Objectives :The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of aroma therapy on sleep disorder patients with musculoskeletal pain. Methods :The 44 patients were divided into 2 groups: Experimental group(Exp. group) was treated with aroma therapy and control group was treated except aroma therapy. To evaluate the efficiency of aroma therapy, the Korean sleep scale A(Jin-Joo Oh, Mi-Soon Song, Sin-Mi Kim. 1998) and visual analogue scale(VAS) were applied before treatment and after 5 days treatment. Results :1. The Experimental group has improved statistical significance in sleep disorder score as compare to the control group. 2. The improvement of sleep disorder score of Exp.group has difference according to impression. 3. The improvement of sleep disorder has an effect on pain decrease. Conclusions :Aroma therapy has effects of improvement on sleep disorder with musculoskeletal pain.

The purpose of this paper was to identify the entrepreneurship of Kim Man Deok. This paper was divided into two parts : first is the Kim Man Deok s life stages and characteristic of the age, second is the entrepreneurship of Kim Man Deok. Kim Man Deok‘s life was divided into three time periods : fight against fate, as a CEO, donating her possession to society. And the entrepreneurship of Kim Man Deok were examined : personality and characteristics, values and beliefs, skills, behaviors and decisions. Kim Man Deok(1739-1812), who was living in Jeju Island. She became one of the richest persons living on Jeju Island after overcoming various difficulties in the previous 200 years. Kim Man deok was the first female CEO in Korean history. Kim Man Deok was a shrewd entrepreneur, who knew how to foresee future trends and stood apart from other great women of the Joseon era. Kim Man Deok s life inspired Jeju residents and remains one of the most respected figures.
Hydrogen for the Future Green Energy
( Ha Suck Kim ),( Sung Yul Bong ),( Seung Hee Woo ) 경남대학교 신소재연구소 2012 신소재연구 Vol.24 No.-
Many agree that the future energy will be hydrogen after the recent energy crisis which brought us to reconsider seriously about possible alternatives after fossil fuel for mankind. There are abundant sources for hydrogen-water, and it burns to form water. However, in order for us to adopt the new energy system, many hurdles have to be overcome. They are how to produce hydrogen economically, ways to store and transport safely, and ways to generate electricity efficiently, to name a few. Electrochemical generation of hydrogen needs a high overvoltage, thus, it is a very expensive way at the moment. Also, storage and transport require many fundamental researches. Efficient use of hydrogen is fuel cell. Fuel cells have been received a considerable interest as power sources because they exhibit high energy efficiency and are environmentally friendly. Despite these advantages, fuel cells in general need to overcome economic barriers for wide applications. Main barriers are the cost of materials such as platinum used in catalysts and proton conducting polymer. Catalysts are the core material for fuel cell and many attempts have been made to find out the most active, efficient and durable formulae in the MEA preparation step.[1-2] In this respect, works performed in our group for fuel cell catalysts will be summarized, they are preparation of by galvanostatic pulse electrodeposition on Nafion-bonded carbon layer [3-5], and effect of carbon supports for catalysts. Improved catalytic performance by choosing appropriate flow channels in the support was also observed. Also in this presentation, energy statistics and efficient way of use energy, possible future energy scheme will be discussed. [1] Hubert A. Gasteiger, Shyam S. Kocha, Bhaskar Sompalli, Frederick T. The formation of diverse spiral waves was studied in a polyacrylamide gel membrane with ruthenium(4-vinyl-4'-methyl-2,2'-bipyridine)bis(2,2'-bipyridine)bis(hexafluorophosphate) by a gas-free Belousov-Zhabotinisky (BZ) reaction system containing 1,4-cyclohexanedione (1,4-CHD). The gel membrane was found to be receptive for observing propagating waves since a clearer wave-train is obtained during a long reaction time without any disturbance from the immobilized metal catalyst which can be dissolved into the highly acidic solution of the BZ system. The distinctive waves in the system basically depend on both BrO3 and 1,4-CHD in the initial phase, and are influenced by the intensity of illumination of visible light.
The Effect of Parity and Calving Seasons on the Reproductive Performance of Korean Native Cows
Kim, Bong-Han,Lee, Sang-Kyu,Kim, Ill-Hwa,Kang, Hyun-Gu 韓國受精卵移植學會 2009 한국동물생명공학회지 Vol.24 No.2
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of cows parity and calving seasons on the subsequent reproductive performance of the herd of Korean native cows raised under the same condition. With the parity of the cows ranged 1 to 4 (mean: 1.9), significant associations were found between parity and calving interval (p<0.05). Calving interval of the primiparous cows group was 395.0 16.5 days, which was the longest calving interval among the four groups. On the other hand, calving interval of the second parity group was 333.7 3.6 days. The primiparous cows had tendencies that long interval from calving to conception and small number of service per conception relatively when compared with the multiparous cows. In the case of calving season, the interval from calving to first service was short in summer and winter relatively. The interval from calving to conception in summer was the shortest in four seasons. The number of service per conception was larger in spring and winter and smaller in summer and autumn. Calving in spring showed delayed reproductive performance and calving in summer showed desirable reproductive performance.
