1970년대 이래 만족(滿族)이 샤먼과 샤먼 보조자가 만어(滿語)로 기록한 샤머니즘 관련 문건들이 발견되어 학술계의 관심을 끌어온다. 이들 문건은 만어로 "enduribithe", 즉 "신서(神書)"로 불린다. 만족의 샤머니즘 문건은 씨족 내부에서 전승되어 왔다. 만족의 씨족 집단은 만족이 국가 단계로 진입하며 사라졌지만 그 혈연·지연 및 정치·경제·군사 등의 측면에서 일부는 문화적으로 보존되어 온다. 민족의 샤먼 문건을 내용에 따라 분류하면 크게 다음 5가지로 나눌 수 있다: 1. 샤먼 신가(神歌), 2. 신의 계보와 명칭, 3. 의식 규범, 4. 씨족 내력, 5. 제사 용어. 이들 문건은 샤먼의 종교 활동의 핵심적 내용을 담고 있으며 신과 신의 세계 등에 대한 이해를 돕는 매우 중요한 자료들이다.

An approach is proposed in this paper to coordinate the power system stabilizer and static synchronous compensator with additional power oscillation damping controller (STATCOM-POD) in the wind-thermal-bundled (WTB) transmission system. An improved salp swarm algorithm is proposed. Adaptive weight factor, Levy fight disturbance strategy, non-uniform Gaussian mutation operator and greedy selection strategy are introduced to improve the leader and follower position update formula in the salp swarm algorithm (SSA). This algorithm improves the ability of SSA to avoid falling into the local optimum and can be used to coordinate and optimize controller parameters. Considering the controller's role in controlling the system voltage and damping, an objective function is built to improve the low-frequency oscillation characteristics of the WTB transmission system by comprehensively evaluating the real part and damping ratio of low-frequency oscillation mode and bus voltage. The eigenvalue analysis and time domain simulation are used to verify the efectiveness of the proposed coordination method.

An efficient and selective method for the synthesis of ethyl 2-amino/aryloxy-3-aryl-4-oxo-5-phenyl-4,5-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[3,2-d]pyrimidine-7-carboxylate derivatives has been developed. The main process involved the reaction of diethyl 1-phenyl-3-((triphenylphosphoranylidene)amino)-1H-pyrrole-2,4-dicarboxylate and aromatic isocyanates, followed by addition of amines/phenols in the presence of catalytic amount of sodium ethoxide or solid potassium carbonate.

While the cloud computing benefits healthcare IT modernization, it introduces new challenges for data integration, which is crucial for information sharing, data mining and business intelligence applications. Data virtualization brings a new strategy and related technologies to cope with these challenges, particularly suitable for cloud data services and SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) applications. The paper discussed a unique architecture and related technologies to implement the data virtualization for cloud data. The paper also demonstrated how this technology can be used in the real-world applications, and a city-wide healthcare appointment system has been implemented for example.
Acupuncture and Moxibustion for Cancer-related Fatigue: a Systematic Review and Meta-analysis

Background: Faced with highly prevalent and recalcitrant cancer-related fatigue (CRF), together with the absence of any official guidelines on management, numerous groups have been striving to seek and test alternative therapies including acupuncture and moxibustion. However, different patients have various feedbacks, and the many clinical trials have given rise to varied conclusions. In terms of the therapeutic effect of acupuncture and moxibustion, there exist vast inconsistencies. Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate the auxiliary effectiveness of acupuncture and moxibustion in the treatment of CRF, and to provide more reliable evidence to guide clinical practice. Methods: Randomized controlled trials (RCTs) published before December 2012 were all aggregated, focusing on evaluation of acupuncture or moxibustion for CRF. The quality of the included studies was assessed basing on Cochrane handbook 5.1.0, and the available data were analyzed with RevMan software (version 5.2.0). Descriptive techniques were performed when no available data could be used. Results: A total of 7 studies involving 804 participants were eligible. With real acupuncture versus sham acupuncture, subjects receiving true acupuncture benefited more in the reduction of fatigue. With real acupuncture versus acupressure or sham acupressure, fatigue level appeared 36% improved in the acupuncture group, but 19% in the acupressure group and only 0.6% with sham acupressure. When real acupuncture plus enhanced routine care was compared with enhanced routine care, the combination group improved mean scores for general fatigue, together with physical and mental fatigue. With real acupuncture versus sham acupuncture or wait list controls, the real acupuncture group displayed significant advantages over the wait list controls at 2 weeks for fatigue improvement and better well-being effects at 6 weeks. When moxibustion plus routine care was compared with routine care alone, the meta-analyses demonstrated the combination had a relatively significant benefit in improving severe fatigue and QLQ-C30. Conclusion: Up to the search date, there exist few high quality RCTs to evaluate the effect of acupuncture and moxibustion, especially moxibustion in English. Yet acupuncture and moxibustion still appeared to be efficacious auxiliary therapeutic methods for CRF, in spite of several inherent defects of the included studies. Much more high-quality studies are urgently needed.
