Background Paeonia ostii seeds were identifed as novel sources of edible plant oil with a high proportion of α-linolenic acid, a type of n-3 fatty acid with many health benefts. Due to the unreliability of seed oil content and quality, it is necessary to discover the mechanism underlying lipid biosynthesis in Paeonia ostii seeds. Objectives This study aimed to identify the key genes involved in lipid biosynthesis in Paeonia ostii seeds by analyzing the relationship among the seed characteristics and the expression patterns of lipid genes in Paeonia ostii during seed development. Methods Preliminary research on Paeonia ostii seed development was carried out from 10 days after pollination until maturity, focusing on phenology, oil content and lipid profles. In addition, we investigated the spatiotemporal expression of 36 lipid biosynthetic genes in Paeonia ostii by using quantitative real-time PCR. Results The results suggested that the development of Paeonia ostii seeds from pollination to maturity could be divided into three periods. The 36 lipid genes showed various spatiotemporal expression patterns and fve gene groups with distinct temporal patterns during seed development were identifed by clustering analysis of expression data. Furthermore, the relationships between gene expression and lipid/fatty acid accumulation and some candidate key lipid genes were discussed. Conclusions This study provided the global patterns of fatty acid and lipid biosynthesis-related gene expression, which are critical to understanding the molecular basis of lipid biosynthesis and identifying the lipid accumulation rate-limiting genes during seed development.
Event-triggered Extended Dissipative Control for Networked Singular Systems

In this paper, an event-triggered extended dissipative control problem for networked singular systems isinvestigated, where the extended dissipativity analysis unifies the H∞ performance, L2 −L∞ performance, passivity,(Q,S,R)-dissipativity in one framework. Under the event-triggered scheme, the closed-loop system is modeled asa time-delay system. Some sufficient conditions for extended dissipativity are developed and presented in terms oflinear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Then the design of the state feedback controller becomes a matter of solving aset of LMIs. Finally, a numerical example is provided to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Two mesoporous material Ni/γ-Al2O3 catalysts were prepared and characterized by ICP-AES, XRD, and TPR. The differences in reaction activity between Ni-in-Al2O3 and Ni-on-Al2O3 were investigated for hydrotreating of crude 2-ethylhexanol. The results show that the Ni species (Ni-on-Al2O3) exhibit excellent hydrogenation activities at a wide range of H2 pressure and space velocity, while the Ni species (Ni-in-Al2O3) exhibit similar activities with those of Ni-on-Al2O3 only at higher H2 pressure and lower space velocity. Due to the presence of extensively exposed Ni species on the Ni-on-Al2O3 catalyst, its hydrogenation performance was increased significantly because of the low interphase mass transfer resistance.

The concentration of metal ions in aqueous environments signifcantly afects the formation of corrosion products and furthermetal corrosion. In this paper, the electrochemical behavior of carbon steel in the presence of Fe2+ or Fe3+ concentrationin Cl− and SO42− aqueous environments have been investigated using conventional electrochemical methods such as linearpolarization and alternating current impedance spectroscopy. The morphology and composition of carbon steel corrosionproducts were studied using scanning electron microscopy and laser Raman spectroscopy. The efects of corrosion productsand iron ions concentration on the corrosion of carbon steel were discussed. Corrosion products of carbon steel in aqueousenvironments were γ-FeOOH, γ-Fe2O3 and a small amount of α-Fe2O3. The addition of Fe2+ afected the cathode reactionof the electrode reaction, and promotes the formation of γ-FeOOH and Fe3O4. And with the increase of Fe2+ concentrationin the solution, the anode process of electrode reaction was suppressed. The addition of Fe3+ promoted the formation ofγ-Fe2O3 and Fe3O4. Fe3+ afected the ionization of water, causing the pH of the solution to drop. Fe3+ undergoes a redoxreaction with the matrix. Addition of Fe3+ ions promoted the formation of FeOOH, an intermediate product, which reactswith the anode product Fe2+. These factors all accelerated the corrosion process.
Panorama Measurement Based on Spherical Projective Geometry

Previous panoramic studies focused on image stitching and the panoramic camera development. In recent years, people began to focus on panoramic scalability issues, the existed methods adopt traditional photogrammetric methods for data processing based on a multi-directional panorama images, using a large number of control points and combined bundle adjustment. Indeed, panorama itself is a kind modeling method, it is completely unnecessary to reconstruct the panoramic entire scene for measurement. So in this paper, we focus on a kind of panorama measurement from spherical projective geometry we studied and constructed the relative, absolute orientation and measurable algorithms based on spherical stereo pair panorama in order to achieve panoramic measurement in the process of panorama roaming. The experiment shows that the approach is much validated, and something useful is obtained.
Preparation and Photoelectrocatalytic Performance Study of Au-RGO/TiO2 NTs Photoelectrode

In our research, The Au-reduced graphene oxide (RGO)/TiO2 nanotubes (NTs) photoelectrode was prepared by electrodeposition, and was characterized and analyzed by scanning electron microscope, X-ray energy scattering spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, photoluminescence spectroscopy, and photoelectrochemical methods. The results show that the best preparation conditions is setting deposition voltage as 0.2 V and deposition time as 30 s. At the same time, the nano-gold is well supported on RGO/TiO2 NTs without changing the original nanotube array structure. After a 35 W mercury lamp and a 15 V bias are applied, the photoelectric degradation efficiency of methylene blue is 72%, slightly higher thanthose of the other two electrodes. which show demonstrate that the photocatalytic activity of Au-RGO/TiO2 NTs photoelectrodes under visible light is improved effectively.

<P>For the goal of superconducting magnet applications in the advanced testing device for high temperature superconducting (HTS) wire and sample coils, a wide bore conduction-cooled superconducting magnet with available warm bore of phi 186 mm and center field of 5 T for the background magnetic field applications was designed and fabricated and tested. A sample cryostat with two GM cryocoolers is inserted in the background magnet. The system allows measurements to be performed in a repeatable and reliable fashion. The detailed design, fabrication and thermal analysis are presented in the paper.</P>
