Image Analysis Algorithm for the Corneal Endothelium

The number of the living endothelial cells and the shape of those are very import clinical parameters for the evaluation of the quality of cornea. In this paper, we developed the automated endothelial cell counting and shape analysis algorithm for a confocal microscope. Since, the endothelial images from the confocal microscope has a non-uniform illumination and low contrast between cell boundaries and cell bodies, it is very difficult to segment the cells from the endothelial images. To cope with these difficulties, we proposed the new two stage image processing algorithm. At first stage algorithm, we used a high-pass filter and histogram equalization to compensate the non-uniform brightness pattern and a morphological filter and a watershed method are applied to detect the boundary of cells. From this stage, we could count the number of cells in an endothelial image. At second stage algorithm, we used a Voronoi diagram method to classify the shape of cells. This cell shape analysis and the percent of hexagonal cells are very sensitive in detecting the early endothelium damage. To evaluate the performance of the proposed system, we p개cessed seven endothelial images obtained using a confocal microscope. The proposed system correctly counted 95.5% cells and classified 92.0% of hexagonal cell shapes. This result is better than any others in this research area.

Accident for temporary equipment is the largest disaster in construction sector. Safety certification system is trying to prevent a disaster in Korea. However, some of construction temporary equipment are not prescribed the system or other law, it is aluminum form that used to construction site lately and was expensive. In this study, it review law related on construction temporary equipment about aluminum form and surveyed problems of material standard, using and managing by interview to construction managers and experts. As a result, it is recognized that law and specification of construction temporary equipment is inadeguated and is not managed systemically. Therefore, aluminum form could manage to obliagted system or quality management.

The latest domestic construction sector is receiving economic damage because of defect litigation. The Concrete Crack among them has the largest component in expense of apartment house defect. Also, contradictory suggestion of appraiser is problem. To improve these problem, need objective plan that people concerned can recognize about decision sequence. Therefore, in this study, compared general defect investigation and defect decision of appraiser taking advantage of Data Dictionary analysis method. Also, deduced current problem and amelioration plan.
Analysis on Accommodative Function and Change of Phoria due to Noise Stress

목적 : 소음으로 인한 스트레스가 다양한 시기능에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 방법 : 안과적 질환, 수술이력 및 안구운동에 이상이 없는 젊은 성인 60명(23.12±1.26세)을 대상으로 하였으며 소음에 노출되기 전, 후로 지각된 스트레스 척도, 최대조절력, 조절반응량, 원-근거리 사위량, 비침습적 눈물 막 파괴시간의 변화를 관찰하였다. 결과 : 소음 스트레스에 노출이 된 후에는 지각된 스트레스 척도는 증가하였다. 푸쉬업 및 마이너스렌즈 부가 법으로 측정된 최대조절력과 조절반응량은 감소하였고, NITBUT 역시 감소하였으며, 원-근거리 사위량은 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 결론 : 본 연구의 결과를 통해 소음 스트레스는 시기능에 다양한 형태로 영향을 미치고 있다고 볼 수 있으며, 굴절검사 및 시기능 평가 시 주변 환경에 의한 소음 스트레스가 작용하지 않도록 검사실 환경을 구성하는 것이 중요할 것이라 사료된다. Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of stress from noise on various visual functions. Methods : Sixty young adults (23.12±1.26 years) with no eye diseases, surgical history, and eye movement abnormalities were involved. Before and after exposure to noise, Perceived Stress Scale (PSS), accommodative amplitude, response of accommodation, distance and near phoria, and NITBUT were measured. Results : After exposure to noise stress, the PSS was increased. While the accommodative amplitude, the response of accommodation, and NITBUT were decreased, the distance and near phoria were increased. After exposure to noise stress, the perceived stress scale increased. The accommodative amplitude measured by the push-up and minus lens addition method and response of accommodation decreased. While the NITBUT also decreased, the distance and near phoria showed a tendency to increase. Conclusion : From the results of this study, it is shown that noise stress affects visual function in various ways. Therefore, it is considered that it is important to construct the optometry clinic environment so that noise stress caused by the surrounding environment does not occur during refraction test and visual function evaluation.

We measured the fat thickness noninvasively by using a diffuse optical method for tissue-simulating phantoms and human tissues. A light source module composed of 770 nm low-power chip LEDs and a photo-detector were used in this study. The optical tissue phantoms were composed of a fat and a muscle layer made with gels with appropriate absorption/scattering coefficients. The fat thickness was varied from several to 30 mm. After a proper calibration procedure, we used this system to conduct human studies. Based on this preliminary study, noninvasive fat thickness measurements are possible with a simple curve-fitting procedure.
업무정보 분석을 통한 작업불능일 산정 프로세스 설계에 관한 연구

건설프로젝트는 장기간에 걸친 현장생산방식으로 이루어지며, 대부분의 공종이 야외에서 이루어지는 특징을 가진다. 따라서 공정계획 수립 시 예정공사기간 준수를 위한 방안으로 작업불능일을 산정하여 Activity에 반영하고 있다. 하지만 이러한 작업불능일은 경험과 직관에 의해 일률적으로 일수를 판단하는 것이 대부분이며, 전문가마다 필요한 정보와 업무방식이 각각 상이하여 같은 현장이라도 산정하는 방식이 다르고 그 결과도 차이가 심한 실정이다. 따라서 작업불능일 산정 시 업무정보의 과학적이고 정량적인 이해가 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 작업불능일 산정에 필요한 업무정보를 수집, 정리하여 작업불능일 산정 프로세스를 도출 하였으며, 산출된 프로세스를 바탕으로 기초화면을 설계 하였다. 전문가 인터뷰를 통해 검증한 결과, 기존 업무대비 약 69%의 업무시간 단축효과와 92%의 업무정보 매트릭스의 신뢰성을 보였으며 80%의 전문가가 시스템화에 대해 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 본 연구를 통해 작업불능일 산정업무 시 업무이해를 증진시키고 정량적인 업무수행에 따른 효율화를 도모할 수 있을 것으로 보이며 향후 시스템화에 대한 연구가 지속되어야 할 것이다. Construction projects consist of long-term on-site production, and most disciplines are featured by outdoor works. Therefore, when a process plan is established, non-working days are calculated and reflected in a process schedule to comply with the planned construction period. However, necessary information and working methods are different in the course of the work, so the method of calculation varies depending on persons even for the same site, and the result is also very different. Therefore, scientific and quantitative understanding of business information is needed. This study reconstructed non-working day estimation process by collecting and organizing the information necessary for non-working day estimation, and designed the demonstration screen based on the reconstructed process and verified through expert interview at each stage. As a result, it showed about 69% reduction of work time and reliability of 92% work information matrix, and 80% of the experts evaluated the systemization of the relevant work. This study is expected to improve the understanding of work and increase the efficiency of work performance, and the study on systemization in the future should be continued.
