<P><B>Objective</B></P><P>To evaluate the effects of functional electrical stimulation (FES) to ankle dorsiflexor (DF) and ankle plantarflexor (PF) on kinematic and kinetic parameters of hemiplegic gait.</P><P><B>Methods</B></P><P>Fourteen post-stroke hemiplegic patients were considered in this study. Electrical stimulation was delivered to ankle DF during the swing phase and ankle PF during the stance phase via single foot switch. Kinematic and kinetic data were collected using a computerized motion analysis system with force plate. Data of no stimulation (NS), DF stimulation only (DS), DF and PF stimulation (DPS) group were compared among each other.</P><P><B>Results</B></P><P>Peak ankle dorsiflexion angle during swing phase is significantly greater in DS group (-1.55°±9.10°) and DPS group (-2.23°±9.64°), compared with NS group (-6.71°±11.73°) (p<0.05), although there was no statistically significant difference between DS and DPS groups. Ankle plantarflexion angle at toe-off did not show significant differences among NS, DS, and DPS groups. Peak knee flexion in DPS group (34.12°±13.77°) during swing phase was significantly greater than that of NS group (30.78°±13.64°), or DS group (32.83°±13.07°) (p<0.05).</P><P><B>Conclusion</B></P><P>In addition to the usual FES application stimulating ankle DF during the swing phase, stimulation of ankle PF during stance phase can help to increase peak knee flexion during the swing phase. This study shows the advantages of stimulating the ankle DF and PF using single foot switch for post-stroke gait.</P>
포텐셜함수 기반 초공동 수중운동체 플레이닝 회피 제어 연구

In this paper, we focus on planing avoidance control for a supercavitating underwater vehicle based on the potential function method. The planing margin can be calculated using the relative position between the cavity center and vehicle center at the end of the vehicle. The planing margin was transformed into a limit variable such as the pitch angle and yaw angle limit. To prevent the vehicle attitude from exceeding the limit variable, a potential function based planing envelope protection method was proposed. The planing envelope protection system overrides commands from the tracking controller, and the vehicle attitude converges to a desired angle, in which the potential function is minimized. Numerical simulations were performed to analyze the physical feasibility and performance of the proposed method. The results showed that the proposed methods eliminated the planing, allowing the vehicle to follow tracking commands.

본 연구에서는 유류오염 지역인 유류보급 군부대 일대의 지하수에 대한 수질 측정 및 분석, 추적자시험, 지하수유형분석 등 수리지질학적 특성을 통하여 오염부지에서 나타나는 자연저감의 효과를 파악하였다. 또한 이 결과를 반영하여 최종적으로 거리별 자연 저감율 및 발현된 생분해능 등을 평가하였다. 거리에 따른 자연저감율을 평가한 결과, 선형기울기(K/Vx)는 -0.0248로 계산되었으며 산정된 체적저감율은 1.7 × 10<sup>-3</sup>/day로 나타났다. 연구지역의 발현된 BTEX 총 생분해능은 9.1~10.0 mg/L의 범위(평균 9.7mg/L)에 있으며 탈질화 과정이 약 63.6%로 가장 큰 영향을 주는 redox 과정임을 확인하였다. 본 유류오염지역의 지하수 BTEX 오염농도 평균 1.326 mg/L임을 고려할 때 생분해능은 충분할 것으로 판단된다. In this study, the efficiency of natural attenuation was evaluated through the hydrogeological characteristics such as monitoring and analyses, tracer tests, chemical composition analysis of the groundwater at a military site contaminated by petroleum hydrocarbon in korea. Also, based on the results, the natural attenuation rate by distance and the expressed biodegradation capacity(EBC) was evaluated. The regression slope of -0.0248(K/Vx) and bulk attenuation rate of 1.7 × 10<sup>-3</sup>/day were calculated respectively. The range of total expressed biodegradation capacity(EBC) of BTEX was shown from 9.1 mg/L to 10.0 mg/L(average 9.7 mg/L). It was confirmed that the denitrification which was expressed about 63.6% in the total EBC is the largest influence redox process. Consequently, the biodegradation capacity is considered to be sufficient for remediation in the BTEX average concentration of 1.326 mg/L.

<P>This paper presents a compact resistor-based CMOS temperature sensor intended for dense thermal monitoring. It is based on an <TEX>$RC$</TEX> poly-phase filter (PPF), whose temperature-dependent phase shift is read out by a frequency-locked loop (FLL). The PPF’s phase shift is determined by a zero-crossing (ZC) detector, allowing the rest of the FLL to be realized in an area-efficient manner. Implemented in a 65-nm CMOS technology, the sensor occupies only 7000 <TEX>$\mu \text{m}~^{\mathrm{ 2}}$</TEX>. It can operate from supply voltages as low as 0.85 V and consumes 68 <TEX>$\mu \text{W}$</TEX>. A sensor based on a PPF made from silicided p-poly resistors and metal–insulator–metal (MIM) capacitors achieves an inaccuracy of ±0.12 °C (3 <TEX>$\sigma $</TEX>) from −40 °Cto 85 °C and a resolution of 2.5 mK (rms) in a 1-ms conversion time. This corresponds to a resolution figure-of-merit (FoM) of 0.43 pJ <TEX>$\cdot \text{K}~^{\mathrm{ 2}}$</TEX>.</P>
ALE 기법이 적용된 수치해석을 통한 점토지반에서 석션 매입 앵커의 인발 저항력 평가

해상에 활용되는 계류앵커형식 중 한 종류인 석션 매입 앵커(EmbeddedSuctionAnchor;ESA)의 점토지반에서 인발 저항력을 평가하기 위해 ALE(ArbitraryLagrangianEulerian)AdaptiveMeshing기법을 적용한 수치해석을 수행하였 다.기존에 수행된 원심모형 실험과 한계 평형법을 이용한 해석적 방법의 결과와 비교·분석을 통해 수치해석 기법을 검증하 고,이를 이용해 앵커의 수평,연직,그리고 경사 방향의 인발 저항력을 평가하였다.더불어 경사 방향의 재하 이전에 앵커를 경사각만큼 회전시켜 앵커에 수직한 방향으로 인발이 가해지도록 하여 그 거동을 평가하였다.그 결과,수평 재하 시 중간 위치에서 가장 큰 저항이 발휘되었고,연직 재하의 경우 재하 위치에 따른 저항력의 차이가 크게 나타나지 않았다.앵커의 중간 위치에서 경사 재하 결과 경사각이 증가할수록 인발 저항력이 감소하였으며,초기회전이 있는 앵커의 경우 초기회전각 이 30도 이하일 때 인발저항력이 일정한 결과를 보였다. Numerical analysis with ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian) Adaptive Meshing technique was performed to evaluate the pullout capacity of the embedded suction anchors (ESA) in uniform clay. The numerical method was verified by the previous study, analytical results based on limit-equilibrium theory and centrifuge tests. The pullout capacity of the ESA under horizontal, vertical, and inclined loading were evaluated, and the effect of initial rotation of the ESA on pullout capacity was also investigated. The analysis results showed that the maximum horizontal capacity was obtained at the mid-point, and the each vertical capacity gave the similar value regardless of the loading points. Furthermore, the inclined capacity was decreased as the load inclination angle increased at the mid-point of the anchor, and almost the same pullout capacity was obtained when the initial rotation angles were below 30 degrees.
유압시스템용 Elbow형 Fitting 부품의 강도평가를 위한 유한요소해석

엘보형 피팅은 높은 유압시스템에서 사용되고 있기 때문에 요구되는 강도를 충족되도록 제작되어야 한다. 따라서 구멍가공에서 치수정밀도는 아주 중요하나 가공오차에 따른 강도평가는 부품의 신뢰성 확보를 위해 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 유한요소해석을 수행하여 가공오차에 따른 강도를 평가하였다. An elbow-typed fitting is widely used to transmit power in the hydraulic system of industrial machinery. The hydraulic system has pressure shock or surge to transmit the system operating fluid. The hydraulic system pressure should not exceed the rated working pressure for the fitting part. Pressure shock in the hydraulic system with fittings is used as reference value to determine the strength of the fitting and to establish safety factor. The hole of fitting may machined excessively in dimension and then its strength may lower. In the present paper, finite element analysis was carried out to evaluate the strength of the fitting used in the hydraulic system and also to establish standard for the safety.
