소수성 NaY Zeolite의 합성과 탈알루미나의 특성

NaY형 Zeolite는 현재 그들의 촉매적 특성과 흡착성 그리고 이온 교환성들을 이용하여 산업에 중요하게 사용되어지고 있다. 본 실험은 고온 스팀을 이용한 방법과 산처리에 의한 방법으로 탈알루미나의 효과를 확인하는 실험을 하였다. 먼저 SiO_2/Al_2O_3 몰비가 4∼6인 합성 NaY zeolite를 분위기 소성로에 넣고 증기발생 장치를 이용하여 500℃에서 고온 스팀을 분위기 소성로에서 일정하게 주입하였다. 에에 따른 결과는 탈알루미나 처리 후의 XRF와 BET의 결과로 탈알루미나 처리에 따라서 SiO_2/Al_2O_3의 몰비가 20.6에서 21까지 증가한 것을 알 수 있으며 또한 BET의 결과에서 탈알루미나 처리에 의해서 비표면적이 증가한 것을 확인할 수 있으며 특히 meso pore area의 증가는 탈알루미나에 의해서 zeolite의 골격구조가 일부 파괴되었음을 알 수 있다.

TNF-α 유전자형과 방광암과의 관계

연구목적: TNF-α는 일부 종양의 종양화 과정과 관련이 있는 것으로 알려져 있다. 본 연구는 TNF-α 발현에 영향을 미치는 TNF-α 촉진자 -308 부위의 유전적 다형성이 방광암과 관련이 있는지 유무를 알고자 시행하였다. 대상 및 방법: 유전자 분석을 위하여 환자 113명 및 대조군 109명으로부터 혈액을 채취하여 genomic DNA를 분리한 후 PCR-RFLP 및 direct DNA sequencing을 통하여 TNF-α유전자의 다형성을 조사하여 방광암의 발생, 병기 및 분화도와 비교 검토하였다. 결과: TNF-α 촉진자 -308 부위의 유전형은 대조군에서는 GG형이 83.5%(90례 및 GA형이 16.5%(19례)로 관찰되었으며 AA형은 없었다. 환자군에서는 GG 형이 85.4%(97례), GA형 및 AA형은 각각 13.1%(15례)및 0.8%(1례)에서 관찰되었다. 두 군 모두에서 GG형이 가장 많이 나타났으며 다음으로 GA형을 보이고 AA형은 1례의 방광암 환자에서만 관찰되었다. -308부위의 경우도 두 군 사이에 유전자형의 차이는 없었다(p=0.259) 분화도별 분포를 보면 grade I이 20례, grade II가 49례, grade Ⅲ은 34례였고 병기별로 표재성인 경우가 90례였으며 침윤성은 14례였다. 분화도가 나빠질수록 GA형이 증가하였다(p=0.04). 그러나 병기와 TNF-α promoter -308부위의 유전자형 사이에는 유의한 상관 관계가 없었다(p=0.123). 결론: 방광암 환자의 혈액에서 GA genotype이 관찰되는 경우, 분화도가 나쁠 가능성이 매우 높기 때문에 좀 더 적극적인 치료와 세밀한 추적관찰을 함으로써 방광암으로 인한 사망과 암의 진행을 예방할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. Purpose : Tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α) is involved in tumorigenesis of several cancers as an endogenous tumor promoter. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether genetic polymorphism of TNF-α promoter region (-308) was associated with human bladder tumor. Materials and Methods: The DNA from 113 and 109 respective blood samples of bladder tumor Patients and control group was analyzed by PCR-based restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) and direct DNA sequencing methods to characterize the genetic polymorphism of -308 promoter region of the TNF-α gene in bladder tumor patients. We compared the association of bladder tumor with genetic Polymorphism of TNF-α promoter region(-308) in relation to the stage, grade, recurrence and progressio. Results : Eighty-six percents(97/113) of bladder tumor patients and 83.5% (90/109) of control group showed genotype GG at -308 region of TNF-α. Difference in genetic variations of TNF-α promoter (-308) did not exist between bladder tumor patients and control group(p=0.259). Tumor grade was significantly related to the GA genotype (p=0.04). The higher is the grade in bladder tumor, the more frequent was the GA genotype. Tumor stage, recurrence and progression were not significantly associated with genetic polymorphism of TNF-α promoter region (-308). Conclusion: The GA genotype of TNF-a promoter region (-308) had a significant impact on TNF-α production and was related to higher grade tumor compared to GG genotype. TNF-α serum levels in bladder tumor patients were significantly higher than controls. These data suggested that TNF-α might involve the tumorigenesis of the bladder rather than treatment or prevention of bladder tumor.

신뢰성 이론에 의한 기초구조물 가치분석 모델 개발

Development of design method based on probability theory sublating discrepancy of definitive design standards in designing foundation structure is needed. This study develops uncertainties of resistance and load effect of foundation structures in order to introduce the concept of probabilistic design based on reliability into foundation structures, estimate reliability index suitable to foundation structures, compares and analyzes safety and durability performance and the results of research can be summarized as follows. Optimum safety radio of bearing power of pile foundation was estimated as 2.9613 according to interpretation of reliability and it was analyzed in a rational way compared to uniform safety ratio value based on conventional allowable stress design methods, and as a result of analyzing life cycle cost of foundation structures, it was confirmed that execution of maintenance and management strategy in repair and maintenance condition of safety evaluation grade B was most economical. In addition, prevention LCC/post LCC ratios of foundation structures for life cycle of 80 years were 60.54%, 54.58%, 52.27% and 49.29% at maintenance, repair, reinforcement and replacement respectively and prevention and maintenance strategy was more economical than post maintenance strategy. It is expected that the results of this study will be used as basic materials to build analysis techniques of reliability and economy of foundation structures through expansion of statistical data of foundation structures.

연속결정화에 의한 NaX 제올라이트 단결정 성장

제올라이트의 결정성장은 유도기와 결정성장기 안정화기의 3단계로 진행한다. 이러한 제올라이트의 결정성장 기구를 이해하고 결정의 성장기를 계속적으로 연장함으로서 조대한 NaX 제올라이트 결정의 성장을 유도하였으며, 선형결정성장속도에 대하여 고찰하였다. NaX 제올라이트의 수열합성 과정중 결정성장기에 일정하게 3일 간격으로 반응용액내의 액상을 분리하고 반응겔을 보충하여 제올라이트의 합성 반응이 안정화기로 진행하는 것을 억제하고 결정 성장기를 연장하여 30 ㎛ 이상의 NaX 제올라이트 결정을 얻었다.

연약지반중의 흙막이구조물의 거동해석에 관한 연구

Recently, a rapid economical development and industrialization require large amount of land of industrial estate and expansion of citis. Therefore the construction of large and deep basements takes place in built up areas where the braced excavation for earth retaining structures causes many problems such as settlement and damages of nearby buildings and underground utilities. This study deals with the behavior of the retaining earth structures and the ground movement around it based on the measuring results which were obtained from the two ground sites. The results of elasto-plastic wall design program involving the effect of lateral flow pressure showed a good agreement with the output of finite difference computer program which covers the behavior of wall as the ground movement around it.

다공성 세라믹스에 NaX 제올라이트의 코팅

다공성 세라믹 기질에 제올라이트의 코팅은 기체 분리용 membrane으로 매우 효과적이다. 수열합성법으로 NaX 제올라이트를 다공성 cordierite와 cordierite, mullite 복합기질의 표면에 코팅하는 과정에서 H_2O/Al_2O_3 몰비를 500, 1000으로 증가시키면서 코팅 특성의 변화와 코팅 속도를 측정한 결과 몰비가 감소할수록 코팅층에 NaA 제올라이트의 존재비가 증가하였으며, 코팅층의 형성 속도는 증가하였다. H_2O/Al_2O_3 1000 몰에서는 반응 9일에 매우 치밀하고 균일한 NaX 제올라이트 코팅층을 얻을 수 있었으며, H_2O/Al_2O_3 1000몰에서는 반응3일에서 1000 몰의 9일과 같은 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

Background : In recent years gonorrhoea has been panendemic and remains one of the most common Sexually Transmitted Diseases in the world, especially in developing countries. Objective & Method : For the detection of a more effective therapeutic regimen and assessing the prevalence of Penicillinase Producing Neisseria Gonorrhoeae(PPNG), Ive have been trying to study the patients who have visited the VD Clinic of Choong-Ku Public Health Center in Seoul since 1980 by means of the chromogenic cephalosporin method. Results : In 1994, 168 strains of N. gonorrhoeae were isolated, among which 109 (64,9% ) were PPNG. Conclustion : Our results suggests that the prevalence of PPNG in Seoul is still increasing.
