In this paper, we define a &irresolute map and obtain its characterizations and some properties of the maps on nearly open sets. Moreover, we define a β-Hausdorff space and have its some topological pro-perties and its characterizations.
On ideals in a Pseudo-Bezout domain

In this paper, we find some characterizations of t-ideal in a pseudo-Bezout domain, and we prove that the structure of pseudo-Bezout domain is the intersection of the localized valuation rings at prime t-ideals.

Some concepts of modem mathematics give rise to the new contents of school mathematics in accordance with the modernization movement of mathematics education. The transformation of the figures is one of new contents. The object of this research is to find out the effective teaching methods for the transformations of figures, the structures of various transformations, analyzing the curriculum and mathematics textbooks, and pointing out difficult aspects of contents which can be found in the mathematics education of some high schools in Cheju province.
컴퓨터 소프트웨어 활용이 도형학습에 미치는 영향 : GSP를 중심으로

The purpose of this paper is to investigate how much the learning ability of schoolboys in mathematics is increased when we teach schoolboys the figures in plain geometry by applying the teaching-learning software developed with GSP. For our purpose, we chose two similar classes in Cheju Cheil Junior High School. And we applied the developed software to one class but did not apply it to another class. After learning the contents of figures in plain geometry, we had a test on the contents to the schoolboys in both classes. After our experiments, we obtained these results : First, we knew that almost all schoolboys in the class which we applied the software developed with GSP had the positive attitudes in learning mathematics. Second, we knew that almost all schoolboys in the class which we applied the software improved their learning abilities compared to the schoolboys in the other Class.

In this thesis, we research the definitions and some examples on the limits of both sequences and functions from mathematics textbooks that used in high schools and in universities, respectively. And then we compared them and found some difference between them. At last, we tried to correct the defects of definitions in the high school textbooks and to introduce the strict definitions of limits of both sequences and functions into high school textbooks.
Extreme preservers of rank inequalities of Boolean matrix sums

We construct the sets of Boolean matrix pairs, which are naturally occurred at the extreme cases for the Boolean rank inequalities relative to the sums and difference of two Boolean matrices or compared between their Boolean ranks and their real ranks. For these sets, we consider the linear operators that preserve them. We characterize those linear operators as T(X) = PXQ or T(X) = PXtQ with appropriate invertible Boolean matrices P and Q.

The $m{\times}n$ Boolean matrix A is said to be of Boolean rank r if there exist $m{\times}r$ Boolean matrix B and $r{\times}n$ Boolean matrix C such that A = BC and r is the smallest positive integer that such a factorization exists. We consider the the sets of matrix ordered pairs which satisfy extremal properties with respect to Boolean rank inequalities of matrices over nonbinary Boolean algebra. We characterize linear operators that preserve these sets of matrix ordered pairs as the form of $T(X)=PXP^T$ with some permutation matrix P.
Linear operators that preserve column rank of fuzzy matrices

For each m≥2 and n≥3, we characterize the linear operators, T, on the m×n fuzzy matrices that preserve column rank. That is, T preserves column rank if and only if T strongly preserves column rank 1 and it preserves column rank 3. Other characterizations of column rank preserving operators are also given.

퍼머넨트 理論에 관한 많은 硏究들은 주로 n次의 正方行列에 관련되어 왔다. 本 論文에서는 正方行列에 관한 理論을 一般的인 m x n 行列로 확장시켰다. 곧 分解할수 없는 m x n 行列과 分解가능한 m x n行列의 構造에 관한 정리들과 縮約에 관한 정리들을 一般的으로 확장시켜 증명하였다. Many studies of permanents theory are related on doubly stochastic n-square matrices. In this paper, we define a partial doubly stochastic mⅹn matrices and analyze the structures of such matrices and their permanents. And we investigate the structures of fully indecomposable mⅹn matrices, party decomposable mⅹn matrices and contraction matrices of partial doubly stochastic matrices.
