The diagnostic requirements were suggested and explained regarding the systems of differentiation of symptoms and signs in the second year study of standardization and unification of the terms and conditions used for diagnosis in oriental medicine. The systems were as follows; - differential diagnosis according to condition of body fluid, differentiation of syndromes according to the state of qi and blood, differential diagnosis according to relative excessiveness or deficiency of yin and yang(氣血陰陽津液辨證) - differentiation of diseases according to pathological changes of the viscera and their interrelation - analyzing and differentiating of febrile diseases in accordance with the theory of the six channels(傷寒辨證) The individual diagnosis pattern was arranged by the diagnostic requirements in the following order : another name(異名), notion of diagnosis pattern, index of differentiation of symptoms and signs(辨證指標), the main point of diagnosis, analysis of diagnosis pattern(證候分析), discrimination of diagnosis pattern(證候鑑別), a way of curing a diseases(治法), prescription(處方), herb in common use(常用藥物), diseases appearing the diagnosis pattern(常見疾病), documents(文獻調査). This study was carried out on the basis of the Chinese documents and references.

Main route of Tsushima Warm Current (TWC) and a roundabout flow near Goto Islands were examined by water mass analysis and geostrophic calcualtion with hydrographic data observed in the sea between Cheju and Gotto Islands in winter, spring, 1998 and summer. 1994. Most of warm and saline waters which distribute in the center of Cheju-Gotto channel in winter link with waters from the southwest but not to link with waters from the southeast of Gotto Islands. Warm and saline waters near Gotto Islands seems to turn around the islands and to go southward along the iso-bath line. Geostrphic calculation shows that volume transports passing through Cheju-Gotto channel is about 26.9 Sv in winter. 16.4 Sv in spring and summer. But volume transport in the depths of 100-150m is a little larger in summer than in winter. which supports the fact that transport volume passing the western channel of Korean Straits is two times larger in summer than in winter.

In order to study on the seasonal circulation in the South and West Seas of Korean Peninsula and the inflow of warm waters into the West Sea(eastern Yellow Sea) in summer, water mass analysis is used with temperature and salinity data observed by National Fisheries Research & Development Agency du-ring 1970~1990. In the West Sea, warm waters are majorly mixed by the mixing rate of 40~60% in summer, while cold waters are dominant in winter. In the central region of the Yellow Sea. warm waters are distributed linked with the northwestern sea of Cheju Islands in winter but cold waters are distribu-ted in the lower layer in summer. The reverse of water mass distributions in winter and summer could be explained only by the seasonal circulations. In winter, warm waters are intruded to the central region and cold waters flow southward along the west coast of Korea. In summer, warm waters flow northward along the west coast of Korea and cold waters flow southward in the central region. Therefore, Yellow Sea Warm Waters can be defined as the northward flow of warm waters toward the central region of the Yellow Sea in winter and along the west coast of Korea in summer.

Abnormally low salinity waters around Cheju Island in summer seem to be mainly due to increasing fresh water run-offs from the Yangtze River resulting from heavy precipitation in China but not due to precipitation around the region of Cheju Island directly. Judging from that abnormally low salinity waters appeared in summer 1996 and 1998 when no typhoons passed by the adjacent seas of Cheju Island, typhoons seem to play a role in preventing surface salinity lowering. There can be two possible explanations on the fact that low salinity waters around Cheju Island does not link with those in the mouth of Yangtze River. First, fresh water runoffs from Yangtze River vary with time and so that low salinity waters around Cheju Island can be separated in salinity. Second, Yangtze Coastal Waters in the river mouth goes eastward first to the center of the East China Sea where it goes northward to Cheju Island by the round route.

The author present a modified multi-loop algorithm including feedforward for controlling a 55kW step down chopper in the power supply of Maglev. The control law for the duty cycle consists of three terms. The first is the feedforward term which compensates for variations in the input voltage. The second term consists of the difference between the slowly moving inductor current and output current. The third term consists of proportional and integral terms involving the perturbation in the output voltage. This perturvation is derived by subtracting the desired output voltage from the actual output voltage. The proportional and integral action stabilizes the system and minimizes output voltage error. In order to verify the validity of the proposed multi-loop controller, simulation study was tried using Matlab simulink.

Adsorption equilibrium of heavy metals ion on the peat moss was confirmed Frundlich isotherm Removal efficiency of heavy metals ion was increased from pH 2 to 10 and heavy metal removal efficiency was increased in the sequence of Cu(Ⅱ) > Pb(Ⅱ) > Cd(Ⅱ) > Mn(Ⅱ) on the PM(Peat Moss). The PM is likely to be more effective adsorption than the PAC to removal of metal ions in the solution, since PM's weakly acidic functional groups which is not founded on the PAC, in addition to its high surface area and porosity. But, the PM is not separated from the solution water by sedimentation process. So, a liquid and solid seperation between the PM and the solution water could be considered for the PM's field application. But peat moss was low cost adsorbent. Thus author propose to adopt PM as a adsorbent for heavy metal removal.
