      • 액체크로마토그래피/질량분석법을 이용한 랫트 혈장내의 Surfactin C의 정량법에 관한 연구

        Surfactin isolated from Bacillus subtilis has a strong surface tension-lowering activity, together with antiviral, antitumor, fibrinolytic and hypocholesterolemic activities. LC/MS is a simple, rapid and effective technique for the determination of surfactin C in rat serum. The separation of surfactin was achieved on reverse phase column. The mobile phase consisted of 0.1% trifluoracetic acid in water (A) and acetonitrile (B). As a result of analysis of blank rat serum samples, matrix interference was not shown. The values of precision and accuracy were satisfied w the guideline. A newly developed LC/MS method for the determination of surfactin C was successfully applied in its pharmacokinetic analysis.

      • Pyriminobac-methyl과 azimsulfuron 합제의 신규제형인 분산형 정제에 대한 독성 평가

        Dispersible tablets disintegrate either to form a stabilized suspension rapidly in water, or to disperse instantaneously in the rice field without the aid of water. In this study, the newly formulated dispersible tablet form of herbicidal combination, pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron, was evaluated the safety for human and animals in the toxicological viewpoints. The LD_(50) value of dispersible tablet form for pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron was above 2,500 mg/kg for the oral route and above 2,000 mg/kg for the dermal route. It is considered to have low acute oral and dermal toxicity based on the findings of the present studies. In addition, the combination of pyriminobac-methyl and azimsulfuron showed mild skin irritant under the conditions of this study and conjunctival redness and slight opacity on cornea appeared from 1 hour after application.

      • 반건식-백필터에 의한 소각배가스 중의 HCI, SOx 제거 (Ⅰ)

        This study has been carried out to investigate the removal efficiencies of HCl/SOx in a Spray-Dryer/Fabric-Filter system. In HCl/SOx removal, we could identify the key factors such as spray dryer outlet temperature, molar equivalence ratio(MER) and fabric filter velocity, but we couldn't find out the correlation of HCl and SOx. The removals of HCl/SOx were inversely proportional to spray dryer outlet temperature(l30~170℃) and filter velocity(l.0~1.5 m/min), at the MER, HCl removal efficiency was strongly proportional to MER, but SOx, removal efficiency was not particularly increased by MER over 1.5. The removal efficiencies of HCl/SOx were improved over 10% at the fabric filter. In this Spray-Dryer/Fabric-Filter system, HCl/SOx removal efficiencies were about 99%, 96% respectively.

      • 스캔 설계 법칙 검사에 관한 연구

        Since testing of digital circuit is becoming increasingly important, many methodologies have been introduced to enhance design for testability (DFT). DFT was taken into account in the automated test procedure and improved reliability of the design. Both tasks are well suited for scan rule checker. This paper presents a scan rule checker for gate level digital circuits. The scan rule checker deals with basic rule check, basic scan rule check, muxed scan rule check, clocked scan rule check and lssd. Scan design informations were represented in the configuration file and libraries were modeled for the scan rule checker. It is an efficient way for the design for testability methodology.

      • 후복막강경 근치적 신적출술 : 개복 근치적 신적출술과의 비교

        Purpose: Although kidney is located in the retroperitoneal space laparoscopic radical nephrectomy is usually performed by the transperitoneal approach. At our institution the retroperitoneal approach is preferred. We evaluated the surgical outcomes, safety, oncologic outcomes, and compared with the results those of open radical nephrectomy in a contemporary cohort. Materials and Methods: Between January 2000 and December 2005 we performed retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy for renal cell carcinoma in 37 patients with clinical stage cT1 and cT2. Data from the these patients were retrospectively compaired with 30 contemporary cases treated with open radical nephrectomy. The clinical parameters including perioperative outcomes, complications, pathologic data, learning curve and recurrence were evaluated. Results: For the 37 retroperitoneal radical nephrectomies mean tumor size was 4.6cm (range 2.3 to 8.0), surgical time was 203.6min (range 110-410) and blood loss was 241.8cc. Mean specimen size was 10.4cm (8.7-14.4). Mean analgesic used day was 1.3 (0-4) and mean postoperative hospital stay was 4.2 days. minor complications occur in 16 cases and no major complications occurred. Surgical margins were negative for tumor in all patients. Variable parameters were comparable between patients undergoing laparoscopic and open radical nephrectomy. However, laparoscopy resulted in decreased blood loss, surgical times, analgesia use, time to oral intake, time to drain removal and postoperative hospital stay. No different complication rate is between two groups Conclusions: Retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy can be a safe and effective treatment in renal cell carcinoma. Although no long-term follow-up is available, our follow up to mean 31 months confirm the effectiveness of retroperitoneal laparoscopic radical nephrectomy in terms of surgical principles and oncological effectiveness.

      • 음낭외상시 고환파열에 대한 초음파 검사의 진단적 유용성

        Purpose: We determined the use of scrotal ultrasonography in the initial diagnosis and management of testicular injuries due to blunt scrotal trauma. Mateiials and Methods: We reviewed 54 patients of scrotal trauma in the last 8 years. Forty patients were evaluated by ultrasonography preoperatively. A heterogeneous echo pattern of the testicular parenchyma with loss of oval shape, contour definition was the basis for diagnosis of testicular rupture. Among them, 33 cases underwent scrotal exploration and 7 cases were managed conservatively. The remaining 14 patients were evaluated only by physical examination, 8 patients of them were explored immediately because of suspicious testicular mpture. The accuracy of ultrasonography were determined by comparing radiographic interpretations with intraoperative findings. Results: Among the 33 patients who were evaluated by ultrasonography and explored immediately, there were 26 suspected testicular ruptures on ultrasonography. Surgical exploration revealed testicular rupture in 23 and simple hematoma in 10. The testicular rupture was correctly diagnosed by ultrasonography in the 22 cases, and there were 4 false-positive and 1 false-negative diagnoses of testicular rupture. The sensivity and specificity for the diagnosis of testicular rupture are 96% and 60%, and the positive and negative predictive values are 85% and 86%, respectively, Conclusions: Scrotal ultrasonography, with the main radiographic finding of a heterogeneous echo pattern of the testicular parenchyma with loss of oval shape, contour definition, is highly sensitive on the diagnosis of testicular rupture. And it increases the salvage rate for testicular rupture with preservation of the testicular function and prevents delayed complications of chronic pain, atrophy and orchiectomy associated with missed testicular rupture.

        온도 변화가 교정용 니켈-티타늄 호선의 하중값에 미치는 영향

        초탄성 니켈-티타늄 호선의 하중값은 온도 변화에 따라 변화함이 보고된 바 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 온도가 변화함에 따라 니켈-티타늄 합금 호선의 하중값이 어떻게 변화하는지 알아보고자 하였다. 37℃ 항온 상태에서 0.016" x 0.022" 니켈-티타늄 호선을 3.1mm까지 변위시키는 3점 굴곡 실험을 시행하여 하중 시와 탈하중 시의 1.5mm 변위지점의 하중값을 측정하고 이 지점에서 구강내 온도 변화를 고려한 온도 변화 실험을 시행하였다. 20℃ 저온수 또는 50℃ 고온수를 호선에 흘려보냄으로써 온도 변화를 주었다. 저온 실험은 저온수로 온도 변화를 주고 37℃ 항온 온도로 회복된 후에 다시 저온수를 흐르게 하는 방법으로 10회 시행하였고 고온 실험도 동일한 방법으로 시행하였다. 그 결과 하중 시 1.5mm 변위지점의 하중값은 저온 실험 및 고온 실험 후 37℃로 회복된 후에도 모두 감소된 값을 유지하였다. 반대로 실제로 치아에 가해지는 교정력으로 생각되는 탈하중 시 1.5mm 변위 지점의 하중값은 저온 실험 및 고온 실험 후 온도가 37℃로 회복되어도 모두 증가된 값을 유지하였다. 이상의 결과를 종합해 볼 때 온도변화를 거친 후 초탄성 니켈-티타늄 합금 호선의 하중 시 힘은 감소하였고 탈하중 시 힘은 증가되므로, 임상에서 니켈-티타늄 호선을 적용 시에는 37℃에서의 하중-변위 곡선에서 나타나는 힘에 비해 더 작은 하중 시 힘과 더 큰 탈하중 시 힘이 적용될 수 있음에 유의하여야 한다. Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the influence of intraoral temperature changes on the orthodontic force level of a superelastic nickel-titanium alloy wire. Methods: Nickel-titanium archwires of 0.016" x 0.022" thickness were tested with a three point bending test setup, and temperature changes were applied. The force level changes according to temperature changes were measured at a 1.5mm deflection during the loading phase and a 1.5mm deflection during the unloading phase from a deflection to 3.1mm. Ten cycles of thermal cycling from baseline (37℃) to cold (20℃) or hot (50℃) temperature were applied. Results: After thermal cycling, the force level during the loading phase decreased and the force level during the unloading phase increased even after the temperature was changed to the initial 37℃. Conclusions: The results suggest that the orthodontic force level can not return to the initial force level after temperature changes. When applying superelastic nickel-titanium archwires, we must consider that a lighter force than the loading force and a heavier force than the unloading force will be applied after intraoral temperature changes caused by eating and drinking.

      • Carbosulfan의 피부자극성, 안점막 자극성 및 피부감작성등의 알러지성 효과에 관한 연구

        Many studies have been published on the human health effects of carbosulfan toxicity. Carbosulfan used as an insecticide can produce an irritating and allergenic effect when acting on the skin. In this study, a sensitization test on albino guinea pigs and intradermal reactivity and occular irritation test on albino rabbits were carried out with carbosulfan. Signs of acute skin inflammation appeared along with the clinical symptom of chronic dermatosis caused by the solution irritating characteristics. Moreover, carbosulfan showed severe eye irritation with conjuctival redness and severe opacity on cornea. Preventive measures should involve workers' obligatory instructions on the noxious impact on human skin and strict observance of industrial safety rules.

        Metamifop, (R)-2-[4-[(6-chloro-2-benzoxazolyloxyphenoxy]-N-(2-fluorophenyl)-N-methyl propanamide, was newly developed by Dongbu Hannong Chemicals in Korea. In the present study we conducted acute oral toxicity and acute dermal toxicity test. The values of LD_(50) of metamifop was found to be over 5,000 mg/kg for ICR mice. On the other hand, metamifop showed no acute dermal toxicity to SD rats.

        원주지역에서 발생한 비외상성 심정지의 일주변화

        To estimate the quality of the emergency medical services system of Wonju City, we studied the diurnal variations of 179 non-traumatic cardiac arrest victims who received cardiopulmonary reuscitation at the emergency center of Wonju Christian Hospital. Diurnal variations of non-traumatic cardiac arrest patients were as follows ; The occurence of cardiac arrest at day-time was higher than night-time; 18 cases (11%) from midnight to AM 4, 25 cases (14%) from AM 4 to AM 8, 42 cases (24%) from AM 8 to AM 12, 46 cases (25%) from AM 12 to PM 4, 35 cases (19%) from PM 4 to PM 8, 13 cases (7%) from PM 8 to midnight. Witness cardiac arrest was increased more during the day than night ; 40% from midnight to AM 4, 48% from AM 4 to AM 8, 57% from AM 8 to AM 12.52% from AM 12 to PM 4, 60% from PM 4 to PM 8, 38% from PM 8 to midnight. The transportation time at night-time cardiac arrest was more longer than day-time cardiac arrest ; 30±12mins from midnight to AM 4, 26±9mins from AM 4 to AM 8, 27±12mins AM 8 to Am 12, 25±11mins from AM 12 to PM 4, 25±9mins from PM 4 to PM 8, 35±15mins from PM 8 to midnight. The rate of restoration of spontaneous circulation(ROSC) in day-time cardiac arrest was higher than the night-time cardiac arrest ; 30% from midnight to AM 4, 36% from AM 4 to AM 8, 32% AM 8 to AM 12, 44% from AM 12 to PM 4, 41% from PM 4 to PM 8, 15% from PM 8 to midnight. The survival rate of cardiac arrest has been correlated with collapse time, early bystander CPR, early advanced care. To improve outcome for prehospital cardiac arrest, we concluded that early bystander CPR, and early advanced life support should be performed at the scene and during the transportation especially at night.
