New dense composites comprised of a lanthanium manganite system, (La_(1-x)Sr_x)(Mn_(0.85)Fe_(0.0)5Co_(0.05)Ni_(0.05))O_(3+δ)(LSMFCN, Sr^(2+)(x) = 0~0.4 mole) and yttria-stabilized zirconia (YSZ) were fabricated for use as oxygen separation membranes. The densification behavior of the LSMFCN/YSZ composites were studied by sintering with different ratios of LSMFCN and YSZ at various temperatures in air. A density of about 95% was achieved for a sintering temperature of 1200°C. The electrical conductivity of the LSMFCN0/YSZ composites as a function of reciprocal absolute temperature with various YSZ contents was measured. The activation energies for conduction below and above 500°C were about 89 kJ/mol and 68 kJ/mol, respectively. The oxygen permeation flux increased until the YSZ concentration was 60 wt. %, then decreased at 80 wt. % of YSZ. The oxygen permeation flux of the 0.5 mm composite membrane was 1.06 sccm/cm^2 at a 4:6 mixed ratio of LSMFCN0 /YSZ at 1200°C.

The Colletotrichum gloeosporioides species complex includes many phytopathogenic species, causing anthracnose disease on a wide range of host plants and appearing to be globally distributed. Seventy-one Colletotrichum isolates in the complex from different plants and geographic regions in Korea were preserved in the Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC). Most of them had been identified based on hosts and morphological features, this could lead to inaccurate species names. Therefore, the KACC isolates were re-identified using DNA sequence analyses of six loci, comprising internal transcribed spacer, gapdh, chs-1, his3, act, and tub2 in this study. Based on the combined phylogenetic analysis, KACC strains were assigned to 12 known species and three new species candidates. The detected species are C. siamense (n = 20), C. fructicola (n = 19), C. gloeosporioides (n = 9), C. aenigma (n = 5), C. camelliae (n = 3), C. temperatum (n = 3), C. musae (n = 2), C. theobromicola (n = 2), C. viniferum (n = 2), C. alatae (n = 1), C. jiangxiense (n = 1), and C. yulongense (n = 1). Of these, C. jiangxiense, C. temperatum, C. theobromicola and C. yulongense are unrecorded species in Korea. Host plant comparisons showed that 27 fungus-host associations are newly reported in the country. However, plant-fungus interactions need to be investigated by pathogenicity tests.
실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서 눈 맞춤이 사용자 경험에 미치는 영향

COVID-19로 인한 비대면 문화의 확산은 언택트 서비스 혁신과 화상회의 플랫폼을 통한 비대면 커뮤니케이션 확대로 이어졌다. 그러나 실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서는 비언어적 표현을 확인하는 것이 어려워졌고, 특히나 눈 맞춤을 통한 상호작용은 불가능한 상황이다. 감정을 공유하고 친밀감을 쌓는데 도움을 주는 등 눈 맞춤의 긍정적인 효과가 있음에도 불구하고 실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서 눈 맞춤의 효과를 실증적으로 검증한 연구는 전무한 실정이다. 이에 이 연구는 실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서 눈 맞춤의 효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 커뮤니케이션의 맥락과 눈 맞춤 유무에 따라 6가지 영상 처치물을 사용하여 지속 사용 의도, 성과기대, 상호작용성, 개인적 유대감을 측정하였다. 연구결과, 모든 맥락에서 눈 맞춤이 없을 때보다 눈 맞춤이 있을 때 모든 측정 변인에서 높게 평가되었다. 이 연구는 실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서 눈 맞춤의 효과를 실험을 통해 검증하고 기술의 필요성과 발전 방향을 제안하여 실시간 온라인 커뮤니케이션에서 더 나은 사용자 경험을 제공하는데 기여할 것이다. The spread of non-face-to-face culture due to COVID-19 led to innovation in untact services and the increase of non-face-to-face communication through video conference platforms. However, it is difficult to identify nonverbal expressions in synchronous online communication. Moreover, it is hard to interact with people by making eye contact. Despite the positive effects of eye contact, including such as sharing emotions and helping build intimacy, no research has empirically verified the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication. Thus, the study verified the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication. Depending on the context of the communication and whether(or not) there is eye contact, six video treatments were used to measure four dependent variables-Continuance Intention to Use, Performance Expectancy, Interactivity, and Personal Connection. The study shows that the communication with eye contact in all contexts was rated higher than the one without eye contact in all measurement variables. This study will help to provide a better user experience in synchronous online communication by verifying the effectiveness of eye contact in synchronous online communication and proposing the need of technology and the direction of the technological development.
