본 연구에서는 14명의 남녀 대학생을 대상으로 열환경 챔버 내에서 여름철 열적 반응을 조사하였다. 여름철 온습도 범위에 해당하는 4가지 온도와 3가지 상대습도의 조합에 의한 8가지 조건에서 실험을 수행하였고, 주위 열환경에 대한 피험자의 심리적 반응을 살펴보기 위하여 전신온냉감과 쾌적감을 조사하였다. 조사결과를 국내 환경 실험실 연구 및 현장조사 결과와 비교하였고, 환경 실험실 연구 수행시의 문제점을 검토하였다.

Carbon nanotube(CNT) possesses excellent electrical, mechanical and thermal properties. Therefore, it has been applied in a variety of fields. In this study, characteristics of composite were investigated after adding CNT in copper, and validity of the extrusion method was reviewed. The composite of CNT(5 wt%), Cu(?= 100nm), zirconia(90g) and ethanol(20ml) is deconcentrated with planetary ball mill for 5hr under 500rpm. The produced powder was made in billet(?= 50mm, length =100mm) by uniaxial press. Then, after billet heat for 1hr under 880℃, Specimen of round bar was made through extrusion process by universal tester in 200ton capacites.

To measure the traffic pollutants with high temporal and spatial resolution under real conditions a mobile emission laboratory (MEL) was designed and built in KIST with close-cooperation with KIMM and Yonsei uninversity. The equipment of the van provides gas phase measurements of CO, NOx, CO₂, THC and number size distribution measurements of fine and ultra-fine particles by a fast mobility particle sizer (FMPS), a condensation particle counter (CPC). The inlet sampling port above the bumper enables the chasing of different type of vehicles. This paper introduces the construction and technical details of the van and presents data from the car chasing experiment of diesel city bus. The dilution ratio was increased rapidly according to the chasing distance. Most particles were counted under 300 ㎚ and the peak concentration of the particles was located between 40-60 ㎚.

Characterization of the particulate matter from three different diesel passenger cars in this study under the vehicle driving cycles and regulatory cycle were analyzed. The vehicles were measured in various vehicle speeds with the aim to verify the particulate number and mass with respect to the road traffic conditions. The total particle number emissions (PNEs) at the lower vehicle speeds increased gradually from the highway to the Seoul metropolis. The results showed that the peak size-segregated bin shifts to the larger particles as diluted exhaust gas is cooled. As the average vehicle speed decreases, the size-segregated peak of particle number concentration (PNC) shifts to smaller particles. The PM composition was mostly composed of both soluble organic fraction (SOF) and soot. The effect of the dilution temperature on the total PNC under the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC) was slightly higher than the dilution ratio. In addition, the nucleation particles (DP: ≤ 13nm) were confirmed to be more sensitive to the dilution temperature rather than other particle size ranges. Comparison with particle composition between vehicle speed cycles and regulatory cycle, sulfate was slightly increased at regulatory cycle, while other components were relatively similar. During cold start, effect of cold environment was an increase in semivolatile nucleation particles, but not solid particles. Research into particle formation dependent on dilution process from diesel passenger cars under the NEDC is important because of verifying impact on vehicular traffic and secondary aerosol formation in Seoul. The results of this study will contribute to improve air quality and human health in Seoul.
