        소양호의 어류군집 동태

        2001년 4월부터 2002년 9월까지 소양호의 어류군집 동태를 조사한 결과는 다음과 같다. 조사된 어류는 총 11과 38종이었다. 한국 고유종은 P. tenuicorpus, C. splendidus, S. gracilis majimae, S. japonicus coreanus, H. mylodon, G. brevibarba, M. yaluensis, M. longidorsalis, C. koreensis, C. rotundieaudata, S. microdorsalis, P. koreanus, L. andersoni, C. herzi, O. patycephala 등 15종(40.54%)이었다. 우점종은 Z. platypus(39.60%), H. olidus(39.47%), S. gracilis majimae(12.24%), S. japonics coreanus(2.11%), P. fulvidraco(1.48%), L. macrochirus(1.40%) 등이었다. 채집된 어종들의 생체량을 보면 Z. platypus가 19.48㎏, H. olidus로 8.75㎏, C.cuvieri 7.42㎏, L. maeroehirus 7.39㎏, H. labeo 6.85㎏의 순으로 나타났다. 소양호에서 확인된 도입종은 A. japonica, H. eigenmanni, H. olidus, P. altivelis, C. urotaenius, R. giurinus, T. brevispinis, C. carpio(Israeli type), c. euvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, L. macrochirus, M. salmoides, I. puntatus 등 13종이었다. 이 중 C. carpio(Israeli type), C. cuvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, L macrochirus, M. salmoides, I. puntatus는 국외종이며, A. japonica, H. eigenmanni, H. olidus, P. altivelis, C. urotaenius, R. giurinus, T. brevispinis 등은 국내 다른 하천ㅇ로부터 유입된 종이다. The dynamics of the fish community in Lake Soyang, Korea, was investigated from April 2001 to September 2002. During the surveyed period 38 species belonging 11 families were collected. There were 15 Korean endemic species 39.47%, including Pseudopungtungia tenuicorpus, Coreoleuciscus splendidus, Squalidus gracilis majimae, S. japonicus coreanus, Hemibarbus mylodon, Gobiobotia brevibarba, Microphysogobio yaluensis, Microphysogobio longidorsalis, Iksookimia koreensis, Iksookimia rotundicaudata, Silurus microdorsalis, Pseudobagrus koreanus, Liobagrus andersoni, Coreoperca herzi, and Odontobutis platycephala. Dominant species were Zacco platypus (39.60%), Hypomesus olidus (31.70%), Squalidus gracilis majimae (12.24%), Squalidus japonicus coreanus (2.11%), Pseudobagrus fulvidraco (1.48%) and Lepomis macrochirus (1.40%). The biomass of collected fishes were Zacco platypus (19.48 ㎏), Hypomes olidus (8.75 ㎏), Carassilus cuvieri (7.42 ㎏), Lepomis macrochirus (7.39 ㎏) and Hemibarbus labeo (6.85 ㎏). Of the 13 introduced fishes in Lake Soyang Cyprinus carpio (israeli type), Carassius cuvieri, Onchorhynchus mykiss, Lepomis macrochirus, Micropterus salmoides and Ictalurus puntatus were originated from foreign countries but Anguilla japonica, Hemiculter eigenmanni, Hypomesus olidus, Plecoglossus altivelis, Chaenogobius urotaenius, Rhinogobius giurinus. Thridentiger brevispinis were introduced from other native river systems.

        The purpose this study intended to examine the effect of the 10 week sensory-motor functional training For this, subjects were assigned 12 discus throwers in Men's middle school and high school in C Province into two group of 6 people : the experimental group that was trained for the program involving 10 week sensory-motor functional training and the control group that was trained as a general training program to improve their agility, power and balance. The power motor ability(Standing long jump, shot-put) and the agility motor ability(20 m zigzag step test, side step test) of each group were measured before and after the training assigned each other and the dynamic balance ability test and single-leg stance were measured for balance ability test. After analyzing the ANCOVA on the pre-test and post-test, The study results were as followings: First the discus throwers trained by the 10 week sensory-motor functional training were better than the discus throwers trained bythe existing program for improving power and ability on the record of power motor ability(shot-put). Second, the discus throwers trained by the 10 week sensory-motor functional training were better than the discus throwers trained by the existing program for improving power and ability on the record of agility motor ability(side step test). Lastly, the discus throwers trained by the 10 week sensory-motorfunctional training were better than the discus throwers trained by the existing program for improving power and ability on the record of balance ability(single leg stance). For this reason, 10 week sensory-motor functional training will improve the power, agility and balance ability which are fundamental physical fitness for discus throwers. Therefore, it may imply that the 10 week sensory-motor functional training results in good competitions for all discus throwers.

        Since services in ATM networks are very various and the characteristic of traffic from services is very different from each one, shared buffer mechanism, that shares only one buffer, cannot satisfy QoS, requirement for traffics. Furthermore, it has more difficulty in controlling composite cells in buffer when large ATM switch is implemented. In this paper, we propose cell service scheduling of separated routing allocation mechanism that allocates respective, independent buffer to cells with same traffic characteristic according to priority. We analyzed its performance using computer simulation. Then, we obtained cell loss probability changing buffer size and weighted value, when cell service scheduling is done by unsymmetrical round-robin depending on weighted value that is allocated to respective buffer.

        The mixture of alcohol ether sulfate (AES) are linear aekylhenzene sulfate (LAS), raw materials of syndets were reacted with methylene blue (MB). From the NMR spectrum of the products obtained, the mixing ratio of LAS to AES was determined and the presence of branched alkylbenzene sulfate(ABS) in LAS was determined.

        Mixtures of nonionic and anionic detergents were completely separated by thin layer chromatography (TLC), and column chromatography (CC, UV detector, 277nm) in ionic species. It was possible to extract linear alkylbenzene sulfonate (LAS) from samples of anionic detergents with the method of (1) hydrolysis and (2) reformation of salt, and the existence of branched alkylbenzene sulfonate (ABS, isomer of LAS), which was known as one of the main factors affecting water pollution, was identified by NMR spectrum.

        결핵성 흉막염의 치료에 있어서의 프레드니솔론의 효과

        Tuberculous pleurisy is a relatively common form of extrapulmonary tuberculosis. To evaluate whether prednisolone treatment can prevent pleural adhesion and result in early absorption of effusion in tuberculosu pleurisy, we studied 51 cases of exudative tuberulous pleurisy patients from Dec. 51 to Aug. 1987 by prospective randomized trials. Prednisolone was administered 5㎎/㎏/day for 3 wks in the steroid group. The results obtained were as follows: 1) At 3 months after treatment, the effusion was nearly absorbed in 6 of 18(33.3%) patients of steroid group, in 4 of 33(12.2%) patients of the non steroid group, and in 10 of the total 51(19.6%) patients. 2) At 9 months after treatment, pleural adhesion above the minimal degree was observed in 17 of 33(51. 5%). patients of the steroid group, in 8 of 18(44.4%) patients of non steroid group, and in 25 of 51(49.0%) patients in total. Among those patients, severe adhesion was developed in 2 of 51(4%) patients. 3) Pleural adhesion was developed in 14 of 33(42.4%) patients of the small amount group and 11 of 18(61.1%) patients of the large amount group. 4) Pleural adhesion was developed in 7 of 15(46.4%) patients of the early treatment group(<10 days of symptom onset), and 18 of 36(50%) patients of the late treatment group(>10 days). In conclusion, pleural adhesion was observed in a relatively large number of patients with tuberculous pleurisy after chemotherapy. Prednisolone resulted in early absorption of fluid, but could not prevent pleural adhesion significantly.

      • Utilizing Cognitive Work Analysis for the Lifecycle of Systems - From Construction to Decommissioning in the Nuclear Power Plant

        Objective: The aim of this study is to investigate the applicability of Cognitive Work Analysis (CWA; Rasmussen et al., 1994b; Vicente, 1999) in the life cycle and decommissioning phase of nuclear power plant (NPP) as holistic systems perspectives. Background: NPP is widely accepted as a representative complex socio-technical system. Although most researches and literatures on the socio-technical system approach for NPP have focused on the operation and design phase of the systems, few studies deals with decommissioning NPP including operation. Each phase has an intrinsic system cycle, and it is worth to research the relationship between phases in the holistic perspectives. Method: CWA is a framework for analyzing complex socio-technical systems, which is consisted of five phases as modeling work. We have used the five phases of CWA at various points across system life cycle of reactor phase. System life cycle in the reactor phases were classified into seven stages and specified the relevant attributes. In addition, we have applied the CWA framework the in the decommissioning phase by selecting the realistic simulator of remote dismantling system as complex technology. Conclusion: The paper gives an opportunity to review the applicability of CWA and the relevant attributes across the system life cycle in the phases of NPP. In particular, CWA have found that it provides significant insight into phases of decommissioning. We have tried the CWA modeling for design of remote dismantling simulator which is considered the system life cycle. In addition, the applicability of CWA for the transferring of knowledge and experience has been presented. Application: The results of utilizing CWA might help to assist the designing and internalization of core technologies in the decommissioning phase of NPP. Furthermore, it is expected to be useful for establishing a worker’s safety assessment and training model.

      • Effects of seaweed Laminaria japonica extracts on skin moisturizing activity in vivo.

        <P>Twelve species of edible seaweed from the coast of Korea were screened for skin moisturizing activity. We placed the lead of a Corneometer on an approximately 6-cm2 test area of the forearm and measured both untreated skin (control) and skin treated with test moisturizing creams either containing or not containing 5% water:propylene glycol (50:50) extracts of seaweeds. Over the 8-h observation period, the strongest activity of the Laminaria japonica extracts occurred at the 2-h period. For the 10% extract, hydration with the L. japonica extract increased by 14.44% compared with a placebo. Transepidermal water loss (TEWL) was also measured using a test cream with 10% L. japonica extract. For up to 8 h after applying the creams, TEWL was decreased to 4.01 g/cm2, which was approximately 20% of that seen with the control. We suggest that the L. japonica extract hydrates skin via the humectants and hydrocolloids that it contains. To confirm the safety of L. japonica extracts, we performed a patch test on human skin. The results suggested that at moderate doses humans can safely use the extracts. For commercial applications, we evaluated the physicochemical characteristics of the test cream products, including Hunter L, a, and b values; pH; refractive index; and coefficient of viscosity. L. japonica extract did not affect overall formulations of the test cream product in any of the tested aspects. These results suggest that L. japonica extract is a promising ingredient in moisturizing formulations.</P>
