        Excretory urography is a type of contrast study used to verify and localize upper urinary tract disease. It is an inexpensive and easy way to visualize of anatomic and functional status of the kidney and has been used as a primary imaging modality for the evaluation of urinary tract abnormalities. We describe urological signs of 7 dogs who examined with excretory urography and ultrasonography. Six cases were referred to veterinary medical teaching hospital. Chungnam national university (VMTH, CNU) to evaluate renal function after the treatment for renal failure and one case was referred showing hematuria. In case 1, 2 and 4, blood test and urinalysis was normal and the results of excretory urography presented that renal function were normal range. In case 3, the results of urinalysis, ultrasonography, and excretory urography except blood test presented abnormal kidney and hydronephrosis was diagnosed. In case 5 and 6, blood test, urinalysis, ultrasonography and excretory urography indicated renal failure. In case 7, blood test, urinalysis and ultrasonography presented partially abnormal signs, however, the results of excretory urography was normal range.

        방정환의『사랑의 선물』광고 전략에 나타난 근대 동화(童話) 기획 연구

        이 논문은 방정환의 번역 동화집『사랑의 선물』(1922)이 근대의 베스트셀러가 되었던 요인 중에서 특히 책의 광고 전략에 주목하여, 이 또한 ‘동화(童話)’라는 장르를 소개하고 보급하고자 했던 방정환의 근대 동화 기획의 일부임을 밝히고자 하였다. 연구를 위한 방법론으로 맥과이어(McGuire)의 SMCRE 모형을 활용한 커뮤니케이션 이론을 적용하였다. 가령『사랑의 선물』광고 기획자인 방정환을 ‘송신자(source/sender)’라고 한다면 광고문안은 ‘메시지(message)’, 광고가 소개되는 매체는 ‘채널(channel)’, 광고를 접하는 독자들은 메시지의 ‘수신자(receiver)’로 볼 수 있다. 또한 광고를 접한 후의 독자들의 반응 양식과 행동 등은 ‘효과(effect)’로 설명될 수 있다. 커뮤니케이션 송신자는 독자에게 믿음을 줄 수 있는 전문성과 신뢰도를 가지고 있을수록 설득의 효과가 높아지는데, 방정환에 대해 독자들이 느끼는 전문성과 신뢰도는 절대적이었다. 메시지의 경우 ‘이성소구’보다는 ‘감성소구’에 치중하였는데, 매개가 되었던 것은 ‘눈물’이었으며 이는 송신자와 수신자의 공유 기호로 작용한다. 또한 커뮤니케이션의 주요 채널로 『어린이』지를 선택했다는 것은 광고의 대상, 즉 메시지의 수신자를 ‘어린이’로 설정하고 있었음을 말한다. 커뮤니케이션의 효과란 곧 광고의 궁극적인 목표이다. 책의 구매활동은 광고의 일차적인 효과이기도 하지만, 동화(童話) 장르의 내면화는 방정환이 기대한 궁극적인 목표였다. 『사랑의 선물』광고를 통한 커뮤니케이션의 성공은 아동문학의 대표적 서사장르인 동화의 정착에 있어서 적지 않은 영향을 미쳤다. This study has looked at the book-advertising strategy among those factors that contributed to Bang Jeong-hwan’s translated collection of childrens classics ‘A Gift of Love (1922)’ being a best-seller in the modern day and attempted to show that it was a part of the author’s modern fairy tale plan that aimed to introduce and spread the genre of ‘fairy tale.’ The McGuire SMCRE model-based communication theory was applied to the study. If Bang Jeong-hwan, the advertising planner of ‘A Gift of Love,’ is the source/sender, advertising copy, medium through which the advertisement is conveyed, then the advertising reader would be perceived as ‘message,’ ‘channel’ and ‘receiver’, respectively. In addition, readers’ response pattern and behavior can be explained as ‘effect.’ When the sender is reliable and experienced, the advertisement becomes more effective. At that time, readers’ trust in Bang Jeong-hwan was unconditional. Emotional appeals were more highly concentrated throughout the work as opposed to rational appeals in the “message” aspect of the text. Here, the medium was ‘tears,’ which play a shared role as a sign of both sender and receiver. In addition, the selection of the magazine ‘Children’ as the major channel of communication means that the receiver of the message is set to ‘Children.’ The effect of communication refers to the ultimate goal of advertisement. The purchasing of books is the primary effect of advertisement. However, the internalization of the ‘fairy tale’ was the ultimate goal Bang Jeong-hwan expected. The establishment of ‘fairy tale’ as the leading narrative genre of children’s literature means that communication through the advertisement of ‘A Gift of Love’ was a great success.

        A 10-year-old spayed female dog with history of persistent nasal discharge and halitosis was presented. In oral examination, there were severe dental calculi and gingivitis. The radiographic imaging showed lesions of left nasal cavity and periodontal membrane. In computed tomographic imaging, there are increased density of left nasal cavity, loss of nasal concha and partial defect of nasal septum. Many inflammatory cells were observed in nasal cytology. The result of culture from nasal smear was negative. All these findings result in rhinitis by dental calculi and gingivitis. The dog got improved after scaling, tooth extraction, and medical treatment.

      • 니페디핀이 암피실린의 흡수에 미치는 영향

        Amino-β-lactam antibiotics are absorbed by the dipeptide transporter in the small intestine. These uptakes are coupled to a proton influx. The inward proton gradient is partly induced by the Na^(+)/H^(+) exchanger and cakium ion is involved in control of this antiport. Interaction between ampicillin which is one of the amino-β-lactam antibiotics and nifedipine which is one of calcium channel blocking agents was studied in rats in vivo and with rabbit jejunum mounted on the Sweetana/Grass diffusion cells in vitro. Bioavailability of ampicillin was increased significantly when nifedipine was co-administered orally in rats. There were no differences in the distribution phase and the elimination phase when ampicillin was given either alone or with nifedipine intravenously. Conditions for in vitro experiments were determined. The lift rate of O₂/CO₂ gas was controlled to 3 bubbles/sec and ampicillin was stable in the Kreb's buffer at pH6.0 Absorption of ampicillin was the greatest when the completely-stripped serosal membrane was used. Transport of ampicillin from mucosal to serosal side in the rabbit jejunum was enhanced by 32% in the presence of nifedipine (p=0.059). Above results suggest that nifedipine might increase the plasma level of ampicillin via the improved absorption in the intestine rather than the reduction in the elimination or/and alteration in the distribution.

      • 2차원 및 3차원 초음파를 이용한 태아표면의 해부학적 선별 검사에 관한 연구

        Objective : Our purpose of this study was to determine the clarity and consuming time of fetal surface screening in thirty-eight fetuses from 24 to 32 weeks of gestation by use of two and three-dimensional ultrasonography. Methods : From May 1998 to July 1998, we performed the fetal surface screening of the fetal face, extremities, and spine. Thirty-eight fetuses of 24-32 weeks of gestation (thirty-seven normal fetuses and one abnormal fetus) were studied by use two-dimensional (AI 5200S, 3.5-5.0MHz; Acoustic Imaging Technologic Cooperation, U.S.A.) and three-dimensional ultrasonography (Volusion 530D, 3.5-5.0 MHz ; Kretz-Medicine, Korea). On the fetal face, we evaluated both orbits, nose, lips and brow. Both hands and feet, five digits and toes should be seen in this study. We evaluated cervical spine and lumbosacral junction of the spine. Results : The maternal average age of 38 patients was 29.9 years and the average gestational age was 29.7 weeks. The results of fetal surface screening were as follows : face (both orbits 89.5%, lips 92.1%, nose 92.1%, and brow 89.5%), extremities (both hands 68.4% and feet 73.7%), and spine (cervical spine 94.7% and lumbosacral junction 97.4%) by use of two-dimensional ultrasonography. By use of three-dimensional ultrasonography, results were as follows : face (both orbits 76.3%, lips 81.6%, nose 81.6%, and brow 78.9%), extremities (both hands 76.3% and feet 78.9%), and spine (cervical spine 71.1% and lumbosacral junction 73.7%). Consuming time for two-dimensional ultrasonography were 4.7 minutes for face, 11.6 minutes for extremities, and 5.7 minutes for spine. Using three-dimensional ultrasonography results were 12.8 minutes for face, 17.9 minutes for extremities, and 11.7 minutes for spine. Average consuming time of all fetal anatomic screening was 22.0 and 42.4 minutes by use of two and three dimensional ultrasonography. In one abnormal fetus had cleft lip and polydactyly of right foot which were detected all by three-dimensional ultrasonography, but we couldn't detect the polydactyly by two-dimensional ultrasonography. Conclusion : Three-dimensional ultrasonography was more time-consuming method, but we suggested that three-dimensional ultrasonography was superior than two-dimensional ultrasonography in fetal surface screening.

        세라믹 브라켓의 종류 및 브라켓 슬롯과 와이어 각도에 따른 마찰 저항 차이

        사회 문화적 발달과 함께 심미적 요구가 증가되면서 교정 환자 수의 증가와 함께 교정 치료 중의 심미성에 대한 요구도 늘어나고 있다. 치료 중 심미성을 증진시키기 위한 목적으로 세라믹 브라켓이 개발되어 널리 사용되고 있으나 세라믹 자체의 취성(brittleness), 대합치의 마모뿐만 아니라, 임상적으로 높은 마찰 저항이 그 문제점으로 지적되고 있다. 본 연구는 세라믹 브라켓의 마찰 저항을 알아보고 그 개선방안을 찾는데 지침이 되고자 하는 목적으로 시행하였다. 연구 재료로는 마찰 저항을 줄이기 위해 금속 슬롯이 삽입된 다결정 세라믹 브라켓과 금속 슬롯이 삽입되지 않은 단결정 세라믹 브라켓과 금속 브라켓을 이용하였으며, .019 × .025 스테인리스 와이어를 브라켓 슬롯에 대해 0˚, 10˚의 각도를 부여하여 만능시험기상에서 이동시켜 그때의 정적, 동적 마찰력을 측정하였다. 연구 결과, 전체적인 평균 마찰력은 금속 브라켓, 금속 슬롯이 삽입된 다결정 세라믹 브라켓, 단결정 세라믹 브라켓 순으로 증가하였다. 브라켓 슬롯과 와이어 사이의 각도가 0˚일 때가 10˚일 때에 비해서 낮은 마찰 저항을 보였으며, 브라켓 슬롯과 와이어 사이의 각도가 10˚일 때 단결정 세라믹 브라켓의 동적, 정적 마찰 저항은 금속 브라켓이나 금속 슬롯이 삽입된 다결정 세라믹 브라켓에 비해 유의성 있게 크게 나타났다 (p < 0.05). 본 연구를 통해서 금속 브라켓에 비해 세라믹 브라켓, 특히 금속 슬롯이 삽입되지 않은 단결정 세라믹 브라켓의 마찰 저항이 높은 것을 확인할 수 있었으며, 브라켓 슬롯과 와이어 간의 각도가 증가하면 마찰 저항도 커지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 따라서 마찰력을 줄이기 위한 세라믹 브라켓의 개발과 함께 교정 치료 시 과도한 치관 경사를 막음으로써 마찰 저항을 줄이고 심미성을 유지하면서 치료의 효율을 높이도록 해야 할 것이다. Although ceramic brackets have been used widely for improved esthetics during treatment, ceramic brackets have some inherent problems; brittleness, attrition of the opposing teeth and high frictional resistance. This study was performed to understand the frictional resistance of the ceramic brackets, as well as to be a helpful reference for finding the solutions to the problem of frictional resistance. Three different kinds of brackets were used; metal bracket, polycrystalline ceramic brackets with a metal slot to reduce the high frictional resistance and monocrystalline ceramic brackets. The brackets were tested with a .019 × .025 stainless steel wire with a second order angulation of 0˚ and 10˚, and the static and kinetic frictional forces were measured on the universal testing machine. The results of this study showed that the ceramic brackets, especially the monocrystalline ceramic bracket without a metal slot, generated higher frictional resistance than the metal bracket, and the frictional resistance was increased as the angulation between the bracket slot and the wire increased. Therefore, the development of the ceramic bracket with reduced frictional resistance and the prevention of excessive crown tipping during orthodontic treatment will lead to the simultaneous attainment of more efficient and improved esthetic treatment goals.

Wind Generation is all-important energy in next generation as clean energy. Environmental pollution of wind force development is not exhausted entirely. And, electric-power production unit cost is cheap than other energy. Wind Generation system that is supplied much present is most horizontality style blade structure. But, Horizontal style structure is serious noise and there is problem in stability of blade. We designed special blade aiming to this problem. And, manufactured vertical axis wind force development system because using blade. Also, developed assistance power generator to heighten driving efficiency ago wind generation. We expect this devices that is such cover shortcoming of wind force development.

      • 위성 관제 신호 보호 알고리즘의 개선 방안

        In this thesis, we analyzed the weakness of authentication algorithm which is used for protection of TT&C generation and operation. Also, we proposed the authentication algorithm which complements key recovery attack structuely without increasing additional computational amount and verifed its performance. The proposed authetication algorithm can satisfy Rivest's recommendation by increasing the computational complexity from 2^55 operations to 2^111 operations. In addition, it can be applied to the existing satelite system because the length of TT&C data and message authentication codes used for the input of authentication algorithm are unchanged.

        In this paper, we suggest a new encryption system for high speed permutation image processing. We show how to secure attack relative to redundancy in image data. In addition, by applying the proposed permutation algorithm in image data, we show how to solve problems related to scanning sequence and scraming.
