Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease (CMT) is clinically heterogeneous hereditary motor and sensory neuropathies with genetic heterogeneity, age-dependent penetrance, and variable expressivity. Rare copy number variations by nonrecurrent rearrangements have recently been suggested to be associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth 1A (CMT1A) neuropathy. In our previous study, we found three Korean CMT1A families with rare copy number variations (CNVs) on 17p12 by nonrecurrent rearrangement. Careful clinical examinations were performed in all the affected individuals with rare CNVs (n=19), which may be the first full study of a subject from a large CMT1A family with nonrecurrent rearrangement. The clinical phenotype showed no significant difference compared with common CMT1A patients, but with variable phenotypes. In particular, a broad intrafamilial phenotypic spectrum was observed within the same family, which may suggest the existence of a genetic modifier. This study may broaden the understanding of the role of CNVs in the pathogenesis of CMT.

Microtextural characterization using electron backscatter difraction analysis was performed on laser powder bed fusion manufactured SS316L (SS316L). The crystallographic textures of as-printed (AP) and hot isostatic pressed (HIP) samples havebeen determined using orientation distribution function maps. The AP sample consists of mostly<110>||BD and<100>||BDfber textures without any clear presence of twins. Conversely, the HIP sample featured<110>||BD and<111>||BD grains. The formation of<111>||BD texture was due to the deformation associated with the HIP process. Moreover, HIP generateda signifcant fraction of coincident site lattice Σ3 boundaries due to the low stacking fault energy of SS316L. These twinboundaries allow considerable plasticity during subsequent deformation. The spacing of deformation twins is wider (1–5 μm)compared to the subgrain boundaries (0.2–0.7 μm). Kernel Average Misorientation maps depict the occurrence of dynamicrecrystallization, which is assisted by deformation twinning. The results explain the increased ductility of LPBF-produced,HIP processed SS316L without sacrifce to its tensile strength.

Purpose: Global warming is increasingly aggravated by environmental degradation, a challenge that can be mitigated through strategic logistic policies. This study introduces the dynamics of green trade in environmental goods for the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) nations. It is a region known for its high environmental degradation, political risk and instability. This study examines how technological innovation and political factors influence the geographic distribution of green trade among OIC nations from 1994 to 2021 using the structural gravity model. The COVID-19 pandemic further emphasised the need for resilient and eco-friendly approaches. Research design, data and methodology: The main objective of the study is to analyse the impact of technological innovation along with scrutinising political determinants of green trade in the OIC region from 1994 to 2021 using the structural gravity model. Results: The results reveal geographic proximity, RTA, and innovation significantly boost green trade. Similarly, OIC's green trade performance has been impeded by high political risk and instability. Conclusions: The research recommends fostering political stability, and conducting further research using longitudinal studies and machine learning to strengthen the understanding of innovation and green trade in the OIC. This will inform policies for sustainable economic growth through green trade.
Dynamic Testing of Check Valve for Cryogenic Pump

Check valves are an important component in any hydraulic system. Cryogenic liquids have very low viscosity and also at cryogenic temperature, material shrinks and hardened which increases the sealing gaps dramatically. In this article, we discuss the relation between the flow rate and pressure drop for the check valve used in a high-pressure cryogenic pump. Also, we did a simulation to check the leak and analyze the check valve with and without spring at two different testing conditions: normal closed and with the varying flow direction. We found from the simulation that leakage in the normally closed position is almost zero even at high pressure which is quite different from the real scenario. This result is due to the ideal conditions used by simulation software. We also shown quantitatively that time to change of direction of flow is more for high pressure and it is low as the frequency of proportional directional control valve changes.

PROPERTIES OF FUNCTIONS WITH BOUNDED ROTATION ASSOCIATED WITH LIMAÇON CLASS

In this article, we initiate subclasses of functions with boundary and radius rotations that are related to limaçon domains and examine some of their geometric properties. Radius results associated with functions in these classes and their linear combination are studied. Furthermore, the growth rate of coefficients, arc length and coefficient estimates are derived for these novel classes. Overall, some useful consequences of our findings are also illustrated.
