교육 실습경험 및 실습기관의 조직풍토가 예비 유아교사의 자아개념, 역할수행 및 교수효능감에 미치는 영향

본 연구는 교육실습경험 및 실습기관의 조직 풍토가 예비유아교사의 자아개념, 역할수 행, 교수효능감에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 연구대상은 광주광역시와 전라남도에 소재한 3년제 전문대학과 4년제 대학의 유아교육과 졸업반 학생들로 선정하였으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비 유아교사의 교육실습경험에 따른 자아개념, 역할수행, 교수효능감에서 전체적으로 유의한 차이가 있었다. 역할수행의 하위 요소별로 살펴보면, 설계자, 상담가, 연구자, 행정가로서의 역할에서는 유의미하였으나, 계획자로서의 역할에서만 유의미한 차가 없었다. 교수 효능감에서는, 개인 교수 효능감에서는 유의한 차를 보이나, 일반 교수 효능감에서는 유의한 차가 없었다. 둘째, 교육실습기관의 조직풍토에 따라 예비 교사의 자아개념, 역할 수행은 전체적으로 유의미한 차가 있었으나, 교수 효능감은 유의미한 차가 없는 것으로 나타났다. This study intends to analyze how the course of the student teaching and organizational climate during the student teaching have an influence on the self-concept, role performance and teaching efficiency of preservice early childhood teacher This study was performed to the would-be graduates of early childhood education department, who were engaged in three year-course college and four year course university located in Gwangju City and Jeonnam province. The collected data was analyzed by using the SPSS Computer Program. The major results of this study are as follows. First, according to the course of the student teaching, there were significant differences in self concept, role performance and teaching efficiency as a whole. Second, according to organizational climate during the student teaching, there were significant differences not in teaching efficiency but in the self-concept, role performance of preservice early childhood teacher.
Production of Transgenic Male Piglet as Research Model for Alzheimer's Disease

Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease associated with memory loss and cognitive impairments. An AD transgenic (Tg) pig model would be useful for preclinical testing of therapeutic agents. In this study, we report the use of somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) to produce transgenic pigs over-expressing the human AD related genes (APP, APPswedish, Presenilin 1, and Tau). Transgenic embryos were generated by SCNT of from ear fibroblasts expressing AD genes. A total of 1808 (average 258) SCNT embryos were transferred into 7 recipients. Pregnancy was successfully maintained in one recipient. We obtained 1 cloned male piglet from a surrogate gilts and the weight of piglet was 935 g. But, the male piglet died two days after birth. The piglet expressed AD related genes by PCR and western blot analysis. Transgenes were expressed in multiple tissues, and at especially high levels in brain. AD Tg pig might be very useful for studying the disease and for testing new therapeutics in preclinical studies of human AD.
소목(Caesalpinia sappan) 추출물의 Streptococcus mutans에 대한 성장, 산생성, 부착 및 비수용성 글루칸 합성 억제에 미치는 영향

Streptococcus mutans is known as the causative bacterial playing the most important role in forming plaque and it is being noticed as major causative bacteria of dental caries. Therefore, development of more effective, substantial and safe preventive agent against dental caries and periodontal disease is honestly required. The present study was designed to investigate the effect of chloroform extract(CE), n-butanol extract(BE),methanol extract(ME) and water extract(WE) of Caesalpinia on the growth, acid production, adhesion, and insoluble glucan synthesis of Streptococcus mutans. The CE, BE, ME and WE decreased the growth and acid production of S.mutans than that of control, especially, the ME was more effective than other extracts. The effect of CE, BE, ME and WE on the adherences to saliva-coated hydroxyapatite bead(S-HA) were evaluated. At the concentration of 2,000 ㎍/㎖, the CE showed 32% rate of bacterial adherence to S-HA, whereas, other extracts of the same concentration producedgreater than 50% rate. The CE and BE were significantly decreased the reduction rates of water insoluble glucan formation from sucrose by crude glucosyltransferase of S.mutans. Thus, the application of C. sappan can be considered a useful and a practical method for the prevention of dental caries.
Sporadic insect hatchability according to the minimum air temperature in winter

강원지역에 발생하는 돌발해충은 미국선녀벌레, 갈색날개매미충, 꽃매미 등이 있다. 이러한 돌발해충의 월동은 동계최저기온에 의해 가장 큰 영향을 받게 된다. 따라서 꽃매미는 2012년부터 갈색날개매미충은 2016년부터 월동난괴 를 채집하여 동계최저기온에 따른 부화율을 측정하여, 동계최저기온과 돌발해충의 부화율 관계에 대한 조사를 실시하였다. 동계최저기온이 –11℃이하인 날이 35일 이상 지속된 2012년과 2017년 겨울은 꽃매미의 부화율이 9.2%, 7.2%로 낮게 나타난 반면, -11℃이하인 날이 16일로 비교적 낮은 경과일수를 보인 2013년 겨울에는 75.5%의 부화율을 보였다. 갈색날개매미충 역시 –11℃이하인 날이 35일 이상이었던 2017년 겨울에 43.1%의 낮은 부화율을 보였지만 20일로 적은 경과일수를 보인 2016년 겨울에는 89.4%로 약 2배정도 높은 부화율을 확인할 수 있었다. 이는 일정수준 이상 동계최저기온을 경과한 돌발해충의 월동난은 성공적인 월동을 하지 못한다는 것을 의미한다.
Human Turbinate Mesenchymal Stromal Cells as a Potential Option for Cartilage Tissue Engineering

To produce alternate cell sources for the regeneration of cartilage, human turbinate mesenchymal stromal cells (hTMSCs) were tested by culture for their differentiation potential in three-dimensional scaffolds with conventional chondrogenic ingredients. We also evaluated the effects of co-culture with human septal chondrocytes (hSCs) on the chondroinduction of hTMSCs. We isolated hTMSCs from discarded human inferior turbinate tissue. The expression of mesenchymal stem cell surface markers was assessed by fluorescence-activated cell sorting. hTMSCs were cultured in an open-cell polylactic acid sponge with TGF-β and IGF-1. hSCs were co-cultured with hTMSCs at a 1:1 ratio. Chondrogenic hTMSC differentiation and the efficiency of co-culture with hSCs were analyzed histologically by toluidine blue O staining. Cartilage-specific gene expression and matrix production were evaluated quantitatively by real-time PCR and Western blotting. Surface epitope analysis revealed that the hTMSCs were negative for CD14, CD19, CD34, and HLA-DR, and positive for CD29, CD73, and CD90. hTMSCs cultured in the OPLA scaffold showed high cell expansion and a chondroblastic phenotype, demonstrated by the expression of cartilage-specific genes. The chondroinduced hTMSCs exhibited much higher cartilage-specific matrix production and gene expression than characteristic of hSCs or a 1:1 co-culture of hTMSCs and hSCs. These findings indicate that hTMSCs may be redirected towards a chondrogenic phenotype by in vitro culture when cultured in three-dimensional scaffolds with growth factors such as TGF-β and IGF-1.

연 10회 이상 발생하는 온실가루이는 토마토 재배 시 6월 하순 기온이 상승하면서부터 발생량이 급격히 증가하고 약제에 대한 저항성이 강해 많은 농가에서 방제에 많은 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 온실가루이의 효과적인 방제를 위해 최적교호살포 약제조합을 선발하는 실험을 실시하였다. 작용기작에 따라 약제는 각각 신경전달기능을 억제하고, 키틴생합성을 저해하며, 지질생합성을 저해하는 작용기작을 가진 약제로 선정하였다. 각 처리구별로 약제 살포순서를 다르게 하여 교호살포한 결과 모든 처리구에서 3회 약제처리 후 성충밀도가 처리전 밀도보다 유의한 차로 줄어들었다. 약충에 있어서는 약제처리전 모든 처리구에서 약충 발생이 낮아 정확한 밀도억제효과를 확인하기 어려웠지만 최종조사에서는 신경전달저해, 탈피저해, 지질생합성저해 약제 순으로 처리한 처리구의 밀도가 무처리구와 비교하였을 때 일정수준 억제되는것을 확인하였다
