B와 fluconazole로 치료한 1례를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고하는 바이다. Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma is monoclonal expansion of malignant B or T cells. The immunocompromised status in this disease is accompanied by many infections. The cryptococcosis, caused by Cryptococcus neoformans, frequently occurs in leukemia, Hodgkin's disease, sarcoidosis, diabetes mellitus, tuberculosis, and long-term steroid-using patients. Recent increasing incidence of fungal infection could be due to the spread of AIDS and transplantation. We experienced one patient with lung mass in Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma after three cycles of chemotherapy, which could not be discriminated from the newly developed lymphoma mass. Cryptococcus neoformans was isolated from the lung tissue obtained by thoracoscopic biopsy. Herein we report this case with brief review of pertinent literature.

      • 소형 풍력발전시스템을 위한 계통연계형 인버터에 관한 연구

        We imported technology from abroad and studied grid connected type wind power generation owing to the lack of technology, but nowadays we conduct researches in many quarters because of national supporting policy. However, the research speed is delayed by burden for research expense which wind power generation is huge. Therefore, in order to experiment on various kinds of the wind turbine, generator, and converter easily, the development of wind power system is demanded powerfully among research workers. In this paper, in order to satisfy this need, I suppose a new simulation development environment. The electric power generated by wind is changing, so by using the converter, schedule electric power must be provided. Therefore, in this paper, I explained an element of the converter of the wind power generation system by showing two examples. First, Diode rectifier and current controlled voltage source inverter by using IGBT(Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) element was used in the wind power generation system. Second, rectifier for control by using IGBT and current controlled voltage source inverter by using IGBT element was connected the grid. Simulation for two examples of grid connected type wind power generation system uses PSCAD/EMTDC and analyzed the result.
