This study aims to confirm the existence of participating motives of those who participate in bellydance in terms of demographic characteristics to examine the role of bellydance as leisure sports and the diferences in the motives according to the degree of participation, and to study the effective aspects of bellydaqnce as a way of sound leisure activities of modern people. A total of 200 questionnaire were distributed to those who participate in the bellydance programs of the Social Education Centers and Life Long Education Centers in Seoul, Daegu and Busan and 190 of them were collected, 177 questionnaires(93.2%), except those questionnaires whose answers were not sincere and some parts of which were missing, were analyzed positively. The data of this study were processed by using SPSs/PC+11.0.Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient was calculated for Frequency Analysis and Reliability Test to confirm general characteristics. And Principal Component Factor Analysis was conducted by using Verimax Orthogonal Rotation Factor Analysis to confirm the structure of motive factors ofr participation in bellydance. In order to confirm the differences between group and in the group by each factor. One-Way (ANOVA) was conducted. The findings obtained from the study model based on these methods of the study and the analysis of the dats are as follow: First, it is confirmed that there are significant differences in the participating motives by demographic characteristics. Second, it is confirmed that there are significant differences in the participating motives by the degrees of participation.

In this paper, we propose a face region detection based on skin-color distribution and facial feature extraction algorithm in color still images. To extract face region, we transform color using general skin-color distribution. Facial features are extracted by edge transformation. This detection process reduces calculation time by a scale-down scanning from segmented region. we can detect face region in various facial Expression, skin-color deference and tilted face images.

This paper investigates as follows. To heighten the record of watching system and the efficiency of detection, image treatment has been applied, which makes sufficient allowances for features of detection image. For this, searching system is designed, which divides image into background area and object area to detect. Suggested image system receives image from a CCD camera and then abstracts background image to be detected and object area to detect. By recording it as static image when any moving object is caught, this image system investigated here makes it possible to search detection image efficiently when needed. Thus, it can be searched by time and place.

The purpose of the research is to study the prediction of heat transfer on flat heat pipe applid to solar energy collector by the numerical study. Numerical analysis was performed by finite element method for the prediction of heat transfer on flat transfer on flat heat pipe. A comparison between the experimental and the numerical results show qualitatively agreement and it was able to predict the performence of flat heat pipe collector. The Biot number, (h_(ev)l)/Ks in order to know the effect of heat transfer on flat heat pipe was show to decrease by increas of heat transfer coefficient in vapor region, and with higher conductivity of container, Ks.

In this paper, it was presented that broadly delivered scanner devices can also used in fingerprint recognition process and then modified existing steps of fingerprint image processing. First, using the adaptive binary method, that effect was certified already, increased the effect of the results. And then, applying table mapping methods that looks for elements from look-up table, decreased the processing time, too. Finally, it was presented that ridge-direction characteristics extracted from these processes can used effectively in the area of fingerprint recognition system.

Background: To suggest a reasonable isometric point based on the anatomical consistency of interosseous membrane (IOM) attachment in association with topographic characteristics of the interosseous crests, the footprints of the central band (CB) of the IOM on the radial and ulnar interosseous crests (RIC and UIC) were measured. Methods: We measured the distance from the CB footprints from each apex of both interosseous crests in 14 cadavers and the angles between the forearm axis of rotation (AOR) and the distal slopes of the RIC and UIC in 33 volunteers. Results: The CB footprints lay on the downslope of both interosseous crests with its upper margin on average 3-mm proximal from the RIC’s apex consistently in the radial length, showing normality (p>0.05), and on average 16-mm distal from the UIC’s apex on the ulna without satisfying normality (p<0.05). The average angle between the UIC’s distal slope and the AOR was 1.3°, and the RIC’s distal slope to the AOR was 14.0°, satisfying the normality tests (p>0.05), and there was no side-to-side difference in both forearms (p<0.05). Conclusions: The CB attached to the downslope just distal to the RIC’s apex constrains the radius to the UIC that coincides with the AOR of the forearm circumduction, maintaining itself both isometrically and isotonically.
