        韓國產 弓針線蟲科의 분류학적 연구 및 1 新種 기재

        Trichodorus jeonjuensis n. sp는 T. cedarus. T. tricaulatus, T. californicus와 비슷하나 수컷에서는 3개의 복중앙 경공에 대하여 전방에 있고 교접자는 전체적으로 주름졌고, 첫째 보조돌기가 교접자 중앙부에 있으며 암컷의 질 모양이 신장형이다. T. tricaulatus는 우리날 미기록종으로 밝혀졌으며, T. cedarus와 Paratrichodorus porosus가 여러 곳에서 새로이 채집되어 기주식물 및 지역별 차이를 검토하였다. A new species, Trichodorus jeonjuensis n. sp., resembles T. cedarus Yokoo, 1964, T. tricaulatus Shishida, 1979, and T. californicus Allen, 1957, from which it differs by male with three ventromedian cervical pores anterior to excretory pore. The spicules are straited all over and first supplement is located on half of spicules and the female has kidney shape vagina. T. tricaulatus Shishida, 1979 is newly reported from Korea. T. cedarus Yokoo, 1964 and paratrichodorus porosus (Alen, 1957) Siddigi, 1974 were found at several localities and some morphological data were compared by localities.

        Kawasaki Disease Presenting as Parotitis in a 3-Month-Old Infant

        <P>A male infant aged 3 months and 1 week had persistently high fever with parotitis that was unresponsive to antibiotics. Mumps was identified by serologic study, but he was finally diagnosed by clinical features as having Kawasaki disease and echocardiographic findings on the 9th day of fever. Parotitis, which is unresponsive to antibiotics, should be considered Kawasaki disease even though typical symptoms are not present.</P>

        Successful treatment by exchange transfusion of a young infant with sodium nitroprusside poisoning

        Although sodium nitroprusside (SNP) is often used in pediatric intensive care units, cyanide toxicity can occur after SNP treatment. To treat SNP-induced cyanide poisoning, antidotes such as amyl nitrite, sodium nitrite, sodium thiosulfate, and hydroxycobalamin should be administered immediately after diagnosis. Here, we report the first case of a very young infant whose SNP-induced cyanide poisoning was successfully treated by exchange transfusion. The success of this alternative method may be related to the fact that exchange transfusion not only removes the cyanide from the blood but also activates detoxification systems by supplying sulfur-rich plasma. Moreover, exchange transfusion replaces cyanide-contaminated erythrocytes with fresh erythrocytes, thereby improving the blood's oxygen carrying capacity more rapidly than antidote therapy. Therefore, we believe that exchange transfusion might be an effective therapeutic modality for critical cases of cyanide poisoning.

        A Case of Encephalitis Caused by Epstein-Barr Virus Infection

        발열을 동반한 경련 이후 의식 저하를 주소로 내원한 환아에서 전형적인 전염성 단핵구증의 증상 및 비정형 림프구 혈증, 혈청학적 검사에서 양성 소견을 보여 EBV 감염에 의한 전염성 단핵구증의 합병증으로 발생한 뇌염으로 진단한 증례가 있어 보고하는 바이다. An 11-year-old girl was diagnosed with encephalitis due to Epstein-Barr virus(EBV). She was admitted to our hospital due to convulsion and decreased consciousness after several days of fever, sore throat and headache. Cerebrospinal fluid analysis showed lymphocyte-dominant pleocytosis and markedly elevated levels of protein. Magnetic resonance imaging(MRI) finding was normal, except for marked leptomeningeal enhancement. Even though she had signs and symptoms of infectious mononucleosis, EBV infection could not be considered as the underlying cause of the encephalitis until IgM for the viral capsid antigen of EBV had been detected in her blood. After treatment with acyclovir, a high dose of methylprednisolone and intravenous immunoglobulin, the neurological symptoms improved rapidly. She has not suffered from any neurological complications in the four months since being discharged. EBV infection should be considered as the main etiology in cases of childhood encephalitis, although there is no evidence of infectious mononucleosis existed.

        Corrosion Characteristics of Welding Zones Welded with 1.25Cr-0.5 Mo Filler Metal to Forged Steel for Piston Crown Material

        A heavy oil of low quality has been mainly used in the diesel engine of the merchant ship as the oil price has been significantly jumped for several years. Thus, a combustion chamber of the engine has been often exposed to severely corrosive environment more and more because temperature of the exhaust gas of the combustion chamber has been getting higher and higher with increasing of using the heavy oil of low quality. As a result, wear and corrosion of the engine parts such as exhaust valve, piston crown and cylinder head surrounded with combustion chamber are more serious compared to the other parts of the engine. Therefore, an optimum repair welding for these engine parts is very important to prolong their lifetime in a economical point of view. In this study, 1.25Cr-0.5Mo filler metal was welded with SMAW method in the forged steel which would be generally used with piston crown material. And the corrosion properties of weld metal, heat affected and base metal zones were investigated using electrochemical methods such as measurement of corrosion potential, anodic polarization curves, cyclic voltammogram and impedance etc. in 35% H2SO4 solution. The weld metal and base metal zones exhibited the highest and lowest values of hardness respectively. And, the corrosion resistance of the heat affected and weld metal zones was also increased than that of the base metal zone. Furthermore, it appeared that the corrosive products with red color and local corrosion like as a pitting corrosion were more frequently observed on the surface of the base metal zone compared to the heat affected and weld metal zones. Consequently, it is suggested that the mechanical and corrosion characteristics of the piston crown can be predominantly improved by repair welding method using the 1.25Cr-0.5Mo electrode.

        팀 프로젝트 기반 학습 상황에서 촉진적 상호작용이 기업영재성 및 창의적 효능감에 미치는 영향: 공유정신모형의 매개효과를 중심으로

        21세기 현대사회의 문제들은 실제적인 문제해결능력을 갖춘 생산적이면서도 융복합적인 창의적 인재를 요구하고 있다. 시대적 배경 아래 한국에서는 지난 10년 동안 지식재산 기반 기업영재 육성위한 교육 정책을 적극적으로 추진하고 있다. 이와 관련하여 이 연구에서는 청소년 기업영재들의 팀 프로젝트 기반 학습 상황에서 팀원들 간의 촉진적 상호작용이 이들의 기업영재성과 창의적 효능감에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 특히, 이 연구에서는 팀 프로젝트 기반 학습 이론의 공유정신모형 개념을 적용하여 팀 내의 공유된 정신모형이 팀상호작용과 기업영재성 및 창의적 효능감의 관계에 영향을 미치는 매개모형을 가설로 설정하고 이를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 KAIST 산하 IP영재기업인교육원에서 운영하는 팀 프로젝트 활동에 참여한 87명의 청소년 영재들에게 팀상호작용, 공유정신모형, 기업영재성, 창의적 효능감에 관한 설문조사를 실시하고, 가설모형으로 제시된 매개효과의 유의성을 분석하였다. 연구결과, 팀상호작용과 기업영재성의 관계에서 팀원관련 공유정신모형만이 완전매개하였으며, 과제관련 공유정신모형의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 또한, 팀상호작용과 창의적 효능감의 관계에도 팀원 관련 공유정신모형만이 완전매개하였으며 과제 관련 공유정신모형의 매개효과는 유의하지 않았다. 이러한 연구 결과는 인재들의 기업영재성과 창의적 역량을 높이기 위해서는 팀원의 자원을 활용하는 능력이 핵심적인 요인이라는 점을 시사하고 있다. Today"s complex and uncertain 21st-century society requires productive, convergent and creative tales with practical problem-solving skills. South Korea has been pushing for educational policies on fostering intellectual property-based the entrepreneurial gifted persons over the past decade, especially striving to enhance productive creativity through collaborative learning through team project-based learning for the entrepreneurial gifted adolescents. In this study, we aimed to verify how facilitative interactions among team members in team project-based learning situations for youth the entrepreneurial gifted children enhance their entrepreneurial giftedness and creative efficacy. Specifically in this study, the concepts of a shared mental model in the team project-based learning theory was applied to establish and verify the research model for a shared mental model based on team interaction, entrepreneurial giftedness and creative efficacy. To that end, the IP Center for the Gifted in Korea conducted a team project-based activity for one week. Eighty seven gifted youth students were surveyed on team interactions, shared mental models, entrepreneurial giftedness and creative efficacy. The collected data was analyzed to measure the significance of the mediated effects following the regression analysis procedure suggested by Hayes (2013). As a result of the study, only team member-related shared mental models were fully mediated in the relationship between team interaction and entrepreneurial giftedness, and the mediating effect of task-related shared mental models was not significant. In addition, despite the relationship between team interaction and creative efficacy, only team member-related shared mental models were fully mediated, and the mediating effects of task-related shared mental models were not significant. The results of this study suggest that the ability to utilize team members" resources is a key factor to enhance the productive creativity of intellectual property-based talents.

        혈역학적으로 안정된 혈액투석환자에서 심장 질환 지표로서 B-type Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), N-terminal pro-BNP Cardiac Troponin T 측정

        목적: 만성 신질환 환자들은 일반인에 비해서 관상 동맥질환과 좌심실 비대가 동반되는 경우가 많다. 일반인에서 Btype Natriuretic Peptide (BNP), N-terminal pro-BNP (NT-proBNP), Cardiac Troponin T (cTnT)가 심질환 진단과 예후 인자로 유용하게 사용되고 있다. 투석 환자에서도 표지자를 이용하여 심질환을 예측할 수 있는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방법: 2004년 9월부터 9개월간 삼성서울병원에서 6개월 이상 투석을 받고 있는 환자 중 급성 심혈관계 질환이 없는 27명을 대상으로 하였다. 같은 날 채혈과 심장초음파 검사를 시행하였다. 결과: BNP, NT-proBNP, cTnT 중앙값 (pg/mL)은 각각 433, 10,598, 0.021이었다. NT-proBNP는 BNP (r= 0.940, p=0.000), cTnT (r=0.504, p=0.009)와 뚜렷한 양의 상관관계를 보였다. BNP, NT-proBNP는 심박출 계수와는 음의 상관관계를 (각각 r=-0.502, p=0.008 vs. r=-0.556, p=0.003), 좌심실 질량 지수와는 양의 상관관계를 보였다 (각각 r=0.619, p=0.001 vs. r=0.718, p=0.000). cTnT는 심박출 계수와 음의 상관관계를 보였으나 (r=-0.513, p=0.007), 좌심실 질량 지수와는 상관관계를 보이지 않았다 (r=0.369, p=0.063). 심박출 계수에 독립적으로 영향을 미치는 인자는 albumin, cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, NT-proBNP이었고 (R2=0.80), 좌심실 질량 지수에 영향을 미치는 인자는 나이, body mass index, LDL-cholesterol, NT-proBNP, cTnT이었다 (R2=0.78). 결론: 혈액투석을 받고 있는 환자에서도 표지자 측정이 심질환을 예측하는데 도움이 될 것으로 사료된다. Purpose: The prevalence of coronary artery disease and left ventricular hypertrophy (LVH) is higher in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) than in the general population. In the general population, BNP, NT-proBNP, and cTnT are useful markers of cardiac disease. Recently, studies on biomarkers in patients with CKD have been reported. However, the effect of renal disease on these markers is still uncertain particularly in hemodialysis patients. We investigated the potential of BNP, NT-proBNP, and cTnT as biomarkers of cardiac disease in hemodialysis patients. Methods: We prospectively studied 27 hemodialysis patients without cardiovascular event within the last 6 months. We performed an echocardiography and blood samples for plasma BNP, NT-proBNP and cTnT. Results: Median BNP, NT-proBNP, and cTnT level (pg/mL) were 433, 10,598, and 0.021, respectively. NT-proBNP was correlated with BNP (r=0.940, p=0.000) and cTnT (r=0.504, p=0.009). There was a negative correlation between BNP and left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) (r=-0.502, p=0.008), between NT-proBNP and LVEF (r=-0.556, p=0.003), and between cTnT and LVEF (r=-0.513, p=0.007). There was a positive correlation between BNP and LV mass index (LVMI) (g/m2) (r=0.619, p=0.001). Also, a positive correlation between NT-proBNP and LVMI was shown (r=0.718, p=0.000). There was an insignificant positive correlation between cTnT and LVMI (r=0.369, p=0.063). Albumin, cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, and NT-proBNP had an independent effect on LVEF (R2=0.80). Age, body mass index, LDL-cholesterol, NT-proBNP, and cTnT had an independent effect on LVMI (R2=0.78). Conclusion: BNP, NT-proBNP, and cTnT may be as a noninvasive diagnostic or prognostic marker of cardiac disease in stable hemodialysis patients.
