N/A Asthmatic bronchitis and asthma are very common allergic diseases in the pediatric age group. These are lower respiratory disease which shows cough, wheeze and shortness of breath. Various rales and wheezing can be heard in asthma and asthmatic bronchitis if superimposed with pneumonia. It is often difficult to diagnosis clearly. So, we intended to know the allergic characteristics in these disease (asthma, asthmatic bronchitis, pneumonia) together. Eight hundred ninety eight cases (male; 587, female; 311) were taken allergic skin tests, peripheral eosinophil counts, serum total IgE, specific IgE and symptom scores who were admitted or visited outpatient clinic. 1) In the allergic skin tests, Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus (Dp) shows 39.2% over 2 positive and 4 positive reactivity was 42.3% in positive group, Dp reactions shows more sensitive than Df reactions. The skin reaction on egg was greater than milk but only about one percent in all cases. 2) Total IgE was shown no correlation with age, sex, PB eosinophil count, wheal and erythema on allergic skin test. 3) Total IgE and specific IgE for Dp, Df made gradual increment in percentage in according to going to upper class of IgE. 4) The Class 2 and Class 3 of total IgE appeared three-forth in all patients (class 2: low to moderate, class 3: high). Also, the rates were increased with age increment. In conclusion, total IgE and specific IgE (especially in Dp, Df) are more specific diagnostic tools in early age group compare to adult and old children who have asthma, pneumonia and other lower respiratory diseases.

현재 통신시스템에서는 FPGA를 사용하여 여러 가지 로직을 구현하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 데이터 전달 특성을 분석하고 신호의 노이즈와 데이터 손실을 방지하기 위하여 10층의 PCB(Printed Circuit Board)를 만들었다. FPGA에 클럭과 64bit의 데이터를 동기 시켜 전송선로의 길이의 변화와 입력된 클럭의 주파수 변화에 따른 최대 안정된 데이터 전달속도와 전송선로의 길이를 알아보았다. 제작된 PCB보드에서 FPGA의 출력 핀에서 출력포트 사이의 전송선로 길이는 13cm이며 확장된 테스트용 전송선로 보드의 길이는 30cm, 60cm, 120cm이다. 그러므로 전송선로의 길이를 13cm, 43cm, 73cm, 133cm간격으로 측정하였으며, 데이터 전송특성에 대한 클럭 주파수는 100MHz, 50MHz, 100MHz, 125MHz, 150MHz로 나누어 측정하였다. 데이터 전달 특성에서 125Mbps까지는 불가능 하지만 전송선로의 길이가 30cm일 경우 최대 100Mbps까지 안정하게 데이터를 전달할 수 있었다. FPGA has been widely used in communication system. In this paper, we made 10 layers PCB on protection of signal noise and data lose with FPGA. We analyzed about change of the data transmission speed and length according to input frequency. The length of transmission line from FPGA's output-pin to output-port on PCB board is 13cm and extended lengths for test are 30cm, 60cm and 10cm. We knew that data can be stably transmitted to 100Mbps at transmission line length of 30cm.

Mycoplasma pneumoniae infections have various clinical expressions. The pneumonia is most common disease caused by this organism. But extrapulmonary manifestations such as neurologic, hematologic, dermatologic, renal, musculoskeletal, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, immunologic manifestations can occur frequently, We experienced a fourteen years girl who has pneumonia caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae with severe hypotension during first 5 days of admission period. The hypotension became normalized gradually by dopamine continous infusion and antibiotics, ceftriaxone. But pulmonary infiltration improved after using erythromycin.

By human intestinal bacteria, glycyrrhizin (18${\beta}$-glycyrrhetic acid ${beta}$-D-glucuronyl.${\alpha}$-D-glucuronic acid, GL) and baicalin (baicalein ${\beta}$-D-glucuronic acid) were metabolized to glycyrrhetinic acid and baicalin, respectively. However, .${\alpha}$-glucuronidase of Bacteroides JY-6 isolated from human intestinal bacteria hydrolyzed GL or 18.${\beta}$-glycyrrhetinic acid ..${\alpha}$-D-glucuronic acid to 18${\beta}$-glycyrrhetic acid but did not baicalin. However, E. coli ${\beta}$-glucironidase from human intestinal bacteria hydrolyzed baicalin to baicalein, but did not GL.${\beta}$-Glucuronidase of mammalian tissues hydrolyzed both GL and baicalin.

목적: 최근 대장암이 증가 추세에 있는데, 그 전구병변으로 생각할 수 있는 용종 중에서 그 크기가 작은 경우(5 mm이하), 이미세용종의 조직학적 특징과 분포상태, 연령분포 등에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 대상 및 방법: 2001년 1월 1일부터 12월 31일까지 전북대학교 의과대학 부속병원 소화기내과에서 대장내시경상 미세용종(5 mm이하)이 발견된 299명의 환자를 대상으로 하였고 이 때 절제된 559예의 미세용종으로 후향성 연구를 시행하였다. 결과: 총 559예의 미세용종종 310개(55.5%)는 종양성 용종이었고 이 중 관상선종은 276개(49.4%), 관상융모성 선종은 3개(0.5%), 융모성 선종은 2개(0.4%), 혼합형은 29개(5.2%)였다. 대장내 분포상태로는 S상결장과 직장에 가장 많이 존재하였다. 그리고 우측대장, 횡행결장, 하행결장에서 종양성 용종이 더 많이 발견되었다. 결론: 대장내시경상 발견된 대장용종은 아주 작더라도 종양성 용종의 가능성이 높기 때문에 바로 제거하는 것이 좋으며 우측 대장에 종양성 용종의 높은 분포율로 보아 대장 내시경시에는 전체 대장을 검사하는게 좋을 것으로 사료된다. Objectives: Colon cancer is increasing nowadays, and we can consider polyps as precancerous lesions. Our aims were to determine histopathology and age, spatial distribution of small colonic polyps(<5 mm). Methods: We analyzed 299 patients with small colonic polyp evaluated at College of Medicine, Chonbuk National University from 1.1.2001 to 12.31.2001. Results: 559 small colonic polyps removed during colonoscopy have been analyzed. Of the small polyps, 55.5% were neoplastic and of the neoplastic polyps, 49.4% were tubular adenoma, 0.5% tubulovillous adenoma, 04% villous adenoma, 5.2% mixed types. The small colonic polyps were most common in the sigmoid colon and rectum. In the colon except the sigmoid colon and rectum, neoplastic polyps were more common than non-neoplastic polyps. Conclusion: All polyps should be removed when found during colonoscopy, because of the high prevalence of adenoma among small polyps. And we should exam exam in the entire colon because most small polyps proximal to the sigmoid colon are neoplastic.
다층 RIE Electrode를 이용한 아크릴의 O<sub>2</sub>/N<sub>2</sub> 플라즈마 건식 식각

We investigated dry etching of acrylic (PMMA) in $O_2/N_2$ plasmas using a multi-layers electrode reactive ion etching (RIE) system. The multi-layers electrode RIE system had an electrode (or a chuck) consisted of 4 individual layers in a series. The diameter of the electrodes was 150 mm. The etch process parameters we studied were both applied RIE chuck power on the electrodes and % $O_2$ composition in the $N_2/O_2$ plasma mixtures. In details, the RIE chuck power was changed from 75 to 200 W.% $O_2$ in the plasmas was varied from 0 to 100% at the fixed total gas flow rates of 20 sccm. The etch results of acrylic in the multilayers electrode RIE system were characterized in terms of negatively induced dc bias on the electrode, etch rates and RMS surface roughness. Etch rate of acrylic was increased more than twice from about $0.2{\mu}m/min$ to over $0.4{\mu}m/min$ when RIE chuck power was changed from 75 to 200 W. 1 sigma uniformity of etch rate variation of acrylic on the 4 layers electrode was slightly increased from 2.3 to 3.2% when RIE chuck power was changed from 75 to 200 W at the fixed etch condition of 16 sccm $O_2/4\;sccm\;N_2$ gas flow and 100 mTorr chamber pressure. Surface morphology was also investigated using both a surface profilometry and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The RMS roughness of etched acrylic surface was strongly affected by % $O_2$ composition in the $O_2/N_2$ plasmas. However, RIE chuck power changes hardly affected the roughness results in the range of 75-200 W. During etching experiment, Optical Emission Spectroscopy (OES) data was taken and we found both $N_2$ peak (354.27 nm) and $O_2$ peak (777.54 nm). The preliminarily overall results showed that the multi-layers electrode concept could be successfully utilized for high volume reactive ion etching of acrylic in the future.
