In recent years, gonorrhea has been pandemic and remains one of the most common STDs in the world, especially in developing countries. For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria gonorrhoeae(PPNG), we have been trying to study the patients who have visited the Venereal Disease Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by menas of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. In 1998, 93 strians of N. genorrhoeae were isolated, among which 60(64.5%) were PPNG. The prevalence of PPNG in Seoul, which had been decreased to 39% in 1996 after a peak of 74.3% in 1993, is increased to 64.5% in 1998.

해조류 에탄올 농도별 추출물의 항돌연변이원성 및 항균성

톳. 미역 및 다시마의 에탄올 농도별 추출물이 MMS. ICR191 및 sodium azide에 의해 유도되는 돌연변이원성의 억제효과 및 E. coli, B. subtilis 및 S. serevisiae에 대한 항균효과를 검정하였다. 톳의 90% 에탄올 추출물은 MMS와 ICR191에 대한 항돌연변이 원성이 각각 70 및 95% 이상으로 매우 높았으나, sodium azide에 대한 항돌연변이원성은 없었다. 미역의 에탄올 농도별 추출물은 30∼90% 에탄올 추출물에서 50% 이상의 항돌연변이 효과를 보았으나 MMS와 sodium azide에 대한 항돌연변이 효과는 없었다. 다시마의 30∼90% 에탄올 추출물의 ICR191에 대한 항돌연변이 효과는 70% 이상이었으나, MMS와 sodium azide에 대한 효과는 없었다. 에탄올 농도별 톳의 추출물들에 대한 항균성 검색 결과 70과 90% 추출물들이 E. coli와 B. subtilis에 대하여 뚜렷한 항균효과는 미역 추출물 보다 다시마의 추출물이 더욱 요과적이었다. 미역 추출물은 50% 추출물만이 S. cerevisiae에 대한 성장저지효과를 나타낸 반면, 다시마 추출물은 90% 에탄올 추출물에서는 시험된 모든 공시균주에 대하여, 그리고 70% 에탄올 추출물에서는 E. coli와 B. sutilis에 대하여 높은 성장저지효과를 나타내었다. Desmutagenic against MMS-, ICR191- and sodium azide-induced mutations, and antimicrobial effects against Escherichia coli, Bacillus subtilis and Saccharomyces cerevisiae by the extracts from Hizikia fusiforme. Laminaria japonica and Undaria pinnatifida with ethanol of a different concentrations were investigated. Desmutagenic effects against MMS and ICR191 of 90% ethanol extracts from Hizikia fusiforme were up 70 and 95%. respectively. no against sodium azide. Desmutagenic effects against ICR191 of 30∼90% ethanol extracts from Undaria pinnatifida and Laminaria japonica were up to 50 and 70%. respectively. but no against sodium azide and MMS. Antimicrobial effect of 70 and 90% ethanol extracts from Hizikia fusiforme had potent antimicrobial activities against E. coli and B. subtilis. Ethanol extracts from Laminaria japonica showed more effective antimicrobial effects than those from Undaria pinnatifida. Only 50% ethanol extract from Undaria pinnatifida showed growth inhibition effect against S. cerevisiae. Seventy percent ethanol extract from Laminaria japonica showed growth inhibition effect against all strains tested. while 90% ethanol extract showed against E. coli and B. subtilis.

The commutation relations of irreducible tensor operators with the total angular monentum, which are equivalent to the definition with the rotational transformation formula, have been derived. By these commuation relations we have surveyed simple properties of the irreducible tensor operators and Wigner-Eckart theorem. Also the analogy between the irreducible tensor algebra and the vector addition of the total angular momenta, to some extent, has been tried. Lastly, we have found that certain atomic physics problems could be attacked with this tensor method with the aid of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients.

In the learning of the neural network, Learning rate largely depends on the algorithm of network implementation, and is closely related to the weight length and computing speed. In this paper, we propose an algorithm to design digital logic systems and hardware using weighted control neural network with neuro-fuzzy architecture. The network for weight-control based on the mathmetical proposition has been proposed. The proposition use AT MOST n, AT LEAST n. The proposed algorithm has been applied to design JK flip-flop and ROM. The simulations shows that the proposed algorithm can simplify design of hardware, improve processing speed of system and implement synapse with good learning in the large neural network.

중재제도유용성과 부산지역기업들의 인식도에 관한 실증적 연구

In the era of globalization firms must operate all useable resources into marketing activities to survive on the unlimited competition. However, firms face many kinds of disputes with counterparts because of aggressive marketing activities. There are two ways of solving these disputes : litigation and arbitration. As compared to litigation, arbitration is more popular because of such merits as the enforcement of arbitral award in foreign countries, the single trial system, the settlement by specialists, and the confidential proceedings. This paper examines trade firms' perception on the arbitration system and the effects of the advantages of arbitration and quality of arbitrators on the outcome of arbitration. The results show that the advantages of arbitration and quality of arbitrators influenced positively on the outcome of arbitration, but influenced nagatively on the colsed-door of arbitration procedures and a fair procedure of arbitrator. Though this paper has several limitations, this paper may contribute to figure out the relationship between arbitration merits and quality of arbitrator and outcomes as a first empirical paper and to suggest future research method and direction.

마이크로파 플라즈마CVD에서 방출되는 656.4[nm]의 Hα와 거의 같은 정도의 감도를 가진 388.4[nm]의 피크를 조사하기 위하여 N2, N2-CH4, H2-CH4 및 Air-CH4 가스의 마이크로파 플라즈마로부터 방출되는 스펙트럼들을 조사하였다. N2-CH4 플라즈마와 Air-CH4 플라즈마로부터 방출되는 388.4[nm]의 피크는 N2로부터 방출되는 337.1, 357.8 및 316.0[nm]의 피크와 공존하기 때문에 CN의 피크로 판단되고, H2-CH4 플라즈마로부터 방출되는 388.4[nm]의 피크는 N2로부터 방출되는 337.1, 357.8 및 316.0[nm]의 피크가 나타나지 않았기 때문에 CH의 피크로 판단된다. The optical spectra of microwave plasma by four kinds of gases(N₂. N₂-CH₃. H₂-CH₄ and Air-CH₄) have been measured for investigating 388.4[nm] peak which has the same intensity as H_{a}(656.4[nm]) peak. A 388.4[nm] peak by N₂-CH₄plasma and Air-CH₄plasma may be CN peak becau se it is with 337.1. 357.8 and 316.0[nm] peaks by N₂. And a 388.4[nm] peak by H₂-CH₄plasma without by N₂337.1. 357.8 and 316.0[nm] peaks may be CH peak.
