This study provided an analytical method for real-time system identification by utilizing fundamental linear algebra and minimizing a quadratic form of the differences in physical properties calculated from the initially given properties and the next expected properties. The validity of the proposed method depends on the selected weighting matrix. Although it was observed that the propostd methd gives reasonable values by the proper selection of the weighting matrix, the deficiency of this method like the proper selection of weighting matrix with time needs to he improved.

본 논문은 발달장애유아 언어행동발달 컨텐츠 개발에 요구되는 기초연구로써 연구의 이론적 바탕을 확립하고자 하였다. 연구에 사용된 방법은 문헌조사 방법 및 현장 인터뷰기법을 병행하였다. 본 연구의 주된 목적은 크게 3가지로 구분된다. 첫째, 발달장애유아의 가정 내 교육 욕구를 분석하고자 하였다. 둘째, 발달장애유아의 언어발달 양상을 검토하고자 하였다. 세 번째 목적은 유아의 언어행동발달 컨텐츠 구성의 주요 지침을 설정하고자 하였다. 이상의 연구목적에 따른 연구결과를 요약하면 다음 몇 가지로 제시된다. 1.가정 내 부모-유아간 관계형성이 우선 고려 되어야하고, 이에 따른 상호작용은 발달적 애착형성이 가능한 방향으로 정립되어야한다. 2.발달장애유아의 언어행동발달양상을 검토한 결과에 따르면, Piaget는 언어행동발달에 있어 감각운동기적 환경탐색 기능을 강조하고 있고, 이는 현재까지 중요한 유아 발달의 기저로 정착되었다. 따라서, 발달장애유아의 언어행동발달을 위한 컨텐츠 개발 내용에 있어서도 이러한 기저에 충실함이 합리적이다. 3.발달장애유아들에게는 언어행동 양상의 갈래가 크게 운동장애 및 감각결함으로 나누어질 수 있으므로, 이 두 가지 갈래의 각기 다른 특성이 컨텐츠 구성에서 충분히 고려되어야한다. 4.자폐성과 같은 중증 전반적 발달장애 유아를 위한 언어행동발달 컨텐츠 구성에서 특히 고려해야 할 두 가지 요소는 모방행동기능과 반복단순훈련기능 향상으로 결론지을 수 있다. This article planed to establish the theoretical foundations of the research as a basic study needed for developing the contents of verbal(language) behavior development for the infants with developmental disabilities. The methods used in the study was previous literature researches and interviews with subjects. The purposes of the study were divided into three parts. First, it was to analyze the educational needs of the infants with developmental disabilities in home settings. Second, it was to review and discover the language patterns of the infants with developmental disabilities. The third purpose was to devise the major guidelines of their language development's contents. The results of the study were described as the followings. 1.The relationships between the infants with developmental disabilities and their parents and their interactions should move to build the developmental attachments between them. 2.According to the literature findings of their language development patterns, Piaget concentrated on the functions of sensory motor environmental exploring in the language behavior development. The functions have been settled down into the important foundation for the infants' development. Thus, it was resonable that the content's development of the language behaviors for the infants with developmental disabilities should based on the function addressed by Piaget. 3.The language behaviors' patterns of the infants with developmental disabilities generally were classified into motor disabilities and sensory defect(deficiency). Therefore, the two factors should be considered for the constructions of the contents. 4.Constructing the contents of the language behavior developments for the infants with severely pervasive developmental disabilities such as autism, the improvements of two functions, imitative behavior and repetitive simple training should be considered.
A Reconfigurable Heterogeneous Multimedia Processor for IC-Stacking on Si-Interposer

<P>This paper presents a heterogeneous multimedia processor for embedded media applications such as image processing, vision, 3-D graphics and augmented reality (AR), assuming integrated circuit (IC)-stacking on Si-interposer. This processor embeds reconfigurable output drivers for external memory interface to increase memory bandwidth even in a mobile environment. The implemented output driver reconfigures its driving strength according to channel loss between the implemented processor and the memory, so it enables highspeed data communication while achieving 8× higher memory bandwidth compared to previous embedded media processors. The implemented processor includes three main programmable intellectual properties, mode-configurable vector processing units (MCVPUs), a unified filtering unit (UFU), and a unified shader. MCVPUs have 32 integer (16 bit) cores in order to support dual-mode operations between image-level processing and graphics processing. This mode-configuration enables a frame-level pipelining in AR application, so the proposed processor achieves 1.7× higher frame rate compared to the sequential AR processing. UFU supports 16 types of filtering operations only with a single instruction. Most image-level processing consists of various types of filtering operations, so UFU can improve media processing performance and energy-efficiency. UFU also supports texture filtering which is performance bottleneck of common graphics pipeline. A memory-access-efficient (off-chip memory) texturing algorithm named as an adaptive block selection is proposed to enhance texturing performance in 3-D graphics pipeline. UFU has two-level on-chip memory hierarchies, a 512B level-0 (L0) data buffer, and an 8kB level-1 (L1) static random-access memory (SRAM) cache. The small-sized L0 data buffer limits direct references to the large-sized L1 SRAM cache to reduce energy consumed in on-chip memories. Unified shader consists of four homogeneous scalar processing elements (SPEs) for geometry operations in 3-D graphics. Each SPE has single-precision floating-point data-paths, since precision of geometry operations in 3-D graphics is important in today's handheld devices (high resolution). The proposed media processor is fabricated in 0.13 μm CMOS technology with 4 mm × 4 mm chip size, and dissipates 275 mW for full AR operation.</P>

Current study has demonstrated microfabricated fluidic devices can provide a useful platform for studying stem cell differentiations. The co-culture devices are designed for two different cell, i.e. stem cell and feeder, to indirectly contact and to exchange the soluble factors through pillar array so that chemically conditioned culture condition can be formed for stem cell differentiation. The device was fabricated using soft lithography techniques in poly(dimethylsiloxane), PDMS, and dental pailla stem cells (DPPSCs) and astrocyte were seeded in. DPPSCs and astrocyte were respectively acquired from unerupted wisdom teeth and from brain cortexes of mice(P2). Using this device, dental papilla stem cells (DPPSCs) were induced to differentiate to have neuronal morphology due to the astrocyte associated soluble factor rich microenvironment. Our preliminary results show that after four to five days, DPPSCs begin to show neuronal morphologies. We are currently trying to find both immunocytochemical and electrophysiological proofs for DPPSCs differentiations.

This study’s purpose is to report the effectiveness of Korean medicine treatment to posterior cruciate ligament tear patients due to traffic accident. 2 patients were treated with Korean medicine by acupuncture, pharmacopuncture and herbal medication. We assessed the knee pain and functional improvement by using numeric rating scale (NRS), Western Ontario and McMaster Universities arthritis (WOMAC) index and EuroQol-5 dimension (EQ-5D) index. After treatment, NRS decreased from 6 to 2 in case 1 and from 5 to 3 in case 2. EQ-5D index chaged from 0.465 to 0.72 in case 1 and from 0.719 to -0.171 in case 2. WOMAC index decreased from 82 to 13 in case 1 and from 55 to 54 in case 2. NRS improved in both cases, but WOMAC index and EQ-5D index improved in only one case. Korean medicine treatment could be helpful for posterior cruciate ligament tear traffic accident patients. However, further clinical studies are needed to clarify the effectiveness to the patients with old age, degeneration and accompanying injury. (J Korean Med Rehabil 2021;31(3):141-147)
ITGBL1 modulates integrin activity to promote cartilage formation and protect against arthritis

<P>Developing and mature chondrocytes constantly interact with and remodel the surrounding extracellular matrix (ECM). Recent research indicates that integrin-ECM interaction is differentially regulated during cartilage formation (chondrogenesis). Integrin signaling is also a key source of the catabolic reactions responsible for joint destruction in both rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. However, we do not understand how chondrocytes dynamically regulate integrin signaling in such an ECM-rich environment. Here, we found that developing chondrocytes express integrin-beta-like 1 (Itgbl1) at specific stages, inhibiting integrin signaling and promoting chondrogenesis. Unlike cytosolic integrin inhibitors, ITGBL1 is secreted and physically interacts with integrins to down-regulate activity. We observed that Itgbl1 expression was strongly reduced in the damaged articular cartilage of patients with osteoarthritis (OA). Ectopic expression of Itgbl1 protected joint cartilage against OA development in the destabilization of the medial meniscus-induced OA mouse model. Our results reveal ITGBL1 signaling as an underlying mechanism of protection against destructive cartilage disorders and suggest the potential therapeutic utility of targeting ITGBL1 to modulate integrin signaling in human disease.</P>
