This paper is on the performance characteristics of bubble pump with vertical pipe of different diameters. For the experimental facilities composed of electrical heater used for providing heat source to generate bubble, a vertical pipe with length 400mm, diameter of φ4mm, φ8mm, φ10mm, φ12mm and φ16mm. Storage tank with capacity was of 40ℓ containing a heat exchanger. The separator and condenser of the air bubble pump were installed separately. The results obtained from this experiment are as follows: there were a few variations of values of temperatures according to vertical pipe diameters of the bubble pump. When the smaller diameter of pipe is set, the more bubble is obtained. But the average flow rate reached the highest when the diameter was 10mm.

Put Renewability and pollutant free energy source makes hydrogen energy popular rapidly. Hydrogen gas pressure which is after passing through reciprocating compressor part has high pulsation wave form. A unit, snubber is used as compressor components to reduce the harmful pulsation waveform and to remove the impurities in the hydrogen gas. An experiment has been conducted to investigate the pulsation reduction performance of different arrangement of snubber i.e. snubber array, single snubber in reciprocating compression system. The single snubber is able to reduce amplitude 55.947% ~ 58.248% (0.444, 0.786, 1.073 and 1.18 ㎪) with 0.475% ~ 1.966% pressure loss. It is found that the pressure fluctuations are reduced from 90.1977% ~ 92.6336% with pressure loss 1.5013% ~ 4.9034% for compressor operation at different speed which ensure the good performance of snubber-array as pulsation damper over single snubber in hydrogen compressing system.
Study on the Characteristics of Channel Flow in Plate Heat Exchanger

In this paper, presented pressure drop characteristics in a channel of plate heat exchanger by experimental method. Plate Heat Exchanger(PHE) have become popular in chemical, power, food and refrigeration industries due to the efficient heat transfer performances, extremely compact design and flexibility of extend or modify to suit changed duty. In the experiment, test section constructed by two corrugated plates with 60 degree of chevron angle. Consequently, experiments carried out the pressure profile along 15 measure points according to mass flow rate. This results provided to investigate flow characteristics of PHE channel flow that highly turbulent even with low Reynolds number. Moreover, numerical simulation was compared with experimental results and present flow behavior in the test section.
