상완골 원위부 과간 골절은 소아에서는 매우 드물게 발생되는 골절로 대부분 주관절의 굴곡상태로 주관절 후방부에 직접적인 충격에 의해 발생하는 것으로 보고되고 있다. 전위가 없거나 경미한 경우 도수적 정복술 혹은 도수적 정복술 후 경피적 핀고정술을 시행하며, 전위가 심한 골절이거나 도수적 정복술이 불가능한 경우 관혈적 정복술 후 핀고정술을 시행하는 것으로 알려져 있다. 저자들은 전위된 상완골 원위부 과간 골절 환아 2예에서 각각 도수적 정복술과 관혈적 정복술 후 K 강선 고정술을 시행하여 만족한 결과를 얻었기에 보고하는 바이다. Intercondylar fractures of the distal humerus are very rare in children. The pattern of the fracture would suggest that the mechanism of injury involves a fall directly on the flexed elbow. Most agree that the undisplaced fracture can be managed conservatively. With increasing displacement and comminution, the opinions tend to differ. We suggest that closed reduction with percutaneous K wire pinning and open reduction with percutaneous K wire pinning offer a satisfactory methods by which to treat displaced intercondylar fracture in children.

Grid computing is an emerging technology that promise to unify resources and computing power in many organizations together. It couples a wide variety of geographically distributed computational resources, and presents them as a unified integrated high-end computer. The Globus Resource Allocation and Management(GRAM) service provides for the management and remote execution of jobs defined using a standard Resource Specification Language(RSL) requested by client in grid environment. However, Currently the GRAM has very limited functionality to support for applications that required special execution environment. Here, we provide a proposal for Execution Environment Information interacted with broker to support the GRAM's special execution environment.
RF sputtering 법으로 제조된 CuInSe₂박막의 특성

CuInSe₂ thin films were prepared on Si(100) wafer by RF magnetron sputtering from powder target which was prepared by reacting high purity Cu₂Se and In₂Se₃(99.999%, Cu₂Se: In₂Se₃=1:1 mole ratio), in argon gas The XRD results suggest that deposited thin films were mainly composed of crystalline CuInSe₂ with the typical chalcopyrite structure, whereas film deposited showed the mixed phase of Cu₂Se+CuInSe₂at 50W. Deposited film showed (204), (220) preferred orientation at 50W and deposited films from 75W were strongly oriented along th e(112) plane. In the EDS analysis, Cu/In mole ratio of the thin films was decreased and Se/(Cu+In) mole ratio was increased with increasing RF power. The lattice parameters of a, c axis and c/a ratio of deposited films were decreased with increasing RF power. The grain size of the thin films measured by SEM became coarse with the increase of RF power.
R.F Sputtering법으로 제조한 TiB₂ 박막의 열처리에 의한 조직 특성

TiB2 than films were deposited by R.F sputtering process on the WC-Co cutting tool. The thermal annealing was performed to crystallize as-deposited films at temperature, which was varied from 900℃ to 1100℃. The growth rate of TiB2 thin films increased with R.F power. The as-deposited films were amorphous. TiB2 thin films annealed at 900℃ showed TiB2, TiB peaks. When the annealing temperature was increased to 1100℃, the intensity of the (101) and (110) peaks of TiB2 became stronger. The morphology of the as-deposited films exhibited the granular structure from SEM observations. As the R.F power increased, the spherical particles of the films were coalesced and showed the large granular structure. The films annealed at 900℃ showed a fine crystallized figures and columnar structure. Whereas, the melt phase has been formed on the surface of the films above 1000℃. The results of EDS analysis about melt phase show that the melt phase was composed of W, Co elements.

In this paper, a new approach to modeling of static and dynamic systems using clustering techniques. To express the various and complex behavior of systems, we combine multiple model method. The Gustafson-Kessel algorithm is used in partitioning of system, and Takaei Sugeno rule structure is adopted to form the fuzzy rules. According to simulation, the performance of fuzzy modeling technique is evaulated.

Hard coating의 일종인 TiN 피막을 PVD 법으로 제조할 경우, 이온 충돌 양상을 조절할 수 있는 기판 Bias와 질소 분압 등이 미세 구조와 피막 특성에 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 알려지고 있다. 본 실험에서는 Ion plating에 의한 TiN 피막 제조에서 기판 바이어스 전압과 질소 분압을 변화시키면서 TiN 피막을 제조하고, 미세 구조를 조사하였다. 공정 변수에 관계없이 얻어진 모든 피막은 δ-TiN 단일상이었다. 질소 분압이 높아짐에 따라 우선배향은 (111)면에서 (200)면으로 바뀌었으며, (111)회절상과 (222) 회절상의 반가폭의 비는 감소하였다. 그리고 결정의 크기는 감소하는 거동을 보였으며 피막의 격자 상수는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 기판 바이어스 변화에 대해서는 전압이 증가함에 따라 (111) 회절상의 반가폭은 -100V 가지 증가하다 그 이상에서는 다시 감소하였으며, 그 때 결정이 크기는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 피막의 격자 상수는 기판 바이어스가 증가함에 따라 150V까지 증가하다 그 이상에서는 다시 감소하였다. The action of ionized particles has to be controlled properly in ion plating method, because the action of ionized particles has an effect on the microstructure of the thin film. In this pointview, we investigated microstructure of TiN thin film that was deposited with variables of N₂partial pressure is increased, the prefered orientation was changed(1110 plane to (200) plane, the ratio of FWHM of (222) to FWHM of (111)was decreased, grain size was decrease and lattice parameter was increased. As bias voltage was increased, the FWHM of (111) peak was increased to-100V, and then decreased with the grain size was increased. Lattice parameter of film was increased to-150V, and then decreased

Background/Aims: The aim of this study was to investigate predictive factors for malignant transformation of colorectal adenomatous polyps in Korea. Methods: One thousand five hundred and eighty- nine sessions of colonoscopic polypectomy were performed from November 1994 to September 1998 for 1,375 patients with adenomatous polyps at Samsung Medical Center. We analyzed the 2,179 adenomatous polyps including 55 (2.5%) polyps with malignant transformation, retrospectively. Results: Six parameters showed significant differences in univariate (p$lt;0.01) and multivariate analysis. For each parameter, the proportions of malignant polyps were as follows: for number of polyps, 1.3% in cases of single polyp and 10.3% in cases of multiple polyps; for size, 1.4% of polyps less than 1 cm and 15.5% of polyps larger than 1 cm; for location, 4.6% of the polyps located in rectum or sigmoid colon and 1.1% of the polyps located in descending to ascending colon; for morphology, 0.9% in polyps of Yamada type I/II and 7.6% in polyps of Yamada type III/IV; for underlying histology, 1.4% in cases of tubular adenoma and 8.1% in cases of tubulovillous or villous adenoma; for degree of dysplasia, 1.2% in cases accompanied with low-grade dysplasia and 8.9% in cases accompanied with high-grade dysplasia. Conclusions: The malignant potential of colorectal adenomatous polyps in Korea is correlated with multiplicity, distal location, pedunculated shape as well as well-known factors like size, histologic type and degree of dysplasia.

<P>IRSp53 is an adaptor protein that acts downstream of Rac and Cdc42 small GTPases and is implicated in the regulation of membrane deformation and actin filament assembly. In neurons, IRSp53 is an abundant postsynaptic protein and regulates actin-rich dendritic spines; however, its in vivo functions have not been explored. We characterized transgenic mice deficient of IRSp53 expression. Unexpectedly, IRSp53(-/-) neurons do not show significant changes in the density and ultrastructural morphologies of dendritic spines. Instead, IRSp53(-/-) neurons exhibit reduced AMPA/NMDA ratio of excitatory synaptic transmission and a selective increase in NMDA but not AMPA receptor-mediated transmission. IRSp53(-/-) hippocampal slices show a markedly enhanced long-term potentiation (LTP) with no changes in long-term depression. LTP-inducing theta burst stimulation enhances NMDA receptor-mediated transmission. Spatial learning and novel object recognition are impaired in IRSp53(-/-) mice. These results suggest that IRSp53 is involved in the regulation of NMDA receptor-mediated excitatory synaptic transmission, LTP, and learning and memory behaviors.</P>
