농어촌 지역의 한방의료 이용 실태에 관한 조사 : 전남 신안군 장산면을 중심으로

The prevalence of disease is affected by cultural factors. Changing cultural and social pattern may modify patterns of disease. Today majority of labor force in rural community is elderly population with a concomitant increase in woman. We investigated prevalence of problems in rural population utilizing oriental medical clinic in Changsan-myon, Shinan-gun, Chunnam. The majority of patients in this area were female and in the 40 to 60s. Muscoskeletal problems had the highest incidence. Low back pain was leading complaints in the muscoskeletal problems and knee pain was the most common complaints in the digestive problems, headache in the neurologic problems. cough in the respiratory problems, hypertension in the circulatory problems, ear problems in the sense organ problems, pruritys in the dermatologic problems, leukorrhea and postmenopausal syndrome in the gynecologic problems, and dysuria and enuresis in the urinary problems. These results suggest that oriental medical physicians have attention to health care and management of the expanding population of elderly and female patients with high incidence of muscoskeietal problems in the rural community.
혼파초지에서 질소시비수준과 방목율이 목초 및 육우생산에 미치는 영향

Effects of N fertilizer levels and stocking rates on beef production in a mixed pastiire of orchard-grass, perennial ryegrass, tall fescue, red clover and alsike clover were studied using 3 levels of N fertilizer (50, 100 and 200 kg/ha) and 3 stocking rates (3,4 and 5 head /ha). The summarized results are the following; 1. Increasing nitrogen fertilizer on the mixed pasture increased dry matter yield and protein content(P<0.05) of the pasture species. The stocking rate did not influence either dry matter yield or protein content. 2. The percentage of pasture species increased and that of weeds decreased with increasing N fer-tilizer levels. lncreasing stocking rate from 3 to 5 heads/ha significantly influenced that of the other pastures and weeds. 3. Herhage intake per animal increased at the lower stocking rate, but total herbage intake per ha increased at the higher stocking rate, Increasing nitrogen fertilizer decreased herbage intake per animal , but slightly higher intake per animal was obserbed at 5 head stocking rate. 4. No significant difference in weight gain/ha was found among N levels and stocking rates ussd. Live weight gain per animal was greater at the higher N level and also at the louer stocking rate.

As the micro technology and miniaturization of a structure and component in the last couple of decades have been concretely realized, the understanding of structural and dynamic characteristics and prediction of dynamic behavior are indispensable to the miniaturized structures and micro machines. This paper shows the effect of dynamic characteristics in bolt-jointed structures by comparing natural frequencies and mode shapes between macro and micro-scale beams through experimental modal analysis and finite element analysis with a1 8 test models by materials, by size, and by joining condition; that is, SS41 and A16061-T651, micro and macro, and monolithic beam and bolt-jointed beam.
레반다이어트 식품섭취가 비만여성의 신체구성성분, 혈중 렙틴 및 지질수준에 미치는 영향

This study was to varify the effects of levan diet administration on body composition, blood leptin level and lipids components (TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C) in obese women during 8 weeks. The subjects of study were divided into 20-29year group (n=15) and 30-39year group (n=15) randomly selected. Administration of Levan Diet in this study was 2 times (breakfast, lunch or dinner) per day, 11tablets per 1times. Statistical method for data processing produced mean and SD of total variable. To analyze difference between groups and periods had executed 2? ANOVA. This study was given conclusion as follows: First, systolic blood pressure showed decrease after administration of levan diet in 30-39years, but it was not statistically significant. Second, body weight and %fat gradually decreased according to the application period of levan diet administration in 20-29years and 30-39years, and it was statistically significant (p<.05). Third, blood leptin level and blood lipid levels (TC, TG, LDL-C) showed decrease after administration of levan diet in 20-29years and 30-39years, but it was not statistically significant. In conclusion, this study shows that the administration of levan diet play a positive role as assistant diet. Therfore, levan diet administration should be recommended as ergogenic aids for these who do obese adults.

This study investigated the presence of nucleic acids of various Rickettsial agents in ticks collected in Jeju Island, Korea from June 2007 to August 2008, through the nested polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and sequencing analysis of partial citrate synthase (gltA), Rickettsial outer membrane protein B (ompB), and 17-kDa genes. Examination of the 1,584 ticks showed that the subspecies distribution of Haemaphysalis longicornis was 99.81% (n=1,581) and H. flava was 0.19% (n=3). A total 224 out of 250 pools from one to 15 ticks were found to be positive in ompB-PCR assay (minimal infection rate 141 ticks/1,000 tested). From the positive samples, 26 were analyzed by gltA- and 17-kDa-PCR assays. The nucleotide sequences of the ompB- and gltA-PCR products showed a high degree of similarity with those of the Rickettsia japonica (98.7~99.2% and 98.7~99.3%, n=25) and R. monacensis (99% and 99.7%, n=1). However, analysis of the nucleotide sequences of the 17-kDa-PCR amplicons showed that the sequences of the 25 PCR amplicons were more close to R. marmionii (99.4~100%) than R. japonica (98.6~99.1%). These findings suggest that various rickettsial diseases could be transmitted via the bite of tick vectors in Jeju Island, Korea.
Electron Tunneling and Electrochemical Currents through Interfacial Water Inside an STM Junction

The apparent barrier height for charge transfer through an interfacial water layer between a Pt/Ir tip and a gold surface has been measured using STM technique. The average thickness of the interfacial water layer inside an STM junction was controlled by the amount of moisture. A thin water layer on the surface was formed when relative humidity was in the range of 10 to 80%. In such a case, electron tunneling through the thin water layer became the majority of charge transfers. The value of the barrier height for the electron tunneling was determined to be 0.95 eV from the current vs. distance curve, which was independent of the tip-sample distance. On the other hand, the apparent barrier height for charge transfer showed a dependence on tip-sample distance in the bias range of 0.1-0.5 V at a relative humidity of approximately 96%. The non-exponentiality for current decay under these conditions has been explained in terms of electron tunneling and electrochemical processes. In addition, the plateau current was observed at a large tip-sample distance, which was caused by electrochemical processes and was dependent on the applied voltage.
濟州地方에서 播種期가 풋마늘의 生育 및 收量에 미치는 影響

This study was carried out to investigate the proper planting date and variety for early production of garlic in Cheju Island. The results obtained are as follows: 1) The emergence rate was accelerated when garlic was planted in August or later. Days to emergence increased when planted Septenber or later. 2) Jabong garlic showed the tallest plant height and the earlier the planting date (20 July), the plant height and leaf sheath length increased but the later the planting date (20 September), the height and sheatdh decreased. 3)There was no big differnce in leaf number among the vaieties and planting date. 4)The leafy garlic variety which can be harvested from Decenber to January was Jabong garlic,Namdo was Fevuary and Chejujaerae was March. 5)On Cheju Island, leafy garlic could be planted from July 20 to early September.
