<P>The electrical properties and the device reliability under positive/negative bias stress with/without illumination regarding amorphous indium gallium zinc oxide (a-IGZO) thin-film transistors (TFTs) are evaluated as a function of the nitrogen partial pressure in the sputter deposition. Interestingly, it is easy to control the carrier concentration through the incorporation of nitrogen into IGZO, whereby the device performance is changed. In addition, when nitrogen is introduced during the conventional IGZO deposition, the device reliability of N-doped IGZO TFTs is considerably improved compared to that of undoped-IGZO TFTs due to the reduced amount of defects. It is also interesting that such an improvement of the device reliability regarding IGZO is easily obtainable through the simple addition of nitrogen to the conventional deposition process. It is, therefore, strongly believed that this simple nitrogen-doping process for IGZO is very effective regarding the achievement of highly durable devices, and it can be immediately applied to the current mass production of the high-performance displays for which the oxide semiconductor is used.</P>

Whereas vehicle infotainment system cannot catch up with customer needs because of lo period, high-end requirement and cost issues. In this research, I studied how to catch up w development cycle and develop a connected a Smartphone application which can inter-comm vehicle and smartphone.

<P>We investigate the effect of crystalline indium-gallium-zinc-oxide (c-IGZO) thin films on device performance, and evaluate the device reliability of c-IGZO under positive/negative bias stress with/without illumination. The crystal structure of deposited-IGZO thin film is controlled by annealing temperatures, and the transition from an amorphous to a crystalline structure is observed at above 800 °C. Even though the c-IGZO thin-film transistors (TFTs) exhibit lower carrier mobility, compared with amorphous IGZO (a-IGZO) TFTs, the remarkable improvement of the device reliability for the c-IGZO TFTs is observed especially under the bias stress with illumination. This comes from lower defect density compared with the a-IGZO film.</P>

Since Hyundai Motor company developed first new alpha engine, HMC has focused to get higher engine performance and better fuel economy. Recently HMC is preparing to enter new high performance , luxury market. To achieve success in that market, powertrain developments are also required to have different approaches. In this study, to satisfy our new customer’s need, two major engine control logic has been developed and applied. One is making after-burn sound and the other is developing launch control with turbocharger pre-charging. The result of two development were impressive in term of customer emotional satisfaction and will be applied to mass production vehicle.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Variations in mineralogy and chemical composition, layer structures, redox states of Fe and Mn, and microbial diversity are closely linked to the biogeochemical process when a ferromanganese crust layer forms. A sample collected from the Magellan Seamount (OSM11), in the western Pacific, was characterized in five well-defined layers, top to bottom (L1–5). Fe-vernadite occurs in all layers, compared to detritus quartz, feldspar, goethite, and hematite in L1 and L3, and carbonate fluorapatite (CFA) in L4–5. The relatively high concentrations of Ca and P in L4–5, and Fe, Co, and Si in L1 and L3 correspond to the mineralogical variations in the crust layer. Disappearance of elongated voids along the convex growth line is likely due to void filling precipitation of CFA in L4–5, resulting in the void reduction (31.6 to 6.0%). The oxidation states of Fe in Fe-vernadite measured by electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) ranges from 36 to 63% of Fe<SUP>3+</SUP>/Fe<SUP>tot</SUP>, and a layer where CFA appeared (L4) contains a more reductive form of Fe (Fe<SUP>3+</SUP>/Fe<SUP>tot</SUP> = 36–48%). Presence of Fe- (<I>coxC</I>) and Mn-oxidizing gene (<I>cumA</I>), particularly displaying a strong PCR band of <I>coxC</I> in L2–3, indicates a dominant oxidizing condition. Direct evidence of microbial activity in Fe - and Mn-oxide precipitation with various redox conditions was identified in the focused ion beam-sectioned microfossil. Particularly, a spectrum image displaying a more reducing form of Fe around the voids previously occupied by microorganisms, strongly supports that microorganisms play an important role in the redox reaction in the growth of a crust.</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Direct evidence of microbial activity in the formation of Fe-Mn crusts is presented. </LI> <LI> Biogeochemical processes reveal the unique paleo-environments in the formation. </LI> <LI> EELS acquisition of Fe reveals redox condition for the vernadite formation. </LI> </UL> </P>

Objective: To investigate the training effects on balance and low recovery using blanace control trainer with visual-feedback system in acute hemiplegic stroke patients. Method: This study designed pretest-posttest group. Two acute stroke patients were assigned to an experimental group. two patient had conventional physical therapy. in addition this group was trained with the balance trainer for 30 min/day 5 day/week for 4 week. two patient were assessed by berg balance Scale(BBS), function reach test, Fugl-Meyer-Lower extremity test before and after training. Results: Two patient of group showed improvement in static and dynamic balance, low-extremity recovery. Conclusion: Additional balance training with conventional physical therapy is may effective tool to improve static and dynamic balance in acute patient

This study was carried out to develop the index and the scales for the evaluation of the group occupational health services(GOHS). The possible variables of each step, firstly, based on an evaluation model composed of four steps, input, throughout, output and outcome, were selected through several meetings of professional committee. And five types of questionnaire(for doctor, nurse, industrial hygienist, employer, and employee) were developed based on the selected variables. A pilot survey for four GOHS institutions and 12 enterprises was conducted using the questionnaires and correlation analysis for extracting variables was done. The results were as follows: 1.The evaluation scale was composed of three areas(evaluation on workers' health and work environment, evaluation by institution and employer, and evaluation by employee)which were devided into ten subscales. 2.Among firstly selected ninety-six variables, forty-three variables (11 for input, 14 for throughout, and 18 for output indices) were extracted by correlation analysis. 3.Based on the extracted variables, the questionnaires were simplified as five items for doctor, thirty-six items for nurse, nine items for industrial hygienist, and twenty-six items for employer and employee. 4.The total score of evaluation model was defined on the basis of four-hundred points as sum of four indices (input, throughout, output and outcome) given one-hundred points each.
