      • Application of Artificial Insemination Technology for Dairy Breeding in Mongolia

        This study was focused on improvement of milk production in Mongolia dairy industry by artificial insemination (AI) technology, of which was supported from ODA project of KOICA in Republic of Korea. The study was started from January 2009 to present and 3rd years in this year. So, all data, especially synchronization and pregnancy of dairy cows (Holstein) will be summarized in final result in this year. For synchronization, total 81 dairy cows selected from 4 private farms that were 38, 30, 8 and 5 in Undarmal milk, Onjin (Enkhbayer), Jargalant, and BRM School, respectively. All the dairy cows were injected intramuscular (IM) of 5 ml PGF2α in the vulva and detected estrus 2 to 3 days after PGF2α injection. Total 78 out of 81 dairy cows (96.3%) were detected estrus by only 1 time injection of PGF2α. The dairy cows that were induced estrus, inseminated with 0.5 ml dairy frozen semen by conventional AI techniques. The pregnancy diagnosis of the AI dairy cows was detected by uterus palpation after 60 days of insemination. Total 75 from 78 inseminated dairy cows (90.1%) were diagnosis pregnant. The estrus induction and pregnant rate were very effective using PGF2α injection and conventional AI techniques in Mongolia dairy cow. The results indicated that AI after estrus induction in Mongolia dairy cows could be applied to dairy breeding technology to improve the breeding efficiency and milk production.

      • 퍼지 전문가 시스템을 이용한 BLDC 전동기의 자동조정 PID 속도제어에 관한 연구

        This paper proposes the rule-based expert system with auto-turning of PID controller gain and shows the efficiency of fuzzy expert system for the speed control of BLDC motor. The PID controller gain tuned using RZN(refined ZN) formula to initial tuning and fuzzy expert system to subsequent tuning. The fuzzy expert PID control method proposed in this paper results in the reduction of overshoot, the rapid response and the robustness for disturbances and noise.

        This paper attempts to extract the crack tip stress intensity factors and to make a crack propagation model under mixed mode, from the finite element analysis of the concrete structures. In finite element analysis, all elements are initially assumed to be conventional quadratic isoparametric elements and are replaced by 6 node triangular singularity elements in the crack tip zone only. The stress intensity factors and the angle of propagation are carried out by displacement correlation technique and maximum circumferential tensile stress theory respectively. At the first part in a series of two papers, some numerical examples about the concrete SENB and DISK are presented to illustrate the practical effectiveness of the technique.

        북미자유무역협정(NAFTA)의 출범과 미국노사관계의 변화

        탈냉전 시기 미국의 새로운 국제전략은 세계 각국의 불균등한 발전상황을 적절히 이끌어 새로운 팍스 아메리카나의 시대를 열겠다는 명확한 목표를 가지고 있다. 기술 및 산업의 차원에서 이 목표는 정보통신분야의 주도권 장악으로 추진되고 있으며, 세계무역질서의 차원에서는 WTO와 NAFTA의 구축으로 젼개되고 있다. 여기서 NAFTA는 두가지 함을 갖는다. 첫째, 궁극적으로 지구적 지배력을 재구축하기 위한 지역적 발판을 마련하는 것이다. 둘째, 발전도상국과 선진국의 전면적 자유무역이 개신된다는 것이다. 미국 노사관계의 변화와 관련해서는 특히 두 번째 측면에 주목할 필요가 있을 것이다. 그러나 현재 진행되고 있는 미국 노사관계의 변화는 NAFTA 자체보다는 포드주의의 위기와 다른 선진자본주의국과의 경쟁에서 더 큰 영향을 받고 있는 것으로 판단된다. 즉 미국적 노사관계를 대표해 온 뉴딜형 노사관계와 실리적 조합주의의 한계에 대한 인식은 바로 이것들이 기반하고 있는 포드주의에 대한 비판과 대체의 과정에서 필연적으로 나타나고 있는 것이다. 이와 관련하여 NAFTA는 미국의 노동조합이 종래의 보호주의적 외투를 벗어버리고 개발도상국 노동자들과의 연대를 적극적으로 추구해야 할 필요성을 강화한다. 포스트 포드주의를 배경으로 미국의 자본과 정부가 주도하고 있는 실리적 조합주의에서 참여적 조합주의로의 변화에 대해 미국의 조동조합이 얼마나 적극적으로 대처할 수 있느냐의 문제는 새로운 국제적 연대에 얼마나 적극적으로 대처할 수 있느냐의 문제와 깊은 상관관계를 가질 것이다. The international strategies of America in the post cold-war period have the apparent objective that America will open a new pax-Americana age, by leading the unequal developmental situations among every countries in the world. This objective is propelled through holding the initiative in the field of information and communication in terms of technology and industry, and is developed by the establishment of the WTO and NAFTA in terms of the world trade order. Here, NAFTA has two implications; first, preparing for a regional platform so that America will be able to re-establish its global power; secon, the overall free-trade between advanced countries and developingcountries is beginning. With regardto the change of America's capital-labour relations, we need to call our attention to the second aspect. But it seems that the change of America's capital-labour relations in progress is more affected by the competition with other advanced countries than by NAFTA. That is, the recognition of the limits of the New-Deal capital-labour relations up to the present is necessarily emerging in the process of cirticizing and replacing Fordism which is regarded as a basis for both. Accordingly, NAFTA is strengthening its position on the necessity for labour in the US to actively pursue solidarity with unions in developing countries, taking off its old protectionist cloat. As for unions in America, how to cope with the transition from business unionism to participatory unionism which America's capital and government are leading in the back-ground of post-Fordism will be closely related with how actively to pursue a new international solidarity.

        법랑모세포 분화와 법랑질 형성과정에서 OD314, Apin protein의 발현 및 기능

        본 연구에서는 법랑모세포 분화와 법랑질 형성에 연관이 있는 OD314 일명 Apin protein의 기능을 밝힐 목적으로, in-situ hybridization에 의한 OD314 mRNA 발현과 법랑모세포 세포주에서 OD314 enamel matrix protein의 발현, 그리고 OD314 유전자를 과발현/억제시킬 수 있는 construct를 제작한 후 법랑질 형성 중에 OD314의 기능을 알아보고자 RT-PCR를 시행하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. OD314 mRNA는 발생중인 상아모세포보다 법랑모세포에서 강하게 발현되었다. 2. Tuftelin은 석회화 결정이 형성되는 14일까지 발현이 지속되고, 그 이후부터 점차 감소하였다. Amelogenin과enamelin은 7일부터 그 발현이 점점 감소하였다. 3. U6-OD314 siRNA construct를 이용하여 transfection한 법랑모세포 세포주는 OD314와 tuftelin,MMP2 mRNA 발현이 감소하였으며, CM-OD314를 transfection하여 OD314의 과발현을 유도한 경우에는 OD314와 MMP20 mRNA의 발현이 뚜렷이 증대되었다. 이 결과는 OD314가 법랑모세포의 분화와 법랑질의 형성 그리고 석회화 과정에 중요한 역할을 하는 새로운 인자임을 시사한다. This study was aimed to elucidate the biological function of OD314 (Apin protein), which is related to ameloblast differentiation and amelogenesis. Apin protein, calcifying epithelial odontogenic (pindborg) tumors (CEOTs)-associated amyloid, were isolated from CEOTs, and has similar nucleotide sequences to OD314. We examined expression of the OD314 mRNA using in-situ hybridization during tooth development in mice. Expression of OD314 and several enamel matrix proteins were examined in the cultured ameloblast cell line up to 28 days by reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) amplification. After inactivation and over-expression of the OD314 gene in ameloblast cell lines using U6 vector-driven RNA interference and CMV-OD314 construct, RT-PCR were performed to evaluate the effect of the OD314 during amelogenesis. The results were as follows: 1. In in-situ hybridization, OD314 mRNAs were more strongly expressed in ameloblast than odontoblast. 2. When ameloblast cells were cultured in the differentiation and mineralization medium for 28 days, the tuftelin mRNA expression was maintained from the beginning to day 14, and then gradually decreased to day 28. The expressions of amelogenin and enamelin were gradually decreased according to the ameloblast differentiation. 3. Inactivation of OD314 by U6-OD314 siRNA construct down-regulated the expression of OD314, MMP-20, and tuftelin, whereas over-expression of OD314 by CMV-OD314 construct up-regulated the expression of OD314 and MMP-20 without change in tuftelin. These results suggest that OD314 is considered as an ameloblast-enriched gene and may play the important roles in ameloblast differentiation and mineralization.

      • H_2S의 선택적 산화반응에 미치는 변형된 Zeolite X 촉매의 영향

        The selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide was studied over Zeolite X catalysts(Zeolite HX, LiX, NaX, KX) that were prepared by ion exchange method. The acidity sequence of modified Zeolite X catalyst was as follow, Zeolite HX >Zeolite LiX> Zeolite NaX >Zeolite KX.The basicity sequence was reverse of acidity one. For the same conditions (reaction temperature: 225˚c space velocity: 20000h^-1), the conversion of hydrogen sulfide was decreased in Zeolite KX > Zeolite NaX > Zeolite LiX > Zeolite HX order. It was determined that the selective oxidation of hydrogen sulfide was influednced by acidity and basicity. In case of Zeolite NaX catalyst, the yield of element surfer 90% can be obtained at reaction temperature(200), the ratio of O2/H2S (0.5).

        Eosinophilic gastroenteritis is a rare disorder of unknown etiology characterized by presence of gastrointestinal symptoms, eosinophilic infiltratio n of one or more parts of gastrointestinal tract without involvement of other organs and absence of parasitic infestation. The clinical presentation depends on the extents and depths of eosinophilic infiltration. Mucosal involvement may result in abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and weight loss. We report a case of eosinophilic enterocolitis in a 55-year-old female presented with abdominal pain and watery diarrhea resulting in recurrent acute renal failure.
