        침엽수로부터 발생되는 방향성 테르펜의 배출속도 비교 연구

        In order to investigate the composition ratio and the emission rate of monoterpenes emitted from coniferous trees during summer, the enclosure chamber experiments were carried out for two tree species (Pinus densiflora and Pinus rigida). The major monoterpenes from the pine trees were α-pinene, β-pinene, myrcene and β-phellan-drene. There was no difference of the composition ratio between two sites for P. densiflora, but the difference was observed for P.rigida, Clearly, the ratio of β-pinene (26.1%) for P.rigida was higher than that of β-phellandrene (12%) at the Gumsung mountain site, but the ratio of β-phellandrene (22.2%) was higher than that of β-pinene (9.9%) at the Chiri mountain site. Particularly, the composition ratio of β-phellandrene was higher than that of β-pinene for P.densiflora, and the opposite trend was found for P.rigida at the Gumsung mountain site. The characteristics of the composition ratio between two species were similar at the Chiri mountain site. As a result of the emission rate measurements, it was observed that both sites did not show any significant β value (slope between emission rate and temperature) and ERs (Standard Emission rate at 30℃) difference. However, the β value and ERs at the Chiri mountain site were slightly greater than those of Gumsung mountain site for both pine species. P.densiflora(1.703 and 1.971㎍C/gdw/hr) showed the higher monoterpene ERs than those of P.rigida (0.572 and 0.698 ㎍C/gdw/hr) at both sites.

        Fungus such as Candida albicans is a normal flora that is frequently found in the oral cavity, gastrointestinal tract, genitourinary tract, vaginal mucosa in a normal person. However, candida can cause opportunistic infection in an immune compromised host. Candidiasis has broad spectrum of disease from mucocutaneous infection to invasive or disseminated infection. But, it is rarely reported that candida is associaed with gastrointestinal tract disease in a healthy adult. The case of gastric ulcer associated with candida particularly in a health adult is reported with relevant literature.

      • 초등학교 3학년 학생의 수학에 대한 인식 태도 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate a study on awareness attitudes of mathematics education in elementary school. This study was conducted with 152 W elementary school of Gwang Ju, 105 H elementary school of Gyeong Ju making up 257 in total. Mean, standard deviation, t-test were done to draw out the conclusions according to different study purposes. The findings of this study were as follows; First, the awareness attitudes of mathematics education was non-significant compared to those in the male-female group. Second, it can be said that the awareness attitude of Gwang Ju toward the elementary students was more positive compared to the Gyeong Ju elementary students. Third, it can be said that the awareness attitude of mathematics attend a lecture group toward the elementary students was more positive compared to the non-mathematics attend a lecture group. 본 연구는 초등학교 3학년 학생들의 수학에 대한 인식태도를 알아보고자 하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 광주광역시 W초등학교 3학년 152명과 경주시 H초등학교 3학년 105명이며, 연구결과를 알아보기 위하여 기술통계와 t검정을 하였으며 연구결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 3학년 학생들의 수학에 대한 인식태도에서 남녀 간의 차이가 나타나지 않았다. 그러므로 수학에 대한 자신감이나 흥미에서 남녀 간에 차이를 보이지 않았다. 둘째, 지역별로 대도시에 사는 초등학교 3학생들이 중소도시에 사는 초등학교 3학년 학생들보다 인지적 영역에서 차이가 있었으며, 더 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있었다. 셋째, 수학학원에 다니고 있거나 다닌 경험이 있는 초등학교 3학년 학생들이 학원에 다니지 않은 초등학교 3학년 학생들보다 수학에 대한 인지적 영역, 정의적 영역, 전체인식태도에서 더 긍정적인 인식을 가지고 있었다.

      • 자동측정망 데이터를 이용한 국내 항공기소음 실태 조사

        Currently domestic criteria for the aircraft noise is being adapted WECPNL(weighted equivalent continuous perceived noise level), while internationally preferred method is L_(dn) which is originated from L_(eq) and can evaluate even environmental noise. WECPNL used in domestic as a evaluation method is only for the aircraft noise. It is, therefore, not adequate for the evaluation of residents' injury, moreover, it is very difficult to measure the aircraft noise with WECPNL due to the complicated calculating procedures as long as automatic measuring system is not used This study aims to propose alternative evaluation method for the aircraft noise. To achieve this purpose, the data measured by automatic measuring system in 5 places among domestic airports from 1998 to 2002 were gathered and calculated with three evaluation method ; WECPNL, L_(eq) and L_(dn) and the results calculated from different methods were compared and analyzed. At the same time, it was investigated problems generated from the actual operating of the automatic measuring system and that remedy was presented.

        Effect of processing parameters on the quality of fresh-cut button mushroom(Agaricus bisporus)

        This study was conducted to investigate optimum processing procedure of fresh-cut button mushrooms. The experiments were done with different processing parameters including washing method, washing time, sanitation, and cutting time. Fresh mushrooms were washed by swirling water (SW), lift type-immersion washing (LIW), or combined LIW and water spray (LI+WS). Mushroom samples were washed by LIW for 0, 1, 3, and 5 minutes separately. Mushrooms were sanitized with 0, 50, or 100 ㎕L-1 chlorine solution (pH 7) for 60 seconds. Mushrooms were sliced at different times (before washing, after washing, or after drying). The combined washing treatment, LIW+WS was effective in maintaining better appearance and higher Lightness color value among treatments. Optimum washing time to remove foreign materials and maintain color was 3 minutes when mushrooms were washed by LIW. Samples sanitized with 50 ㎕L-1 chlorine reduced initial aerobic bacterial population and had only slight residual chlorine odor. Fresh-cut mushrooms sliced after washing had the lowest loss among samples. The optimized washing, sanitation, and cutting time parameters can be used for sequential processing of fresh-cut button mushrooms.

        Changes in quality and microbial population of fresh-cut button mushroom (Agaricus bisporus) during storage

        This study was conducted to determine changes in quality and microbial population of intact and fresh-cut button mushrooms (Agaricus bisporus). Freshly collected mushroom was cut into approximately 0.5 cm thick slices and washed in tap water or 100 ㎕L-1 chlorine solution (pH 7) for 60 seconds. Intact mushrooms were washed in the same condition as cut samples. Both intact and fresh-cut samples were then dried, packaged in 50㎛ poly ethylene bags, and stored at 5 ℃ for up to 9 days. Quality and microbial safety parameters such as gas composition, color, off-odor, visual quality, electrical conductivity, E. coli / coliform count, and total aerobic population were evaluated during storage. All sample packages exhibited a rapid depletion of O2 (to ~0 kPa) and accumulation of CO2 (10.3 to 12.6 kPa) throughout the storage period. No significant color difference was found between tap water and chlorine. However, chlorine treatment was effective in reducing off-odor development of intact and fresh-cut samples at the end of storage. The chlorine application also reduced aerobic bacterial populations. Both Intact and cut mushrooms had ≤ 5 log CFU/g of total aerobic plate counts until the end of storage. Fresh-cut samples regardless of chlorine sanitation had higher overall visual quality score than intact samples. Results indicated that fresh-cut mushrooms treated with chlorine maintained quality and shelf-life throughout the 9 day storage period.

        Changes in Quality of Oriental Melon ‘Smartkkul’ During Vessel Transportation

        This study was carried out to assess different postharvest treatments of oriental melon (Cucumis melo var. makuwa Makino) for vessel export to Singapore and to investigate the competitiveness of Korean oriental melon in local markets in Singapore. Oriental melon fruits were grown and harvested from a commercial greenhouse in Seongju, Korea. Oriental melons were treated with 5 different applications: washing with water and 5-kg bulk packaging in a corrugated box covered with polypropylene film (control), washing with water and 5-kg bulk packaging in a corrugated box covered with polyethylene film coated with pegmatite (W+B+F), the W+B+F treatment with the addition of absorption paper (W+B+F+P), washing with water and small packaging, in which two oriental melons were packaged in a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) tray, and 8 trays were placed into each corrugated box (W+S), and washing with 0.5% chitosan solution and small packaging (CW+S). After the treatments, the melon fruits were stored for 1 day at 13°C followed by a 9-day transportation to Singapore at 3°C in a shipping container, and a 3-day distribution to the markets at 18°C. The control treatment resulted in the highest and the fastest weight loss. The W+B+F treatment was effective in reducing surface browning of oriental melon and marketability was the highest at 71.4% with this treatment after arrival in Singapore. The W+S and CW+S treatments showed no decay 3 days after arrival in Singapore. The firmness of W+C+F-treated melon fruit was higher than in the other treatments during distribution at 18°C after export. The soluble solids content of the seed was higher than in the flesh of oriental melon fruit. This study indicated that the W+B+F treatment of oriental melon before export was effective in maintaining freshness during export to Singapore.

        Rapid Detection of Escherichia coli O157:H7 in Fresh-Cut Cabbage by Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction

        Minimum time and detection limit required to detect Escherchia coli O157:H7 in fresh-cut cabbage examined by real-time polymerase chain reaction (PCR). The detection limit of E. coli O157:H7 in modified E. coli (mEC) broth by real-time PCR was 1.53 log CFU $mL^{-1}$. A growth curve was produced by counting the cell number of E. coli O157:H7 in mEC broth during cultivation at $37^{\circ}C$. The growth curve was well fitted by the equation, $y=0.0148x^2+0.4244x+1.0472$ ($R^2=0.9945$), where y is the cell growth concentration (log CFU $mL^{-1}$) and x is time (h). Assuming that E. coli O157:H7 is present in produce at low concentrations (1 cell in 25 g sample), detection by real-time PCR would be possible only when the cell number increased over the detection limit. The growth curve indicated that culture in mEC broth required at least 6 h and 20 min of enrichment to exceed the detection limit; therefore, the total time required for detection time was less than nine hours, which included the DNA isolation time (30 min) and the real-time PCR operating time (2 h). This method could be used for presumptive screening of E. coli O157:H7 in fresh-cut produce, which demands a rapid detection time for safety management.
