Selective emitter using a screen printed etch barrier in crystalline silicon solar cell

<P>The low level doping of a selective emitter by etch back is an easy and low cost process to obtain a better blue response from a solar cell. This work suggests that the contact resistance of the selective emitter can be controlled by wet etching with the commercial acid barrier paste that is commonly applied in screen printing. Wet etching conditions such as acid barrier curing time, etchant concentration, and etching time have been optimized for the process, which is controllable as well as fast. The acid barrier formed by screen printing was etched with HF and HNO<SUB>3</SUB> (1:200) solution for 15 s, resulting in high sheet contact resistance of 90 Ω/sq. Doping concentrations of the electrode contact portion were 2 × 10<SUP>21</SUP> cm<SUP>−3</SUP> in the low sheet resistance (Rs) region and 7 × 10<SUP>19</SUP> cm<SUP>−3</SUP> in the high Rs region. Solar cells of 12.5 × 12.5 cm<SUP>2</SUP> in dimensions with a wet etch back selective emitter <I>J</I><SUB>sc</SUB> of 37 mAcm<SUP>−2</SUP>, open circuit voltage (<I>V</I><SUB>oc</SUB>) of 638.3 mV and efficiency of 18.13% were fabricated. The result showed an improvement of about 13 mV on <I>V</I><SUB>oc</SUB> compared to those of the reference solar cell fabricated with the reactive-ion etching back selective emitter and with <I>J</I><SUB>sc</SUB> of 36.90 mAcm<SUP>−2</SUP>, <I>V</I><SUB>oc</SUB> of 625.7 mV, and efficiency of 17.60%.</P>

Recent development of fiber optic sensors made structural health monitoring of structures cost effective. In this paper, FBG sensors are evaluated for static and dynamic measurement of a bridge. In order to assess the usability of FBG fiber optic sensors for short-term bridge measurement, the FBG sensors and conventional strain gauges are installed at the same points and the strain results are compared.

Conventional treatments accessible to breast cancer survivors after diagnosis include cancer therapies with cardiotoxic effects such as trastuzumab and/or anthracycline-based chemotherapy, which can result in undesirable cardiac injuries known as cancer therapy-induced cardiotoxicity. Cancer therapy-induced cardiotoxicity is among a variety of cardiovascular comorbidities responsible for increased mortality in cancer survivors, and when accompanied by preexisting cardiovascular comorbidities, this detrimental side effect becomes a major health concern. Breast cancer survivors may be predisposed to this additional concern due to preexisting comorbidities related to cardiovascular diseases such as obesity, hypertension, and type 2 diabetes. Research in the rapidly emerging field of study which focuses on improving cardiovascular health in cancer survivors, known as cardio-oncology, reveals that exercise can improve the aforementioned comorbidities in clinical settings. However, the evidence has not been comprehensively evaluated to prescribe exercise as a clinical therapeutic option to improve cardiovascular health in breast cancer survivors. Therefore, the purpose of this review is to summarize the current evidence on the effects of exercise on cardiovascular outcomes in women with breast cancer at three different time points; before, during, and after cancer therapy. In addition, current knowledge gaps and future directions in the field of exercise science and cardio-oncology will be addressed.

<P>Several radiolabeled folic acid conjugates have been developed for targeted imaging and therapy. However, the therapeutic concept with radiolabeled folate conjugates has not yet been applied to clinical applications owing to the high renal absorbed dose. The effectiveness of targeted radionuclide therapy (TRT) depends primarily on the absorbed dose rate and on the total absorbed dose delivered to the tumor and to normal tissue. Owing to various limitations associated with organ level dosimetry, voxel-based dosimetry has become essential for the assessment of a more accurate absorbed dose during TRT. In this study, we synthesized iron oxide nanoparticle (IONP)-conjugated radiolabeled folate (<SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate) and performed voxel-based dosimetry using SPECT/CT images of normal mice through direct Geant4 application for emission tomography (GATE) Monte Carlo (MC) simulation. We also prepared <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-Folate and <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONPs for the comparison of absorbed doses with that of <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate. In addition, we calculated the mean absorbed dose at the organ-level using the medical internal radiation dose (MIRD) schema. The radioactivities of all three radiotracers were mainly accumulated in the liver and kidneys immediately after injection. For the kidneys, the voxel-based absorbed doses obtained with <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate, <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-Folate, and <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONPs were 1.01 ± 0.17, 2.46 ± 0.50, and 0.52 ± 0.08 Gy/MBq, respectively. The renal absorbed dose decreased significantly (∼half) when <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate was used compared with when the <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-Folate only was used. The mean absorbed dose values obtained at organ-level using the MIRD schema were comparable to voxel-based absorbed doses estimated with GATE MC. The voxel-based absorbed dose values obtained in this study of individualized activity show that the renal absorbed dose could be reduced to almost half with <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate. Therefore, <SUP>177</SUP>Lu-IONP-Folate could be clinically applicable in the TRT of folate receptor-positive cancers in a personalized manner when using the voxel-based dosimetry method.</P> [FIG OMISSION]</BR>

본 논문에서는 광학 시스템의 대칭성을 이용하여 프리젠테이션시 마우스와 같이 사용할 수 있는 레이저펜 시스템을 제안한다. 성능 평가를 위해 비슷한 상황에서 사용될 수 있는 자이로스코프 타입 포인팅 디바이스, 트랙볼 타입 포인팅 디바이스와 비교 실험한 결과 절대 좌표계를 이용하는 레이저펜 시스템이 가장 우수한 결과를 보였다.
