      • 쇠뼈를 이용한 산미스트의 흡착 및 제거

        금속표면처리시설과 축전지 제조시설 둥에서 발생하는 산미스트를 효과적으로 제거하기 위하여 질산미스트 및 황산미스트를 포함하고 있는 오염된 공기를 가정과 대중음식점 등에서 폐기물로 발생되는 소의 뼈(이하 '쇠뼈')를 이용하여 흡착제거함으로써 쇠뼈의 흡착제로서의 타당성을 평가하였다. 음식점에서 폐기물로 발생하는 쇠뼈를 탈회한 후 분쇄하여 황산미스트와 질산미스트를 흡착시켜 제거하고자, 흡착제의 크기와 흡착제의 량을 달리하면서 흡착 실험한 결과 흡착제의 크기를 작게 할수록, 흡착제의 량을 많이 할수록, 질산미스트 및 황산미스트를 흡수시킨 흡수액의 pH는 증가하였으며, 질산미스트 및 황산미스트의 농도는 감소하여 각각 97.29%와 96.09%의 제거율을 나타내었다. 쇠뼈를 이용한 질산미스트와 황산미스트의 흡착제거시 제거율이 높은 것은 쇠뼈의 성분에 가장 많이 함유되어 있는 칼슘화합물과 산미스트와의 산염기 반응에 의한 것으로 분석되었으며. 이에 따라 식당이나 가정에서 폐기물로 발생되는 쇠뼈는 본 실험에서와 같이 탈회 및 파쇄과정을 거쳐 흡착능을 갖도록 하면 산미스트와 같은 특정한 오염물질을 선택적으로 제거하는 데 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다. This study was carried out to investigate the adsorptive efficiency of cow bone. And adsorbates were nitric acid-mist and sulfuric acid-mist. As particle size of cow bone was decreased, removal efficiency of nitric acid-mist increased from 10.72ppm(before treatment) to 0.29ppm(after treatment) and those of sulfuric acid-mist was increased from 222.04ppm(before treatment) to 8.67ppm(after treatment) These results suggested that cow bone is a effective adsorbent for treatment of acid-mist

        과산화효소를 이용한 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지 제조에 관한 연구

        백혈구에 존재하는 과산화 효소를 이용하여 뇨 중 백혈구의 수를 간접적으로 측정하는 새로운 방법의 뇨 검사지를 개발하였다. 과산화 수소원으로서 포도당 산화효소와 포도당을, 색원체로서 tetramethylbenzidine을 처리하여 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지를 제조하였으며 검출한계는 10cells/㎕ (5 cells/hpf)이었다. 개발된 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지로 뇨를 분석하였을 때 뇨 1/㎕당 10-25cells의 백혈구가 존재할 경우에는 2분내에 연녹색을, 75-250 cells/㎕에서는 녹색을 보였고 500 cells/㎕ 이상에서는 녹청색을 보였다. 172명의 환자뇨를 대상으로 뇨중 백혈구 수치를 현미경 측정 결과와 본 연구에서 개발한 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지와 현재 수입 시판 중인 미국의 A사 제품과 B사 제품으로 분석 비교한 결과 좋은 상관관계를 보였다. 이와 같은 평가분석을 통하여 볼 때 본 연구에서 개발한 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지는 에스테라아제를 이용한 백혈구 측정용 뇨 검사지와 함께 뇨중 백혈구를 스크리닝 하는데 효과적임을 알 수 있었다. A new test strip to detect leukocytes using the myeloperoxidase in urine was developed. The reagent strip contains tetramethylbenzine, glucose and glucose oxidase. The detection limit was between 10 cells per 1㎕ urine(5 cells/hpf), showing greenish yellow color in the range of 10-25 cells/㎕, green color in the range of 75-250 cells/㎕, greenish blue color in the range of 500 cells/㎕. The result can be obtained within two minute. The performance of the new method was evaluated by comparing the results of microscopic examination and other commercial products. Good correlations were shown between the values obtained by our urine strip and those by other commercial products with 172 urine samples. The results were proven that new methods were useful as primary screening reagents to detect leukocytes in urine.

        4 multinucleate and 7 mononuclear fungi were investigated for screening of high protease productive strains. The protease activity of mononuclear strains was generally greater than that of multinucleate strains. For acid proteinase, Aspergillus awamori AOK 1007 and Asp. oryzae shoyu 2 as mononuclear strains were selected in glucose-polypeptnoe medium. For acid carboxypeptidase, two mononuclear strains were screened as Asp. awamori AOK 1007 and Asp. usamii mut. shirousami AOK 1011 in glusose-sodium glutanate medium. In this result, mononuclear fungi appeared higher protease production than that of multinuclear fungi. So, mononuclear fungi may gave many merits to improve protease activity by using of mutation or cell fusion technology.

        This paper shows eletrochemical extraction property changes of dyed cations by the various eletrochemical conditions using quartz crystal technique. The quantitative and qualitative changes of electrode surface was monitored measuring oscillation parameters of quartz crystal. The results suggest that the eletrochemical extraction of cation is influenced by the various factors such as ionic size, ionic intensity and tendency of ionization.

        Current olympic games became to atlract people's concern world widely such development owed to the present political environments. But, under such development, political tenseness is involved particalary by nationalism. For example, the pure idea of olympicgames is contaminated by each nation's hot congestion, for another political benefit. So some solutions to this situation can be demonstrated like followings. 1. Even thoogh impossible, It is ideal to establish the etenal place for olympiad to remove each countriy's power games. But, there are a few problems such as economic difficulty. Some methodologies can be operated to compensate for the dificulty if and only if some would agree with me. in the case it is impossible to realize, another way such as the olympiad can be held in neutralization countries by rotation. 2. I think it is ideal to open olympiad without the showing of each country's national flag and instead of present domitary method for each country, that is to say, even though it is impossible to. By the idea of olympic, it is deserable not to play national songe and not to contribute medals for winners for the prevention of nationalism. And I think it is ideal to give something else ofr the celebrat of the hory spirit of winning.

      • 八味地黃湯 煎湯液의 投與가 마우스의 自然致死 細胞의 活性度 및 免疫反應에 미치는 影響

        This study was done to know the effects of Palmijihwangtang(八味地黃湯) on the cytotoxic activity of NK cells, the phagocytic activity of macrophages, the antibody production of B cells, and delayed-type hypersensitivity reaction by T cells in the mouse. The results were as follows. 1. The administration of Palmijihwangtang enhanced the cytotoxic activity of NK cells against YAC-1 cells. 2. The administration on Palmijihwangtang increased the production of reactive oxygen intermediate(ROI) production from macrophages without any effect on phagocytic activity. 3. The administration of Palmijihwangtang decreased the delayed-type hypersensitivity against dinitrochlorobenzene without affecting T cell subtypes. 4. The administration of Palmijihwangtang increased the antibody production against sheep red blood cells. The above results suggest that Palmijihwangtang could be used for the prevention and treatment of the diseases caused by the abnormalties of the body's immune functions.

      • 도재수복물의 표면 첨색시 온도에 따른 색조안정성과 표면조도의 평가

        The effects of oven firing on the color stability and surface texture of extrinsic stains used characterization and color modification of metal ceramic restoration were studied by comparing different temperatures and techniques. They were autoglaze technique, applied glaze technique, two step low-fusing glaze technique and one step low-fusing glaze technique. Autoglaze technique and applied galze technique were air-fired to manufacturer's recommended temperature. Two step low-fusing glaze technique is seperated staining and overglazing. Thin slurry of stain powder were air-fired to 1500℉. Overglaze powder was than mixed with stain medium and air-fired to 170℉. One step low-fusing glaze technique in combined staining and overglazing. Thin slurry of stain and glaze powder were air-fired to 170℉. The obtained results were as follows : 1. Slightly significant color differences by colorimeter were found between different stain application and fusion techniques(P<0.05). 2. Two step low-fusing glaze method showed the most rough surface, especially ceramco orange stain(P<0.05). 3. Surface roughness increased gradually in order of autoglaze, applied glaze, one step low-fusing glaze but they were not significantly different(P<0.05). 4. When two step low-fusing glaze was applied, both color measurement and surface texture were significantly different from other groups(P<0.05).

        수지상세포의 방사선 저항성에 대한 연구

        목적 : 림프구와 비교되는 수지상 세포의 방사선 민감성을 보기 위하여 본 연구를 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법 : 말초혈액에서 분리한 T 림프구에 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간 후에 유세포 분석기를 이용하여 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 또한 조혈모세포에서 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상 세포를 단계적으로 분리 배양하여 각각 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy의 방사선을 조사하고 4시간, 24시간 그리고 48 시간 후에 선량별 세포고사 빈도를 관찰하였다. 사이토스핀(cytospin)슬라이드에 림프구와 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포를 3×104개 씩 분주하고 May Grunwald-Giemsa 염색한 후, 광학 현미경 하에서 각각의 세포군 당 100개의 세포에서 세포 면적당 핵의 면적 비를 측정하였다. 결과 : 림프구에서는 방사선조사 선량별로 세포고사 빈도가 유의하게 증가하였으나, 수지상 세포에서는 그 분화정도나 방사선조사 선량에 따른 세포고사의 빈도차이가 없었다. 또한 수지상 세포는 방사선선량과 관계없이 용량에 의존적으로 강력한 T-세포 자극능을 보였다. 림프구의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비는 미성숙 및 성숙 수지상세포의 세포에 대한 핵의 면적 비보다 현저히 큰 반면, 두 가지 수지상세포간에 유의한 차이는 없었다. 결론 : 수지상세포는 그 분화도와 상관없이 림프구에 비하여 방사선 저항성을 나타내었고, 이는 세포의 형태적 차이에 따른 표적의 크기와 관련이 있을 것으로 생각되며, 향후 분자 생물학적인 연구의 기초 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것으로 생각된다. Purpose : To evaluate radiation sensitivity of dendritic cells in comparison with lymphocytes. Materials and methods : T lymphocytes captured from peripheral blood were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30Gy. Apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry for staining of Annexin V 4 hours after irradiation. Immature and mature dendritic cells processed from blood hematopoietic stern cell were irradiated by 0 Gy, 10 Gy, 30 Gy, 100 Gy respectively and apoptosis was measured by flowcytometry with time difference as 4h, 24h and 48h after irradiation. Morphometric analysis by percent nucleus was measured in three cell groups, also. Results : Lymphocytes showed radiation sensitivity by increasing apoptotic fraction according to radiation dose. However, both mature and immature dendritic cells showed consistent fraction of apoptosis in spite of increasing radiation dose. Percent nucleus ratio is significantly higher in lymphocytes than that of mature or immature dendritic cells. Stimulation of T-cell by dendritic cells was not changed after irradiation. Conclusion : Dendritic cells showed radioresistance which was associated with small size of nucleus in comparison with lymphocytes and this result would be used as a basal data of radio-labelling for the cellular trafficking studies in nuclear medicine fields.

Experiments have been done with various conditions that concentration of oxygen can be 3㎎/ℓ, 4~5㎎/ℓ and 5~6㎎/ℓ by controlling an retention time can be 10hr, 12hr and 14hr, return rate can be 0%, 100% and 200%. As the concentration of oxygen is 2~3㎎/ℓ, The rate of removal of BOD. COD, SS, T-N and T-P is 87%, 76%, 82%, 34% and 24%. As the concentration of oxygen is 5~6㎎/ℓ, The rate of removal of BOD, COD, SS, T-N and T-P is 92%, 84%, 88%, 45% and 33%. In the rate of removal of an organism, nitrogen and phosphorus thus It well be known that the rate of removal an organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus will be increased as the concentration of oxygen becomes higher. As th retention time is increased, the rate of removal of BOD, COD, SS, T-N and T-P is gradually higher in the rate of removal of an organic matter, nitrogen and phosphorus. Because contact time and contact area will be increased, which generates active substrate transfer and metabolic react according to increment of retention time. As the return rate is increased, The rate of removal of BOD, COD and SS is likely to be increased, In the case of T-N, It is also increased by 28% at 0% of the return rate and by 60% at 200% of the return rate. In the case of T-P, however, It is deceased , as the return rate is increased by 42% at 0% of the return rate and by 30% at 200% of the return. As the return rate is increased the retention time is decreased, which causes less activity of bacteria which affects that the rate of removal of Phosphorus is decreased.
