Most concrete is recently made of an aggregate which is properly absorbed, and carried in it in order to do capability at every fields. We have been close to demand new capability of high flowing and enduring for specific concretes. That is difficult to cope with claiming the efficiency on deterioration from lack of a high quality aggregate. Therefore, For solving the problems we apply to a packing method for using dried materials. That is to say it is a kind of making into an instant. In this study, There is a purpose to present fundamental data, comparing and analyzing a phenomenon about aggregate's absorption following the rate of adding water, for using existing materials.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the university students" perception specializing in communication disorders about speech language pathologists. Methods: For this study a questionnaire consisting of participant characteristics, preferred workplace, expected salary, service period in a workplace, perception of lifelong working and so on was distributed to university students in national wide. one hundred students participated in the survey through Google docs and the data was analyzed. Results: The results indicated that university students perceived personality and patience as speech and language pathologists" basic grounding, and hoped to work in hospitals and speech clinics and so on. Conclusions: The results suggested that students specializing in communication disorders positively perceived about speech-language pathologists and other various factors to be considered together in the future studies.
섬유소재의 미세먼지 오염도 평가 방법 개발에 관한 연구

Recently, functional clothes that can reduce deposition and/or penetration of fine dust have been developed. However, there are no methods to quantitatively evaluate the performance of these clothes. In this study, we developed a method to contaminate a fabric using fine dust and established an approach to quantitatively assess the degree of particle contamination on the fabric surface. Silicate powder was chosen as the particle to simulate fine dust because silicate particles are fluorescent under UV light; therefore, they can be distinguished from any color of non-fluorescent fabric surface. A camera with a high-resolution lens system was used to scan the surface of the contaminated fabric surface, and the degree of particle contamination of the fabric surface was analyzed in terms of the pixels corresponding to the area of the fabric surface contaminated by silicate particles. Finished or unfinished nylon fabrics as well as cotton fabrics were contaminated with silicate particles, and their surfaces were scanned using the established camera. The proposed assessment method was found to be useful for quantitatively comparing the degree of particle contamination of the fabrics.

Background Mycobacterium abscessus (M. abscessus) causes chronic pulmonary infections and is the most difficult Nontuberculous Mycobacteria (NTM) to treat due to its resistance to current antimicrobial drugs, with a treatment success rate of 45.6 %. Thus, novel treatment drugs are needed, of which we identified the drug Clomiphene Citrate (CC), which treats infertility in women, to exhibit inhibitory activity against M. abscessus. Methods To assess the potential of CC as a treatment for M. abscessus pulmonary diseases, we measured its efficacy in vitro and established the intracellular activity of CC against M. abscessus in human macrophages. Results CC significantly inhibited the growth of not only wild-type M. abscessus strains, but also clinical isolate strains and clarithromycin (CLR)-resistant strains of M. abscessus. CC’s drug-efficacy did not have a significant cytotoxicity in the infected macrophages. Furthermore, CC worked in anaerobic non-replicating conditions as well as in the presence of biofilm. Conclusions The Results of this in vitro study on M. abscessus activity suggest that CC is a potential new drug for the treatment of M. abscessus infections.
Characterization of Chitosan Hydrolysates Depolymerized under the Action of Non-specific Enzymes

The aim of this study is to elucidate the features of enzymatic depolymerization of high molecular weight chitosan (CTSN-H). Depolymerization of CTSN-H was mediated by non-specific enzymes action, showed that variations of organic biomasses have a substantial enzymatic effect on the degree of depolymerization of CTSN-H. Additionally, we found that the antimicrobial activity of chitosan hydrolysates derived from the depolymerization of CTSN-H against Candida albicans has shown to be dependent on molecular weight (MW) of chitosan. Although various biological activities of CTSN-H were proposed, less antifungal effect against C. albicans was observed as it. Therefore, the results of this study demonstrates that depolymerization of CTSN-H by non-specific enzyme feature can provide some potent possibility to produce antifungal active forms of chitosan.
