        원예치료가 정신지체학생의 작업수행능력에 미치는 영향

        The purpose of this study is to investigate the horticultural therapy program effects on vocational achievement by cases. Major conclusions are as follows. The horticultural therapy activity program facilitated vocational accomplishment of students with mental retardation positively. Student A was improved vocational accomplishment on phase 1 and 2 to learn new skills, but he was decreased vocational accomplishment on phase 3 and 4 to review learned skills on phase 1 and 2. Student B was improved prevocational skills continuously, but he was not showed much improvement of vocational attitude. Student C was improved prevocational accomplishment skills and vocational attitude dramatically on phase 2, but she was not showed much prevocational accomplishment and vocational attitude. Student D was not showed the improvement of prevocational accomplishment and vocational skills from phase 1 to phase 4, but she was improved prevocational accomplishment and vocational skills dramatically on phase 5 that was practicing and experiencing to product and sell a complete flower arrangement and bunch of flowers voluntarily. We could know from results of vocational accomplishment that horticultural therapy activity program was not keep ordinal procedure, but it was modified flexibly according to personality and interest of vocational accomplishment of students with mental retardation.

        정진지체인 직업적응을 위한 원예치료의 이론적 탐색

        The purpose of this study has the significance in search for the effectiveness of horticultural therapy for a vocational adaptation with the mentally retarded through the exploration on the history of development in horticultural therapy and the past study at home and abroad on it. Horticultural therapy is an additional treatment model that treats individual clients or implements cure plans for the clients using Horticulture as a means of treatment. Horticultural therapy has been shown to have the positive outcome in different areas such as the heightened sociability, emotional behaviour, work performance, and physical ability. And It is urgently required to develop the programs for horticultural therapy that works for a vocational adaptation with the mentally retarded.

        정신지체학교의 직업교육 실태와 개선에 대한 질적 연구

        본 연구는 정신지체 특수학교 직업교육의 전반적인 실태를 탐색하여 정신지체 특수학교 직업교육의 개선방향을 모색해보는데 목적이 있다. 전국 정신지체 특수학교 가운데 충청도와 전라도에 소재한 세 학교의 직업담당 부장교사와의 면담을 중심으로 정신지체 특수학교 직업교육의 전반적인 실태를 알아보았다. 이러한 면담을 통해 얻은 결과로 직업교육의 개선을 위해서는 취업현장과 연계 가능한 직업 종목의 선정과 다양화된 교육방향으로의 전환과 부족한 전문직업 담당교사 양성이 요구되며, 학생배치 시 흥미와 적성을 객관적으로 평가할 수 있는 평가도구의 개발, 학교실정을 고려한 교육과정의 재편성, 지역사회와 관련기관 및 단체의 지원이 이루어져야 한다. 직업교육이 직업생활로 지속적으로 유지되기 위해서는 직업 인식개선을 위한 부모교육과 함께 학생에게도 세밀한 추수지도가 필요하고 국가 제도적 차원에서 특정 직업 종목이 정해져야 한다. The purposes of this research were investigated to know real situations and desirable directions of vocational education on special school for the students with mental retardation. The method of this research was interview with three managing teachers in charge of vocational education. The result of this research are as follows. First, in real situations of vocational education, the contents of vocational education were insufficient situation to cultivate realistic vocational men. The items of vocational education were consist of item required simple functional skills and certifications of teacher with charge of vocational education were different by three schools. The assignment of vocational teachers and students were appropriate, because it was to decide by teacher's major and student's vocational interest. But all schools didn't consider vocational program for students with severe and profound mental retardation. Second, in desirable directions of vocational education, on qualification of vocational teacher, special education teacher should be train vocational education, and reeducation of vocational teacher will be necessary inservice training on vocation education. For desirable vocational education, positive attitude and support of the parents should be necessary in industry field and vocational curriculum for student's vocational interest should be develope in national dimension.

        기관장의 장애유아 통합교육에 대한 태도

        The purpose of this study is to investigate what attitude, toward the inclusive education of the children with disabilities, is taken by the heads of educational facilities which include preschools, such as public schools, special schools, and kindergartens or early childhood intervention centers. The subjects of the study are every 50 heads of the educational facilities which include preschools, and as the methods of the study, the questionnaires are used. The result of the study are as follows: First, in the rate of the understanding of inclusive education in general, that of the heads of the special schools is highest and is followed by that of the heads of kindergartens or early childhood intervention centers, and public schools. Second, in the rate of the understanding of the inclusive education on the interest in the special education, that of the heads of the special schools is relatively higher than that of the others. Third, about the effect of the inclusive education on both the general and young children with disabilities, the answers of the heads of kindergartens or early childhood intervention centers are most positive, followed by those of the heads of special schools and public schools. Fourth, about the effective way of the inclusive education, each head of the facilities takes very positive attitude. Fifth, the heads of the facilities think that the merits of the inclusive education are to form the positive thought on the young children with disabilities, to increase the children's adaptability to the world, to inspire the thought of living together, and to respect the individual's character, and that the demerits are the alienation of children from lack of consideration on both the general children and children with disabilities, lack of facilities and professionally qualified teachers, and the parent's biased views. Based on this research and its results, for the research of early inclusive education, I propose as follows: First, It will be helpful to the effort on the forward inclusive education to think the effective way of the inclusive education with the heads of the facilities experienced in the inclusive education as the central figures. Second, because the contents of the questionnaires used in this research are fragmentary and limited, it may be needed to study the inclusive education with the questionnaires including a wide and profound range of questions.
