고려시대 안동부(安東府)의 성립과 `태사묘(太師廟)`의 기능

On social history the thesis explores the foundation background and function of Taesamyo(太師廟) in Andongbu(安東府) with the national change from later Shilla to early Goryeo. In the time of Gochang battle the community elites grew on the village boss with 3000 people. By helping Taejo Gochang(古昌) aided the base construction of Goryeo`s Shilla annexation. After Gochang battle victory Goryeo upgraded it to Andongbu. Goryeo gave the higher offices of Daegwang(大匡) and Daesang(大相) to Kim Seonpyeong(Gochang boss), Gweon Haeng, Jang Gil. In community sirname of Taejo 23 they achieved sirname Kim, Gweon, Jang. They became the Samhangongsin and the sirnames` founder. In the age from Seongjong to Hyeonjong they were put on the most honored status of Taesa posthumously. Hojang(戶長) strata represent the area and dominates the administration really. They controle the ancestor worship rite and lead and unite the town. Also they showed the ideological loyalty of center government. Especially descendants of Taesa Kim, Gweon, Jang would have Hojang status. Through building Taesamyo they led town society and let villagers` devotion converge into the King.

To understand the association of master monks` students this thesis studies their back-epitaph in Goryeo. By exploring the students` official names there were many kinds which were dharma-son, manager-pupil, general student. With chasing the origin of the status names the disciples were related to high monks` activities and Buddhist institutions and associations. Among the followers the dharma-son chief was the dharma-keeping disciple and core-student. Manager-pupils were combined with the masters` intervention of Buddhist administration. After Jeongjong(靖宗) who constructed the priest administration the followers divided and sect-conflicts showed. Enlarging sect-group secular persons were registered on the learning disciples with the relation of association movement. (Kyungpook National University / hkm@knu.ac.kr)

정습명 묘지명과 기타 자료를 종합하여 그의 생애와 활동 및 정치지향을 이해하고자 하였다. 정습명 묘지명을 검토한 결과, 다음과 같은 몇 가지 의의를 확인하였다. 먼저, 그의 출생 연도를 알 수 있었다. 두 번째로, 그의 부모, 처가 모두 鄭氏임을 알 수 있어, 당시 향촌 호장층이 동성혼을 통해 그 족적유대를 유지해간 관행을 알 수 있고, 이로써 항공 출신의 기반을 이해할 수 있었다. 세 번째로 향공시, 성균시, 최종 급제시의 나이를 알 수 있었다. 마지막으로, 향공 출신 정습명의 정치 행로, 葬禮過程, 卒年이 『高麗史』와 1년 차이가 나는 사실을 확인하였다. 정습명은 헌종 1년(1094)에 영일현 부호장 鄭候鑑을 아버지로 같은 성씨를 어머니로 하여 출생하였다. 그의 관력과 정치 행보에서 중요한 것은 인종 14년 묘청난을 진압하는 데에서부터 동왕 23년 『三國史記』 편찬에까지 金富軾과 행보를 같이 한 점이다. 의종 즉위 후에는 인종의 顧託 신하로서 적극 국정에 참여하였으나, 동왕 5년에 왕의 측근인 정치구도에서 배제되어 스스로 죽음을 선택하였다. 정습명은 김부식과 같은 지연으로, 부식의 형 부일의 문생으로서 김부식과 정치 행보를 같이하였다. 나아가 그는 公禮를 바탕한 국왕권 중심의 국가 질서를 강조한 김부식의 정치 이념도 함께하였다. 이는 『동문선』에 남은 그의 표전문에서도 나타나 있다. I study Jeong Seupmyeong’s career and political intention on his epitaph and refernece data. On the epitaph there are the following meanings. First, we could find his period from birth to death. Second, his wife’s surname is Jeong. So the provincial elites(戶長層) in the time could have the base of clans’ bondage on the homogenial family-name marriage. Third, I could know his passing years from the town-examination to Seonggyun-examination and final examination. Last, I saw Jeong Seupmyeong’s political life and funeral ceremony. On his death year is one year gap between 『Goryeosa』 and the tombstone. He was born between the father, vice-country-leader(副戶長), and same last-name mother in Yeongilhyeon(迎日縣) in Heongjong(憲宗) 1(1094). The more important in his bureaucratic career and political step is to play the footstep with Kim Busik from the suppression of Myocheong(妙淸) Rebellion in Injong(仁宗) 14 to the edition of 『Samguksagi(三國史記)』 In Injong 23. He participated actively in the state-administration in Uijong(毅宗). But Uijong excluded him in the King’s staff politics. So Jeong suicided. Jong Seupmyeong had the regional relation to Kim Busik. He was the student of Busik’s elder brother Kim Buil. So he worked politically with Kim Busik. Furthermore, he had together Kim Busik’s polical ideology which emphasized the state-order on the center of the king in the structure of the public ritual. this is clear in his 「The letter appealing to the king(表箋文)」 in 『Dongmunseon(東文選)』.
