<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Current trends in pharmaceutical wet granulation have been shifted from traditional approach to systematic and modern approaches, enabling the production of highly engineered product. In this context, quality by design (QbD), modelling, and simulation gradually become important tools in the pharmaceutical industry. In this review, several aspects of high-shear wet granulation (HSWG), such as process and formulation variables are introduced and discussed. In addition, potential critical process parameters of various granulation technologies, such as HSWG, twin-screw granulation (TSG), fluid-bed granulation (FBG), and fluid-bed melt granulation, are introduced. The significance of various off-line and on-line/in-line tools for the characterization of granules and tablet attributes are also highlighted along with their application. Moreover, various mechanistic and semi-mechanistic models that are used to improve the granulation process have been summarized as the predictive models. Monitoring and Control the Effect of Temperature on the Performance of PEM Fuel Cell

The polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cell (PEMFC) has widely recognized and most promising technology in which hydrogen gas is used as a fuel. The PEMFC is a great interest in the energy research field because of its potential application for direct conversion of chemical energy into electrical energy with high efficiency, high power density, low environmental pollution and low operating temperature. There are some parameters such as operating temperature, pressure, humidity and input and output reactants flow, that directly influence the performance of fuel cell. So we need to monitor and control these operation parameters for the better performance of PEMFC. So in this paper we were studying about the temperature parameters and trying to improve the performance of the fuel cell system. The monitoring and control strategy is proposed and applied to 50Watt PEMFC system. Experimentally it was found that performance of the PEMFC has been improved as compared to the normal operation.

NLMS Adaptive Beamforming Algorithm for smart antenna

The smart antennas are widely used for wireless communication because it has an ability to increase the coverage capacity of a communication system. The main purpose of the smart antenna system is the selection of smart algorithms for adaptive array. By using beam forming algorithms the weight of the antenna array can be adjusted to form certain amount of adaptive beam to track corresponding users automatically and to minimize interference arising from others by introducing nulls in their direction. On this paper, one of the beam forming algorithms called Normalized Least Mean Square Algorithm (NLMS) is presented. The efficiency of NLMS algorithm is compared on the basis of normalized array factor and mean square error (MSE) for mobile communication.

Maximum utilization of unused license spectrum is one of key factor in cognitive radio network which can handle the large number of systems and devices connected on smart grid AMI network. The central intelligence control system has responsibility to accept new technologies and users for automation. To ensure a reliable communication in smart grid system through cognitive network, a minimum mean square error (MSE) signal using unused licensed spectrum (or frequency) is necessary to be detected with small decision error. In this paper, we introduce a user control wireless smart grid system with minimum MSE using LMS algorithm.
