      • 폴리머 콘크리트를 이용한 환경친화형 호안블럭 개발

        폴리머 콘크리트를 이용하여 호안블럭을 디자인하고 제작하였다. 제품의 표준화를 위하여 '폴리머 복합체를 이용한 호안블럭 제조용 시방서'를 작성하였다. 폴리머 콘크리트의 우수한 물리적 성질을 이용하고 환경 친화적인 호안블럭을 제작하기 위하여 중앙에 원형 홀이 있는 I형, 원형, 반원형 호안블럭을 디자인하였다. 중앙의 홀은 바닥재로 채워질 수 있도록 했으며 인공적인 색상보다는 주위의 환경과 어울리도록 식물을 조경할 수 있도록 하였다. 또한, 시판중인 호안블럭과 호환이 되도록 크기를 결정하였으며 자외선 흡수제를 첨가하여 제작하였다. 시방서에서 제시하는 방법으로 휨강도 및 흡수율을 측정하였다. Polymer concrete was used to produce the stone block. In order to make the blocks standardize, 'Specifications for Producing Stone Block using Polymer Concrete' was suggested I-type, circular type and semi-circular type of stone blocks were designed and produced, in which a circular hole was made to utilize the excellent physical properties of the polymer concrete and to produce the eco-friendly stone block. Instead of using artificial color, the hole was designed to be filled with the ground soil and then grass can be planted to make the blocks harmonize with surroundings. The dimensions of blocks were determined to fit the cement concrete block on the market and the ultra violet absorber was added in producing the blocks. Flexural strengths and absorption of the polymer concrete blocks were measured by the method regulated in the specification.

        방사선 치료후 시간경과에 따른 염색체이상 빈도의 변화

        임파구의 염색체이상 빈도로부터 피폭자의 흡수선량을 구하는 방법은 사고로 인해 급성피폭을 받는 경우 유용하게 사용될 수 있다. 그러나 방사선 피폭 후 시간이 경과함에 따라 불안정 염색체이상을 가진 임파구는 감소하게 된다. 이에 방사선 치료후 시간 경과에 따른 불안정 염색체이상 빈도의 변화를 규명하고자 한다. 전골반에 50.4 Gy의 방사선 치료를 받은 총 20명의 자궁경부암 또는 자궁내막암 환자를 대상으로 41개의 검체를 얻었다. 채혈의 시기는 방사선 치료후 1일 3주, 6주, 12주, 24주, 52주, 104주, 156주, 208주, 520주로 하였다. 이들 말초혈액의 임파구에 대해 전혈미세배양을 실시한 후 임파구의 불안정 염색체이상을 관찰하여 Ydr, Qdr, Qdra를 얻었다. Ydr 값은 방사선 치료가 끝난 직후부터 3주까지 plateau를 보였고 이후 감소하는 경향이었다. Ydr의 평균값은 치료후 3주에 0.29에서 급격히 감소하여 2년후 0.05로 감소하였으며 이후 5년까지 서서히 감소하였다. 회귀분석을 실시한바 Ydr = 0.259×exp(-0.0429T)+0.0560×exp(-0.00106T)(time in weeks)로 나타났다. Qdr값은 치료 직후부터 24주까지 1.51 전후로 거의 변화가 없었으며 이후 감소하여 52주 이후에는 1.17 전후로 거의 일정하였다. Qdra 값은 치료 직후부터 12주까지 1.10 전후이며 이후 감소하여 52주 이후에는 0.81 전후였다. 피폭 후 시간경과에 따른 Ydr 값의 감소는 두 component exponential 모델을 잘 맞고 이 식을 이용하여 생물학적 선량측정이 가능하다. Qdr 값 및 Qdra 값은 피폭후 시간경과가 짧은 경우 피폭선량을 추정하는 지료로 사용할 수 있다. It is good method to use frequency of chromosome aberration in lymphocytes for a biological dosimetry in cases of accidental exposure to radiation. But in cases of past edposure, biological dosimetry is limited because the friquency of aberration decreases by time after exposure. To provide a basic data for estimationof past radiation exposure, the changing pattern of frequency of unstable chromosome aberration by time interbal after exposure was studied. Observation was made on peripheral lymphocytes of 41 blood samples from 20 patients treated for uterine cervical carcinoma and endometrial caricinoma. The patients received 50.4 Gy radiation to whole pelvis. Elapsed times after the completion of radiation therapy were 1 day, 3, 6, 9, 12, 24, 52, 104, 156, 208, 260 and 520 weeks. All the blood sample were microcultured. The Ydr, Qdr and Qdra were calculated form frequency of unstable aberration. Ydr did not decrease for 3 weeks after radiation therapy, and thereafter, decreased very rapidly and reached 0.05 at two years after radiation therapy and decreased very slowly until 5 years after radiation therapy. Relationship between unstable chromosome aberration and time interval after radiation therapy was described as Ydr = 0.2590.259×exp(-0.0429T)+0.0560×exp(-0.00106T)(time in weeks) Qdr remained constant at 1.51 until 24 weeks after radiation therapy and then decreased to 1.17 at 52 weeks. Therafter, it did not change. Qdra remained constant at 1.10 for 12 weeks after radiation therapy and decreased to 0.81 at 52 weeks. Thereafter, it remanined constant. Two superimposed exponential Ydr disappearance rate wuggests that it is possible to calculate the past exposure dose. When the elapsed time after exposure is short, Qdr and Qdra are useful papameters for biological dosimetry for past radiation exposure.

      • IgE-binding reactivity of peptide fragments of Bla g 1.02, a major German cockroach allergen.

        <P>Cockroaches cause allergic diseases and are closely linked with the development of asthma. Bla g 1 is one of the major allergen proteins produced by German cockroaches. It consists of tandem repeats of approximately 100 amino acids. The aim of the present study was to identify linear IgE-binding epitopes of Bla g 1.02. RT-PCR was used to clone a cDNA sequence encoding Bla g 1.02 (EF202179) which shared 98.6-99.8% identity with a previously reported Bla g 1.02 (AF072220). To investigate IgE binding regions, five separate but overlapping Bla g 1.02 peptide fragments (A: aa 1-111, B: aa 102-215, C: aa 206-299, D: aa 289-403, E: aa 394-491) were amplified and cloned. The full-length and five peptide fragments were overexpressed in Pichia pastoris and E. coli, respectively, and their IgE binding reactivities were measured by ELISA using 37 serum samples isolated from cockroach-sensitized patients. The sera of 24 patients (64.9%) recognized the full-length Bla g 1.02 recombinant protein. Among 19 selected serum samples, 11 sera (57.9%) reacted to peptide fragment A, 5 sera (31.3%) to B, 4 sera (21.1%) to C, 9 sera (47.4%) to D, and 10 sera (52.6%) to peptide fragment E. IgE-binding epitopes are found to be distributed to each tandem repeat of Bla g 1. The combination of peptide fragments A, D, and E may able to detect all Bla g 1-sensitized subjects. We suggest that these peptide fragments may be useful in allergy diagnosis and the design of novel immunotherapeutics.</P>

        Nonlinear Toxicokinetics of Enrofloxacin in Rats

        The dose-dependent toxicokinetics of enrofloxacin were studied by administering various single subcutaneous doses (5, 10, 20, 40, 70, 100, 150, 200, 300 and 400 mg/kg) in male Sprague-Dawley rats. The blood samples were collected from the tail veins, and the plasma concentration of enrofloxacin was determined by an HPLC-fluorescence detection (FLD) method. The time-concentration profiles of enrofloxacin were well fitted by an one-compartmental model with first order elimination. The absorption half-lives ($t_{1/2abs}$) ranged from 0.2 - 0.8 h, and the mean time to maximum plasma concentration ($T_{max}$) ranged from 0.6 -1.8 h. On the other hand, marked disproportionate increases of the area under the curve (AUC) and elimination half-lives ($t_{1/2}$) were observed from the increase of the doses. This result indicates that the elimination of enrofloxacin has nonlinear pharmacokinetic properties with increasing doses. Therefore, we need to take into consideration the possible occurrence of side effects resulting from greater systemic exposure from high dose therapies.

        The Meditating Role of Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment in the Relationship between Each of Job Characteristics and Turnover Intentions of Shopping Center Employees

        The mediating role of job satisfaction and organizational commitment in the relationship between each of five job characteristics and turnover intentions was examined. Using Baron and Kenny(1986)'s approach for examining mediation hypotheses, results: (1) revealed that job satisfaction was a mediator in task significance-turnover intentions and autonomy-turnover intentions;(2) revealed that organizational commitment was a mediator in task identity-turnover intentions, task significance-turnover intentions, and autonomy-turnover intentions. The implications of the present findings were discussed.

        Effect of CLX Training Combined with PNF Pattern on Balance Ability

        Background: PNF patterns are the basis of human motion and can be expected to improve joint motion and coordination. Combined physical training with CLX training and PNF patterns can help to improve balance and perform functional mobility in the lower limb. The purpose of this study is to confirm the effect of CLX training combined with PNF pattern on balance ability. Design: Randomized Controlled Trial. Methods: Total 16 persons participate in this study and were randomly divided in two groups the experimental group and control group. In the experimental group, exercise program with PNF pattern and CLX was performed total 24 times for 8 weeks. In the exercise program, the PNF pattern composed of D1F and D2F was applied with CLX in five positions. Single limb hop test, Y-balance test and Balance Error scoring system were performed to evaluate the balance ability according to the interventions. Results: In the single limb hop, the experimental group revealed a significant difference than a control group (p<0.05).The result of balance error scoring system, experimental group revealed significant differences between before and after training and revealed significant differences than a control group (p<0.05). In the Y-balance test, the experimental group revealed significant differences than a control group in both side. Conclusion: The results of this study showed that the CLX exercise in combination with the PNF pattern had a positive effect on enhancing the balance ability of the normal adult and performing the functional mobility of the lower limb.
