In the present study, the synthesis of phenoxy methyl ethylene carbonate from carbon dioxide and phenyl glycidyl ether was investigated using polymer-immobilized quaternary ammonium salts as catalysts. The catalysts were prepared by partial emulsion copolymerization of styrene(ST), divinylbenzene(DVB) and vinylbenzyl chloride(VBC). The influence of VBC concentration, the degree of crosslinking, partial polymerization time and the structure of trialkyl amine of quaternary salts on the catalytic behavior was discussed.
해양구조물용 RE36강의 용접부 부식거동 및 SSRT법에 의한 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

A study on the corrosion behavior of RE36 steel for marine structure was investigated with parameters such as micro-Victors hardness, corrosion potential and corrosion current density measurement of weld metal(WM), base metal(BM) and heat affected zone(HAZ), Al anode generating current and Al anode weight loss quantity in case of cathodic protection. And we carried out slow strain rate test(SSRT) in order to research mechanical properties such as stress at maximum load, percent strain, time to fracture and strain to failure ratio etc and to find out limiting cathodic polarization potential far hydrogen embrittlement with applied cathodic polarization potential. Hardness of HAZ part was the highest among those three parts and also galvanic corrosion susceptibility was the highest in HAZ part among those three parts due to the lowest corrosion potential than other parts. However corrosion current density was the highest in WM part among those three parts. And the optimum cathodic polarization potential showing the best mechanical properties obtained by SSRT method with applied constant cathodic potential was from -770mV to -876mV(SCE). However it is suggested that limiting cathodic polarization potential indicating hydrogen embrittlement on the mechanical properties was under -900mV(SCE).

본 연구는 1996년부터 2000년까지 축산기술연구소 남원지소에서 사육되고 있는 한국 재래 산양의 발육형질 자료를 이용하였다. 조사형질로는 생시, 3개월령, 6개월령 체중으로 개체모형(Animal model)을 이용하여 분석하였고, 고정효과로 성별, 출생년도-계절, 사양형태를 고려하였으며, 각 형질에 대한 분산성분 및 유전모수를 추정하기 위하여 MTDFREML Program을 이용하였다 본 연구에서 얻어진 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 생시, 3개월령, 6개월령의 평균체중은 각각 1.78±0.32, 7.99±2.66, 12.08±3.20㎏이었고, 부수적으로 조사된 3개월령과 6개월령 평균체위는 각각 체고가 36.46, 40.27㎝, 체장은 38.06, 42.01㎝, 흉위는 45.56, 51.07㎝이었다. 생시, 3개월령, 6개월령 체중에 대한 개체의 유전력은 각각 0.66, 0.34, 0.27이었으며, 생시와 3개월령 체중에 대한 모체의 유전력은 각각 0.28, 0.03으로 추정되었고, 분산성분과 유전모수 추정결과 생시와 3개월령 체중에 대해서는 모체유전효과가 중요하게 작용되었으며, 3개월령 체중에서는 모체환경효과가 고려되어야 하나, 6개월령 체중에서는 모체유전효과가 중요하지 않는 것으로 분석되었다. Data were collected from 1996 through 2000 on Korean Native Goats by the National Livestock Research Institute of Korea were used to estimate genetic parameters for birth, 3 month, and 6 month body weights. Estimates were obtained with MTDFREML. Model included animal and maternal genetic and residual effect. The model included sex, birth, year-season, and feeding type as fixed factors. Average body weights and standard deviation were 1.78±0.32 at birth of age, 7.99±2.66 at 3 month of age, and 12.08±3.20 ㎏ at 6 month of age, respectively. Average body measurements were 36.46㎝ for withers height, 38.06㎝ for body length, and 45.56㎝ for heart girth at 3 month of age, and were 40.27㎝ for withers height, 42.01㎝ for body length, and 51.07㎝ for heart girth at 6 month of age, respectively. Estimates of heritability were 0.66 for birth weight, 0.34 for 3 month body weight, and 0.27 for 6 month body weight, respectively. Maternal effects would be important for birth and 3 month body weights and may not be needed in a model for 6 month body weight.
택시운전수들의 혈중 Vanadium 함량에 관한 조사연구

Automobiles using fossil fuel as a power source give out a significant amount of exhaust gas including vanadium, which causes air pollution and may lead to significant health problems for the general population. For the purpose of indirectly evaluating the effect of vanadium on urban air pollution and obtaining the basic data to its subsequent health effects, the authors determined vanadium levels in blood of 107 taxi drivels in Pusan by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrophotometry, and the control group was 76 college students. The survey was taken from August 1985 to November 1985. The obtained results were as follows : 1.The mean concentration of vanadium in blood of drivers was 29.5±16.0ppb, and it was higher than 21.6±16.7ppb of the control group(p<0.01). 2.The mean concentration of vanadium in blood of drivers was not dependent on age of drivers nor driving duration.
SCM440강 용접부의 내식성에 미치는 용접후 열처리효과에 관한 전기화학적 연구

The effect of poet-weld heat treatment(PWHT) of SCM440 steel was investigated with parameters such as micro-Vickers hardness, corrosion potential, polarization behaviors, galvanic current, Al anode generating current and Al anode weight loss, etc. Each hardness of three paras(HAZ, BM, WM) by PWHT is lower than each of as-welded parts. However, hardness of WM area was the highest among those three parts in case of both PWHT and as-welded. Corrosion potential of WM part was the highest among those three parts and WM area was also acted as cathode without regard to PWHT. The magnitude of corrosion potential difference among three parts by PWHT was larger than that of three parts of as-welded, and corrosion current by galvanic cell of these three pacts by PWHT was also larger compared to as-welded. Therefore, it is suggested that corrosion resistance property of SCM440 steer is decreased by PWHT than as-welded. However, both Al anode generating current and anode weight loss were also increased by PWHT compared to as-welded when SCM400 steed is cathodically protected by Al anode.
